Description
Claims (20)
- 量産される製品における油または潤滑剤の汚染を検出する方法であって、
少なくとも2つの蛍光性タガントを前記製品のための加工用機械で使用する油または潤滑剤に添加するステップと、前記蛍光性タガントの少なくとも1つについて蛍光を発するように前記製品に放射線を照射するステップと、油に汚染された製品中の前記蛍光を発するタガントから放出される放射線を検出するステップとを含む方法。 - 前記蛍光性タガントの少なくとも1つが、紫外線の照射によって蛍光を発するものである請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記蛍光性タガントの少なくとも1つが、可視スペクトルの放射線を放出するものである請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記蛍光性タガントの2つが、紫外線の照射によって蛍光を発するものである請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記蛍光性タガントが、異なる濃度レベルで前記油または潤滑剤に添加され、その少なくとも1つの蛍光性タガントが、その発光を本方法の作業者によって視覚的に検出できる濃度レベルで添加される請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記蛍光性タガントの少なくとも1つが、約50ppb〜約100ppmの間の濃度で前記油または潤滑剤に添加される請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記蛍光を発するタガントから放出される放射線を検出する電子式放射線検出装置を通過するように前記製品を移送するステップをさらに含む請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記蛍光性タガントが、第1の波長で放射線を吸収し、前記第1の波長とは異なる第2の波長で蛍光を発するストークスシフト性タガントである請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記製品が、紙に包まれた巻きタバコロッドである請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記製品が、食料品である請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記蛍光性タガントの1つ又は2つが、油溶性である請求項1〜10のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記蛍光性タガントの1つ又は2つが、油分散性である請求項1〜10のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- タバコ製品における油または潤滑剤の汚染を検出する方法であって、少なくとも2つの蛍光性タガントを前記製品のための加工用機械に使用される油または潤滑剤に添加するステップと、前記蛍光性タガントの少なくとも1つが蛍光を発するように前記製品に放射線を照射するステップと、油に汚染された製品中の前記蛍光を発するタガントから放出される放射線を検出するステップとを含む方法。
- 連続した複数の機械を有し、それぞれが1つまたは複数の油または潤滑剤を使用する製造プロセスで量産される製品の油汚染源を特定する方法であって、
第1の蛍光性タガントを、前記連続した複数の機械でそれぞれ使用する前記油または潤滑剤に添加するステップと、
前記第1の蛍光性タガントとは異なるものであって、前記連続した複数の機械のそれぞれの油または潤滑剤に対して独特となる第2の蛍光性タガントを、前記連続した複数の機械でそれぞれ使用する前記油または潤滑剤に添加するステップと、
前記製品に第1の放射線スペクトルを照射し、前記第1の蛍光性タガントによって放出される放射線を視覚的に検出するステップと、
放射線を放出した製品を、前記製造プロセスから取り出すステップと
を含む方法。 - 前記汚染源を特定するために、前記取り出した製品に第2の放射線スペクトルを照射し、前記第2の蛍光性タガントによって放出される放射線を検出するステップをさらに含む請求項14に記載の方法。
- 前記第2の蛍光性タガントによって放出される放射線の検出が、電子式放射線検出装置で実施される請求項15に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の蛍光性タガントによって放出される放射線の検出が、本方法の作業者によって視覚的に実施される請求項14〜16のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の蛍光性タガントが、本方法の作業者によってその発光を視覚的に検出できる濃度レベルで前記油または潤滑剤に添加される請求項14〜17のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記蛍光性タガントが、第1の波長で放射線を吸収し、前記第1の波長とは異なる第2の波長で蛍光を発するストークスシフト性タガントである請求項14〜18のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 少なくとも前記第1の蛍光性タガントが、紫外スペクトルの放射線を吸収し、可視スペクトルの放射線を放出するものである請求項19に記載の方法。
