Abstract
(i)水性分散液の重量を基準として40重量%〜98.9重量%の水と、
(ii)水性分散液の重量を基準として1重量%〜40重量%の中空ポリマー粒子であって、中空ポリマー粒子の重量を基準として0.01重量%〜20重量%の1つ以上の多官能ビニルモノマーの重合単位を含み、水中に分散されている、中空ポリマー粒子と、
(iii)水性分散液の重量を基準として0.1重量%〜20重量%の1つ以上のポリオールと、を含む、水性分散液。

Description
(i)水性分散液の重量を基準として40重量%〜98.9重量%の水と、
(ii)水性分散液の重量を基準として1重量%〜40重量%の中空ポリマー粒子であって、中空ポリマー粒子の重量を基準として0.01重量%〜20重量%の1つ以上の多官能ビニルモノマーの重合単位を含み、水中に分散されている、中空ポリマー粒子と、
(iii)水性分散液の重量を基準として0.1重量%〜20重量%の1種以上のポリオールと、を含む、水性分散液である。
(a)水性分散液を提供する工程であって、水性分散液が
(i)水性分散液の重量を基準として1重量%〜40重量%の中空ポリマー粒子であって、中空ポリマー粒子の重量を基準として0.01%〜20重量%の1つ以上の多官能ビニルモノマーの重合単位を含む、中空ポリマー粒子と、
(ii)水性分散液の重量を基準として40重量%〜98.9重量%の水と、
(iii)水性分散液の重量を基準として0.1重量%〜20重量%の1種以上の有機アルコールと、を含む、工程と、
(b)水性分散液から水を除去して、中空ポリマー粒子及びアルコールを含む乾燥組成物を形成する工程であって、水が乾燥組成物中に存在しないか、又は水が、水と中空ポリマー粒子とが0.2:1以下の重量比であるような量で乾燥組成物中に存在するかのいずれかである、工程とを含む。
(空隙率)=(空隙の体積)/(中空ポリマー粒子の体積)
Dv50=粒子の収集物の特徴。Dv50は、粒子の収集物中のまさに50体積%の粒子が、Dv50未満の直径を有するように選択された直径である。
Dv90=Dv50とは独立した、粒子の収集物の特徴。Dv90は、粒子の収集物中のまさに90体積%の粒子が、Dv90未満の直径を有するように選択された直径である。
DVB=ジビニルベンゼン
MMA=メチルメタクリレート
HP−1=水性エマルション重合により生成した中空ポリマー粒子の水性分散液。体積平均粒径=0.4μm。HP−1の重量を基準としたポリマー含有率26重量%。空隙率=30%。重量部による重合単位の全組成:DVB 15部/スチレン 60部/MMA 25部。水性分散液において、Dv50は0.48μmである。
HP−2C=多官能ビニルモノマーなしで作製した中空ポリマー粒子のポリマーラテックス;HP−2の重量を基準としたポリマー含有率30重量%。
バインダー−1=Lucidene(商標)606 APEFエマルション、軟質スチレン−アクリルポリマーラテックス、Dow Chemical Companyにより供給、バインダー−1の重量を基準として47重量%ポリマー固体として供給。
PCC=沈降炭酸カルシウム
GCC=重質炭酸カルシウム
HPMC=Dow Chemical Company製のMethocel(商標)VLVヒドロキシプロピルメチルセルロース
PVOH=Solvay製のRhodoviol(商標)4/20ポリビニルアルコール
a−CD=α−シクロデキストリン
Claims (5)
- 水性分散液であって
(i)前記水性分散液の重量を基準として40重量%〜98.9重量%の水と、
(ii)前記水性分散液の重量を基準として1重量%〜40重量%の中空ポリマー粒子であって、前記中空ポリマー粒子の重量を基準として0.01重量%〜20重量%の1つ以上の多官能ビニルモノマーの重合単位を含み、前記水中に分散されている、中空ポリマー粒子と、
(iii)前記水性分散液の重量を基準として0.1重量%〜20重量%の1種以上のポリオールと、を含む、水性分散液。 - 前記ポリオールが、200以下の分子量を有するポリオール、シクロデキストリン及びこれらの混合物からなる群から選択される、請求項1に記載の水性分散液。
- 前記ポリオールがグリセロールである、請求項1に記載の水性分散液。
- 前記多官能ビニルモノマーがジビニルベンゼンである、請求項1に記載の水性分散液。
- 前記中空ポリマー粒子がコアポリマー及びシェルポリマーを含み、前記シェルポリマーと前記コアポリマーとの重量比が8:1〜15:1である、請求項1に記載の水性分散液。
