Claims (16)

  1. 光線療法用照明エンジンであって、
    a.第1および第2の表面を有する熱伝導性コア基板;
    b.光線療法用の成分である波長を含む光を放射するための複数の発光ダイオード(LED)であって、複数のLEDから熱を吸収するための熱伝導性コア基板の第1の表面に連結するように構成される、複数の発光ダイオード(LED);
    c.放射された光を反射させるための複数のLEDに機能的に連結された複数の光反射板であって、それによって、被験体への光線療法の処置のために光を皮膚表面の方へと向ける、複数の光反射板;
    d.熱伝導性コア基板の第1の表面の少なくとも一部を覆うように位置付けられた窓;
    e.熱伝導性コア基板の第1の表面に連結されたカラーであって、皮膚表面に係合するように及び皮膚表面および周囲の領域から放射された光の漏れを制限するように適合され、カラーが光線療法被験体の皮膚表面に接触する時に装置が光線療法を行うことを可能にする1以上のセンサーに連結されている、カラー;および
    f.熱伝導性コア基板の第2の表面に連結されたヒートシンクであって、熱伝導性コア基板から離れて熱を伝導するように構成且つ適合された、ヒートシンクを含み、
    ここで、前記複数の光反射板の1つ以上は、複数のLEDの周囲にてカラーの内面に位置付けられ、複数のLEDを囲む、
    光線療法用照明エンジン。
  2. 熱伝導性コア基板がアルミニウムを含む、請求項1に記載の光線療法用照明エンジン。
  3. ヒートシンクがファンに機能的に連結される、請求項1に記載の光線療法用照明エンジン。
  4. ヒートシンクが、熱伝導性筐体に機能的に連結される、請求項1に記載の光線療法用照明エンジン。
  5. 複数のLEDから熱伝導性コア基板に熱を伝導するための、複数のLEDの少なくとも1つに及び熱伝導性金属コア基板の第1の表面に連結された複数の導体パッドをさらに含み、該複数の導体パッドが、LEDの少なくとも1つの領域より大きい領域を有している、請求項1に記載の光線療法用照明エンジン。
  6. 複数のLEDが1つ以上のベアダイLEDを含む、請求項1に記載の光線療法用照明エンジン。
  7. ベアダイLEDと空気との間の内部屈折からの光損失を減少させるための、間に空隙を生じさせることなくベアダイLEDと直接接触した状態で複数の光透過性カバーをさらに含む、請求項6に記載の光線療法用照明エンジン。
  8. 複数のLEDが、UVB周波数範囲を含む治療域で光を放射する、請求項1に記載の光線療法用照明エンジン。
  9. UVB周波数範囲が約300−320ナノメートルである、請求項8に記載の光線療法用照明エンジン。
  10. 複数の反射板の1つが、円錐形であり、複数のLEDのまさに1つから放射された光を反射させるように位置付けられる及び構成される、請求項1に記載の光線療法用照明エンジン。
  11. 複数の光反射板が、放射された光を皮膚表面の方へと反射させるためのアルミニウムの反射板表面を含む、請求項1に記載の光線療法用照明エンジン。
  12. 熱伝導性コア基板、ヒートシンク、複数のLED、複数の光反射板、窓、およびカラーの少なくとも1つを収容するように構成されたハウジングをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の光線療法用照明エンジン。
  13. ハウジングの側壁の一部が窓の位置を越えて伸長するように、窓がハウジング内に位置付けられる、請求項12に記載の光線療法用照明エンジン。
  14. 窓が、特定の波長で光を遮断する及び/又は減衰するために、放射された光のいくらかをフィルター処理するように適合される、請求項1に記載の光線療法用照明エンジン。
  15. 窓の位置を越えて伸長するハウジングの側壁の一部が、光を皮膚表面の内方へと反射させるために反射面に連結される、請求項13に記載の光線療法用照明エンジン。
  16. カラーが軟性の生体適合性材料を含む、請求項1に記載の光線療法用照明エンジン。
