Abstract
Description
以下、添付図面を参照して本発明の実施形態を説明する。図1から図5を参照して、第1実施形態に係る部材の接合方法について説明する。図1に示すように、本実施形態に係る部材の接合方法は、車体フレームの1つであるステアリングサポートビーム(接合体)1に適用され得る。詳細には、本実施形態に係る部材の接合方法によって、ゴム部材(弾性体)40を使用して、ステアリングサポートビーム1の第1管体10と第2管体20とを接合する。
図7から図10に示す第2実施形態の部材の接合方法では、第1管体10と第2管体20と第3管体30とをかしめ接合する。第3管体30および各管体10〜30の材質に関すること以外は、第1実施形態の部材の接合方法と実質的に同様である。従って、第1実施形態で説明した部分と同様の部分については説明を省略することがある。
図11から図14を参照して、第3実施形態に係る部材の接合方法について説明する。図11から図14は、第1実施形態の図1から図4に対応する図である。従って、図1から図4に示した構成と同様の部分については同様の符号を付して説明を省略する。

Claims (7)
- 第1管体と、前記第1管体の管孔に対して前記第1管体の軸方向に挿入可能な第2管体とを準備し、
前記第1管体に前記第2管体を挿入し、
前記第2管体を前記第1管体に向けて径方向に拡管し、それによって前記第1管体と前記第2管体とをかしめ接合する
ことを含む部材の接合方法であって、
前記第1管体は、前記第2管体よりもスプリングバック量の大きい材料で形成されている、部材の接合方法。 - 前記拡管は、
弾性体を前記第2管体に挿入し、
前記弾性体を前記第2管体の長手方向に圧縮して前記第2管体の径方向外側に向けて膨張させ、それによって前記第2管体を前記第1管体に向けて拡管する
ことを含む、請求項1に記載の部材の接合方法。 - 前記第1管体の材料の引張強さは、前記第2管体の材料の引張強さ以上である、請求項1または請求項2に記載の部材の接合方法。
- 前記第1管体の材料のヤング率は、前記第2管体の材料のヤング率以下である、請求項1から請求項3のいずれか1項に記載の部材の接合方法。
- 前記第1管体を挿入可能な第3管体をさらに準備し、
前記第3管体に前記第1管体と前記第2管体とを挿入し、
前記第2管体を前記第1管体および前記第3管体に向けて拡管し、それによって前記第1管体と前記第2管体と前記第3管体とをかしめ接合する
ことを含む部材の接合方法であって、
前記第3管体、前記第1管体、および前記第2管体の順にスプリングバック量の大きい材料で形成されている、請求項1から請求項4のいずれか1項に部材の接合方法。 - 前記第2管体は、前記第1管体の内径よりも太い外径を有する管状の太管部と、前記太管部よりも細くかつ前記第1管体の内径よりも細い外径を有する管状の細管部と、前記太管部と前記細管部とを接続するテーパ状の縮管部とを備え、
前記第1管体に前記第2管体の前記細管部を挿入する、請求項1から請求項5のいずれか1項に記載の部材の接合方法。 - 第1管体の管孔に対して前記第1管体の軸方向に第2管体が挿入された状態で、前記第2管体が拡管されて前記第1管体に接合された接合体であって、
前記第1管体は、前記第2管体よりもスプリングバック量の大きい材料で形成されている、接合体。
