Abstract
Description
接着剤組成物を調製する工程と、
接着剤組成物をクレーピングシリンダに塗布する工程と、
ペーパーウェブをクレーピングシリンダに押しつけて、ペーパーウェブをクレーピングシリンダに付着させる工程と、
ドクターブレードを用いてペーパーウェブをクレーピングシリンダから掻き取る工程と、
に関するものであり、接着剤組成物は6.5と8の間のpHを持ち、1つのポリマーを含んでいて、このポリマーの構成単位は次の構造で示され、
Claims (16)
- 接着剤組成物を調製する工程であって、前記接着剤組成物は6.5と8の間のpHを持ち、10から99モル%のビニルアミンモノマーと、90から1モル%のN−ビニルホルムアミドモノマーとを含む、1つ以上のビニルアミン/N−ビニルホルムアミドポリマーを含む工程と、
STP条件下で前記ポリマーをポリビニルアルコールと接触させる工程と、
前記ポリビニルアルコールが完全に溶解して溶液となるまで、前記ポリビニルアルコールおよび前記ポリマーを、90から95℃の間の温度に保つ工程と、
前記接着剤組成物をクレーピングシリンダに塗布する工程と、
ペーパーウェブを前記クレーピングシリンダに押しつけて、前記ペーパーウェブを前記クレーピングシリンダに付着させる工程と、
ドクターブレードを用いて前記ペーパーウェブを前記クレーピングシリンダから掻き取る工程と、
を含む、ペーパーウェブのクレーピング方法。 - 前記接着剤組成物のpHが7と7.5の間である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ポリマーの引きはがし粘着力が、ハロゲン化酸と反応させていない同種のポリマーよりも少なくとも20%大きい、請求項1または2に記載の方法。
- 前記接着剤組成物が、可塑剤、湿潤剤、酸化安定剤、無機リン酸塩、有機リン酸塩、剥離剤、潤滑剤、防食剤、およびこれらの組み合わせからなる群より選ばれる、少なくとも1つの追加試剤を更に含む、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 不活性蛍光トレーサーを前記接着剤組成物に加える工程と、前記クレーピングシリンダ上の蛍光を検出して前記ポリマーの量を求める工程と、を更に含む、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記ポリマーを、ポリビニルアルコール、ポリ酢酸ビニル、ビニルアルコール含有ポリマー、酢酸ビニル含有ポリマー、ポリアミノアミド、ポリアミド、ポリアミン、架橋したポリアミノアミド、ポリエチレンイミン、ポリアクリルアミド、グリオキシル化ポリアクリルアミド、ポリアクリラート、ポリメタクリル酸メチル、澱粉、カルボキシメチルセルロース、ポリエーテル、ビニルアミン/アクリルアミド共重合体、ビニルアミン/アクリラート共重合体、ポリビニルピロリドン、合成タンパク質、天然タンパク質、およびこれらの組み合わせからなる群より選ばれる、別のポリマーと架橋させる、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記架橋を、エピハロヒドリン、ジアルデヒド、ジグリシジルエーテル、およびこれらの組み合わせからなる群より選ばれる架橋剤を用いて行う、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記ポリマーは、ポリビニルアルコール、ポリ酢酸ビニル、ビニルアルコール含有ポリマー、酢酸ビニル含有ポリマー、ポリアミノアミド、ポリアミド、ポリアミン、架橋したポリアミノアミド、ポリエチレンイミン、ポリアクリルアミド、グリオキシル化ポリアクリルアミド、ポリアクリラート、ポリメタクリル酸メチル、澱粉、カルボキシメチルセルロース、ポリエーテル、ビニルアミン/アクリルアミド共重合体、ビニルアミン/アクリラート共重合体、ポリビニルピロリドン、合成タンパク質、天然タンパク質、およびこれらの組み合わせからなる群より選ばれる要素を更に含む共重合体である、請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記ペーパーウェブが、前記クレーピングシリンダに押しつける前に乾燥されている、請求項1〜8のいずれか一項の方法。
- 前記接着剤組成物は、2つ以上のビニルアミン/N−ビニルホルムアミドポリマーの混合物を含み、前記ポリマーの少なくとも1つは低分子量ポリマーであり、前記ポリマーの少なくとも1つは高分子量ポリマーである、請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記接着剤組成物は、2つ以上のビニルアミン/N−ビニルホルムアミドポリマーの混合物を含み、前記ポリマーの少なくとも1つは第1ポリマーであって、2,000から200万のMwを持ち、前記ポリマーの少なくとも1つは第2ポリマーであって、1,000から20万のMwを持ち、前記第1ポリマーのMwは前記第2ポリマーのMwより大きい、請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記第1ポリマーが液状ポリマーであり、且つ、前記第2ポリマーが固形ポリマーであるか、或いは、前記第1ポリマーが固形ポリマーであり、且つ、前記第2ポリマーが液状ポリマーである、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 組成物の製造方法であって、
乾燥状態のポリビニルアルコール(PVOH)と、液状のビニルアミン/N−ビニルホルムアミドコポリマー(PVA)とを、80℃未満の温度で接触させる工程と、
前記PVOHおよび前記PVAを90から95℃の間の温度に加熱する工程と、
前記PVOHが溶媒に完全に溶解するまで前記温度を保つ工程と、
前記溶媒を80℃以下まで放冷する工程と、
を含む、方法。 - 前記乾燥状態が、粉末、固体の塊、削った細片、粉砕物、薄片、成形品、凝固物、およびこれらの組み合わせからなる群より選ばれる、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 前記液状が、溶液、分散液、エマルション、懸濁液、およびこれらの組み合わせからなる群より選ばれる、請求項13または14に記載の方法。
- 前記溶媒が水である、請求項13〜15のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
