Abstract
Description
一対の貼合ロールと、
上記一対の貼合ロールの少なくとも一方に接触するバックアップロールと
を含み、上記バックアップロールが駆動されて上記一対の貼合ロールを回転させ、回転している上記一対の貼合ロールの間をシート部材および長尺のフィルム部材が重ね合わされた状態で搬送および押圧されるように構成されている、貼合装置が提供される。
上記シート部材は長尺の剥離フィルムに積層されて上記搬送部により搬送され、上記エッジにおいて上記シート部材から上記剥離フィルムが剥離されるものであってよい。
本発明の1つの実施形態における貼合装置について、図1を参照しながら説明する。
粘着剤層、偏光子、粘着剤層およびセパレートフィルムが積層された積層体、
偏光子、粘着剤層およびセパレートフィルムが積層された積層体、
偏光子および保護フィルムが積層された積層体、
粘着剤層、偏光子、保護フィルムが積層された積層体
などであってよい。
あるいは、シート部材1が偏光子を含まない場合、シート部材1は、
機能性フィルム(例えば位相差フィルムまたは輝度向上フィルム)、
保護フィルム、機能性フィルムおよび保護フィルムが積層された積層体
などであってよい。
あるいは、フィルム部材3が偏光子を含む場合、フィルム部材3は、シート部材1に接する側(図示する態様では上側)から順に、
粘着剤層、偏光子、粘着剤層およびセパレートフィルムが積層された積層体、
偏光子、粘着剤層およびセパレートフィルムが積層された積層体
などであってよい。
本発明のもう1つの実施形態における貼合装置について、図2を参照しながら説明する。なお、特に説明のない限り、実施形態1にて述べた説明が本実施形態においても当て嵌まり得る。

Claims (7)
- シート部材を長尺のフィルム部材に貼合するための貼合装置であって、
一対の貼合ロールと、
前記一対の貼合ロールの少なくとも一方に接触するバックアップロールと
を含み、前記バックアップロールが駆動されて前記一対の貼合ロールを回転させ、回転している前記一対の貼合ロールの間をシート部材および長尺のフィルム部材が重ね合わされた状態で搬送および押圧されるように構成されている、貼合装置。 - 前記バックアップロールは、前記一対の貼合ロールにそれぞれ接触する一対のバックアップロールである、請求項1に記載の貼合装置。
- 前記一対の貼合ロールの直径が、20〜150mmの範囲以内にある、請求項1または2に記載の貼合装置。
- 前記バックアップロールの直径が、120〜250mmの範囲以内にある、請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の貼合装置。
- 前記シート部材を前記一対の貼合ロールの手前まで搬送するための搬送部であって、前記一対の貼合ロール側にエッジを有する搬送部を更に含み、
前記シート部材は長尺の剥離フィルムに積層されて前記搬送部により搬送され、前記エッジにおいて前記シート部材から前記剥離フィルムが剥離される、請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の貼合装置。 - 前記一対の貼合ロールの中心間を結ぶ直線と、前記搬送部のエッジとの間の距離が、50mm以下である、請求項5に記載の貼合装置。
- 前記シート部材はセパレートフィルムを介して前記剥離フィルムに積層され、前記エッジにおいて前記シート部材から前記剥離フィルムが前記セパレートフィルムと共に剥離される、請求項5または6に記載の貼合装置。
