Abstract
Description
(a)約5〜約40重量%のポリプロピレン−ポリエチレン(コ)ポリマーであって、(i)前記(コ)ポリマーの約70〜約95重量%のプロピレン含量、(ii)約3.0未満の多分散度(Mw/Mn)の値、(iii)ASTM D1238に従って230℃/2.16kgで測定された、約20〜約300g/10分のメルトフローレート、(iv)ASTM 3418に従って測定された約90℃未満の融点、および(v)ASTM D3418−12に従って、10℃/分の加熱及び冷却速度で測定された約35J/g未満の融解熱値を有する、ポリプロピレン−ポリエチレン(コ)ポリマー;
(b)約30〜約70重量%の粘着付与剤;ならびに
(c)任意に約30重量%までのワックスまたは可塑剤
を含む。
該接着剤は、140℃、10rad/sにおいて約30より大きいtanδ値、およびASTM3236−88に従って測定された、150℃において約2,000〜約11,000cpsの溶融(ブルックフィールド)粘度を有する。

(1)試料の端から1インチの位置に試料の幅2インチにわたって線を作るように試料にペンでマークをつける。(2)長さ6インチ、幅2インチのマスキングテープ1つ(Paperworks社製、pwi−inc.comからのCorporate Express、MFG#CEB1X60TN、またはこれの同等品)をフィルム側全体に固定する;(3)ペンのマークと試料の端部との間の2in2の領域でサンプルを少しずつ伸ばして、フィルムからの不織繊維の剥離を開始させる。(4)剥離を開始させるために引き伸ばされた試料の端部に、試料の上2インチ幅の上を横切って中央に、長さ4インチ、幅1インチのマスキングテープを1つ固定し、テープを加圧して試料に結合させる。テープは、不織布の反対側の2インチ幅の表面に置かれる。このテープは、ステップ5および6が完了した後のT−剥離試料のフィルム部分を支持する。(5)ペンマークと試料の端の間の2in2の領域で、不織布の側のフィルムから繊維を慎重に引き抜く。十分に結合された試料については、これは、ペンのマークに近づく方向に消しゴムを用いて緩やかに試料を擦ることによって達成することができる。(6)ペンマークまで、不織布をフィルムから慎重に剥離する。(7)T−剥離試料の不織部分を形成する、試料から意図的に剥離された不織繊維の上部2インチの幅を横切って中央に、長さ4インチ、幅1インチの第2のテープ1つを配置する。T剥離試験を行うには、下部グリップに取り付けられたT剥離試料の不織部分と、上部グリップに取り付けられたT剥離試料のフィルム部分とを有するT剥離構成中のグリップに試料を取り付ける。試料は、たるみが最小であり、測定された力が約0.02N未満であるような形でグリップに取り付けられる。クロスヘッドは12インチ/分の一定のクロスヘッド速度で上昇し、試料は、それぞれの材料(不織繊維およびフィルム)が完全に分離するまで剥がされる。力および伸長のデータは、剥離中に50Hzの速度で取得される。最初の8インチの伸びの間の剥離力(g)は、モードI結合強度として報告される。

Claims (20)
- ホットメルト接着剤であって、
(a)約5〜約40重量%のポリプロピレン−ポリエチレン(コ)ポリマーであって、(i)前記(コ)ポリマーの約70〜約95重量%のプロピレン含量、(ii)約3.0未満の多分散(Mw/Mn)指数、(iii)ASTM D1238に従って230℃/2.16kgで測定された、約20〜約300g/10分のメルトフローレート、(iv)ASTM 3418に従って測定された約90℃未満の融点、および(v)ASTM D3418−12に従って、1℃/分の加熱及び冷却速度で測定された約35J/g未満の融解熱値を有する、ポリプロピレン−ポリエチレン(コ)ポリマー;
(b)約30〜約70重量%の粘着付与剤;ならびに
(c)任意に約30重量%までのワックスまたは可塑剤;
を含み、
前記接着剤が、(i)140℃、10rad/sにおいて約30より大きいtan(δ)値および(ii)ASTM3236−88に従って測定された、150℃において約2,000〜約11,000cpsの溶融粘度を有する、ホットメルト接着剤。 - 前記ポリプロピレン−ポリエチレン(コ)ポリマーは、(i)前記(コ)ポリマーの約75〜約92重量%のプロピレン含量、(ii)2.5未満の多分散指数、(iii)約70℃未満の融点、および(iv)20J/g未満の融解熱値を有する、請求項1に記載のホットメルト接着剤。
- 前記ポリプロピレン−ポリエチレン(コ)ポリマーは、(i)前記(コ)ポリマーの約81〜約91重量%のプロピレン含量、(ii)約65℃未満の融点、および(iii)15J/g未満の融解熱値を有する、請求項1に記載のホットメルト接着剤。
- 前記粘着付与剤が、C5樹脂、石油蒸留物、水素化炭化水素、C5/C9樹脂、C9樹脂、ポリテルペン、ロジン、水素化ロジン、ロジンエステル、およびそれらの混合物からなる群から選ばれる、請求項1に記載のホットメルト接着剤。
- 前記粘着付与剤が、C5樹脂、石油蒸留物、水素化炭化水素、C5/C9樹脂、C9樹脂、ポリテルペンおよびそれらの混合物からなる群から選ばれる、請求項4に記載のホットメルト接着剤。
- ワックスが、パラフィン、マイクロクリスタリン、ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレンフィッシャートロプシュワックス、酸化フィッシャートロプシュ、官能化ワックス、およびそれらの混合物からなる群から選択される、請求項1に記載のホットメルト接着剤。
- 可塑剤が、ポリブテン、ポリイソブチレン、パラフィン油、ナフテン油、フタレート、ベンゾエート、アジピン酸エステル、鉱油、脂肪族油、芳香族油、長鎖部分エーテルエステル、アルキルモノエステル、エポキシ化油、ジアルキルジエステル、芳香族ジエステル、アルキルエーテルモノエステルおよびそれらの混合物からなる群から選択される、請求項1に記載のホットメルト接着剤。
- ホットメルト接着剤であって、
(a)約15〜約25重量%のポリプロピレン−ポリエチレン(コ)ポリマーであって、 (i)前記(コ)ポリマーの約81〜約91重量%のプロピレン含量、(iii)約40〜約150g/10分のメルトフローレート、(iv)約65℃未満の融点、および(v)約20J/g未満の融解熱値を有する、ポリプロピレン−ポリエチレン(コ)ポリマー;
(b)約50〜約60重量%の粘着付与剤;ならびに
(c)約25〜約35重量%のワックスまたは可塑剤を含み、
前記接着剤は、(i)2.5gsmアドオンでの100g/inを超える初期および老化結合強度の両方、ならびに(ii)2.5gsmアドオンで300秒を超える静的剥離時間あたりのグリーン強度を有する、請求項1に記載のホットメルト接着剤。 - ホットメルト接着剤であって、
(a)約5〜約40重量%のポリプロピレン−ポリエチレン(コ)ポリマーであって、(i)前記(コ)ポリマーの約70〜約95重量%のプロピレン含量、(ii)約3.0未満の多分散(Mw/Mn)指数、(iii)ASTM D1238に従って230℃/2.16で測定された、約20〜約300g/分のメルトフローレート、(iv)ASTM 3418に従って測定された約90℃未満の融点、および(v)ASTM D3418−12に従って、10℃/分の加熱及び冷却速度で測定された約35J/g未満の融解熱値を有する、ポリプロピレン−ポリエチレン(コ)ポリマー;
(b)約30〜約70重量%の粘着付与剤
(c)約1〜約50重量%の非晶質ポリアルファオレフィンポリマー;ならびに
(d)約1〜約30重量%のワックスおよび/または可塑剤;
から本質的になり、
前記接着剤が、(i)140℃、10rad/sにおいて約30より大きいtan(δ)値、および(ii)ASTM3236−88に従って測定される、150℃において約2,000〜約11,000cpsの溶融粘度を有する、ホットメルト接着剤。 - 前記ポリプロピレン−ポリエチレン(コ)ポリマーが、(i)前記(コ)ポリマーの約75〜約92重量%のプロピレン含量、(ii)2.5未満の多分散指数、(iii)約70℃未満の融点、および(iv)20J/g未満の融解熱値を有する、請求項9に記載のホットメルト接着剤。
- 前記ポリプロピレン−ポリエチレン(コ)ポリマーが、(i)(コ)ポリマーの約81〜約91重量%のプロピレン含量、(ii)2.5未満の多分散指数、(iii)約65℃未満の融点、および(iv)15J/g未満の融解熱値を有する、請求項9に記載のホットメルト接着剤。
- 前記粘着付与剤が、C5樹脂、石油蒸留物、水素化炭化水素、C5/C9樹脂、C9樹脂、ポリテルペン、ロジン、水素化ロジン、ロジンエステル、およびそれらの混合物からなる群から選ばれる、請求項9に記載のホットメルト接着剤。
- 前記粘着付与剤が、C5樹脂、石油蒸留物、水素化炭化水素、C5/C9樹脂、C9樹脂、ポリテルペンおよびそれらの混合物からなる群から選ばれる、請求項12に記載のホットメルト接着剤。
- ワックスが、パラフィン、マイクロクリスタリン、ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレンフィッシャートロプシュワックス、酸化フィッシャートロプシュ、官能化ワックス、およびそれらの混合物からなる群から選択される、請求項9に記載のホットメルト接着剤。
- 可塑剤が、ポリブテン、ポリイソブチレン、フタレート、ベンゾエート、アジピン酸エステル、鉱油、脂肪族油、パラフィン油、ナフテン油、芳香族油、長鎖部分エーテルエステル、アルキルモノエステル、エポキシ化油、ジアルキルジエステル、芳香族ジエステル、アルキルエーテルモノエステルおよびそれらの混合物からなる群から選択される、請求項9に記載のホットメルト接着剤。
- ホットメルト接着剤であって、
(a)約15〜約25重量%のポリプロピレン−ポリエチレン(コ)ポリマーであって、(i)前記(コ)ポリマーの約81〜約91重量%のプロピレン含量、(ii)約2.5未満の多分散度(Mw/Mn)の値、(iii)約40〜約150g/10分のメルトフローレート、(iv)約65℃未満の融点、および(v)約15J/g未満の融解熱値を有する、ポリプロピレン−ポリエチレン(コ)ポリマー;
(b)約50〜約60重量%の粘着付与剤;
(c)約1〜約20重量%の非晶質ポリアルファオレフィンポリマー;ならびに
(d)約25〜約35重量%のワックスおよび/または可塑剤
から本質的になり、
前記接着剤は、(i)2.5gsmアドオンでの100g/inを超える初期および老化接合強度の両方、ならびに(ii)2.5gsmアドオンで300秒を超える静的剥離時間あたりのグリーン強度を有する、請求項9に記載のホットメルト接着剤。 - 2つの基材の間に介在する請求項1に記載の接着剤を含む、物品。
- 前記基材が、不織布、ポリマーフィルム、弾性フィルムおよびティッシュからなる群から選択される、請求項17に記載の物品。
- おむつ、トレーニングパンツ、吸収性パンツ、生理用ナプキン、医療用ガウン、ミードパッドまたは消毒ワイプである、請求項17に記載の物品。
- 結合された物品を形成する方法であって、
1)第1の基材の少なくとも一部分に、約155℃以下の温度で、0.1〜約10gsmのアドオンレベルで、請求項1記載のホットメルト接着剤組成物を噴霧する工程;
2)第2の基材を前記ホットメルト接着剤上に適用する工程;および
3)前記ホットメルト接着剤組成物を室温まで冷却する工程を含む、方法。
