好ましい実施形態においては、リモネンは、D−リモネン(CAS:5989−27−5)の鏡像異性の純粋な形態として前記組成物中に存在する。他の実施形態においては、リモネンは、L−リモネン(CAS:5989−54−8)の鏡像異性の純粋な形態として前記組成物中に存在する。更に別の態様においては、リモネンは、ジペンテン(CAS:138−86−3)としても知られる、ラセミ混合物として存在する。
本発明に係る組成物中の湿潤剤は、アニオン性部分として、アルキルベンゼンスルホン酸塩、好ましくはドデシルベンゼンスルホン酸塩を有するアニオン性界面活性剤であることが好ましい。カチオン性対イオンとしては、トリエチルアンモニウムイオン、トリエタノールアンモニウムイオン、テトラブチルアンモニウム(tertrabutylammonium)イオン、又は他のテトラ−アルキルアンモニウムイオン、テトラフェニルホスホニウムイオン、又は他のテトラ−アルキルホスホニウムイオン;又は金属−イオン及びクラウンエーテルの組合せ、及びこれらの組合せの一覧から選択されることが好ましい。

水の分離添加を有するパルスジェット熱噴霧器(fogger)について、利点としては、蒸発させるのにより多くの熱量を必要とする水は、高い温度のポイントで共鳴器に注入され、高温の爆発ガスを所謂オープンシステムの水蒸気温度(=100℃)へと冷却する。リモネン組成物は、冷却ポイントで注入され、0.05秒間〜0.1秒間最初の排出温度の代わりに100℃の前冷却温度を吸収し、「ベンチュリー効果」の混合領域へともたされることによって30℃〜40℃の更に低い温度となる。所望の液滴のサイズは、注入された水の調節可能な流速によって制御される。必要であれば、より大きく、重い液滴のサイズを生成することができる。したがって、前記技術は、LV及びULVシステムと比較して、一種の低温の霧の適用システムを提供する。他の利点としては、生成された水の蒸気が共鳴器の排気管を洗浄し、パイプの末端における噴霧溶液の残渣を回避する。更なる利点としては、水の注入によって、どのような場合でも、油系農薬の霧が点火することを防止し、機械が不適切に用いられたときに、火事の危険を非常に少なくし、低減する。たとえユーザーが機械の使用を止め、フォグタップ(fog tap)を閉め忘れたとしても、水の注入によって、農薬配合物の点火を防止するであろう。
本発明は、実施例を示し、より詳細に記載されるが、これらに限定されない。
塊茎の抗出芽処置のための低温噴霧における使用に好適な組成物は、下記の通り調製されることができる。オレンジ油、食品グレードを出発材料として選択した。このD−リモネンリッチなテルペン油に、界面活性剤、具体的には非イオン性界面活性剤及びイオン性界面活性剤を添加した。リモネン抗酸化剤を添加することは、利点があった。表1で下記に示される組成物において、ブチル化ヒドロキシトルエンが選択された。オレンジ油の他に、溶媒は必要ではない。

ジャガイモ保存施設の設計研究
保存システムを設計し、大型の商業的な保存施設を縮小型に複製した。1段当たり4個の箱のための場所を有する、4つの試験キャビンからなった。全部で7つの段があり、箱は、時計回りに階段状に置かれた。各キャビンを用いて、キャビン当たり560kgまでのジャガイモを保存することができた。キャビンの寸法は、図1に図示される。
560kgのジャガイモが入ったキャビンを冷却された保存施設に収容した。品種ビンチェのジャガイモを用いた。ジャガイモは、直接試験フィールドから取りこまれた。それらを収穫した後、特別な等級分けを行わなかった。塊茎の質は良好で、特殊なものは報告されなかった。10月8日に収穫した。2週間後、約20kgから青い箱に置いた。4つの試験キャビン(1段当たり4箱)に置かれた。各箱は、下記のとおり、様々な対象を含んだ。
−対象1:ビンチェ非処置
−対象2:ビンチェCIPC(Neonet開始 30ml/トン)(CIPC 300 EC)
−対象3:イノベーター非処置
−対象4:Himalaya 5kgのイノベーター(1ヘクタール当たり5kgのマレイン酸ヒドラジド 600SG(葉の適用)
全部で、各キャビンに560kgのジャガイモがあった。
−セル中の塊茎の正確な重量が分かるので、配合された製品の正確な量を、算出し、調製した。
−スプレー/噴霧の間及びスプレー後約15分間まで、内部換気のスイッチをオンにしたままにし(フォースIII)、製品と塊茎との間の良好な接触を確実にした。
−スプレー後約15分、内部換気のスイッチをオフにした。
−(スプレーの終わった後最小12時間)の後の日に、次の適用まで又は試験の終わりまで、自動調節のスイッチをオンにした。
表2:処置スケジュール
対象の評価を2回行った。表3に示されるPCA−スケールに準拠し、第1の評価を3月8日に行った。キャビンの4番目の段(キャビンの中央)で得られた全体的な数であった。結果を表2にまとめる。

図2は、保存前に処置されなかった品種ビンチェからのジャガイモ(黒色)及び保存に入る前に、ジャガイモ1トン当たり30mlのCIPCで処置されたジャガイモ(灰色)についての芽の指標の図式的表示を提供する。4つの処置キャビンについての結果が示される。第1のキャビンは、保存中処置されなかった。第2のキャビンは、3週間毎にNeonet 500HN配合物中のCIPCを用いて、高温噴霧を介し、ジャガイモ1トン当たり7.5mlのCIPCの用量率で、処置した。第3のキャビンは、リモネン組成物を用いて、初回用量率(ジャガイモ1トン当たり90mlのリモネン)で処置し、前記用量以降の第2の処置からジャガイモ1トン当たり30mlのリモネンであった。第4のキャビンは、ジャガイモ1トン当たり90mlのリモネンの初回用量率で、リモネン組成物で処置し、前記用量以降の第2の処置から、用量率は、ジャガイモ1トン当たり30mlのリモネンであり、第4のキャビンでは、各処置は、ジャガイモ1トン当たり3.75mlのCIPCの用量率で、Neonet 500HN配合物を用いたCIPCの適用と組み合わせた。
図3は、保存前に非処置だった品種ビンチェからのジャガイモ(黒色)及びローラーテーブルにおける保存前に30mlのCIPC/トンで処置されたジャガイモ(灰色)のための芽の指標を示す。Neonetは、CIPC配合物であり、CIPCを用いた3週間毎のジャガイモの処置は、芽の成長を低減したが、保存に入る前にCIPCで処置されたジャガイモと比べて追加の効果はない。BCP425Dは、オレンジ油、すなわちリモネンを意味する。90mlの初回用量率の後、30mlの用量におけるリモネンは、芽の成長についての効果を示さなかった。Neonetの形態における3.75mlのCIPCを用いた処置との組合せたリモネンの同じ用量率は、CIPCの半分の量を用いた芽の形成の抑制に対して効果的であり、CIPC単独の使用よりも同じか良好な結果を得ることが証明された。
各観察日に、内部の芽も評価した。処置のいずれにおいても、典型的な芽の存在は、検知されなかった。
実施例3
高温噴霧によるジャガイモの品種(ビンチェ、シャーロット、及びニコラ)上のBIO024(940g/lのオレンジ油)の適用における幾つかのタイミングでの評価を行った。結果を図8にまとめる。
Claims (15)
- 塊茎の抗出芽処置のための方法であって、
非処置の塊茎と比べて、少なくとも部分的に、前記塊茎の出芽を抑制し(supress)、前記塊茎に形成された芽を除去するのに効果的なCIPC及びリモネンの総量で、前記塊茎にCIPC及びリモネンを適用する工程を含み、
CIPC重量に対するリモネン重量の比が、4超であることを特徴とする方法。 - CIPCが、高温噴霧によって、50℃より高い温度で適用される請求項1に記載の方法。
- リモネンが、噴霧によって適用される請求項1から2のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記方法が、前記塊茎に適用される初回において、CIPCの質量に対するリモネンの質量の比が、2〜50である請求項1から3のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記方法が、塊茎に適用された後2回目から、CIPCの質量に対するリモネンの質量の比が、4〜30である請求項4に記載の方法。
- リモネンが、精油の形態で適用される請求項1から5のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記精油が、オレンジ油である請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記塊茎が、ジャガイモ(potato)である請求項1から7のいずれかに記載の方法。
- リモネンがCIPCの後に適用される、又はCIPCがリモネンの後に適用される請求項1から8のいずれかに記載の方法。
- リモネンが、1つ以上の界面活性剤を含む組成物の形態で適用される請求項1から9のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 第2の処置が、第1の処置の後、1日〜30日の間で行われる請求項1から10のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 塊茎の処置におけるCIPCの少なくとも部分的な代替のための抗出芽剤としてのリモネンの使用。
- 請求項1から11のいずれかに記載の方法における使用に好適な組成物であって、
乳剤(EC)の形態で、550g/l〜750g/lのリモネン及び1つ以上のエマルション安定用界面活性剤を含むことを特徴とする組成物。 - 10重量%未満の溶媒を含む請求項13に記載の組成物。
- 5重量%未満の水を含む請求項14に記載の組成物。
