Abstract
Description
本発明は、前記課題に鑑みてなされたものであり、その目的とするところは、組電池の小型化を実現しつつ、固定部でのバスバと外部端子ケーブルの締結力を向上させた組電池を提供することにある。
また、板状部材の重なり部の構成をセルホルダの端子固定部を覆うようにすることで、固定部に加えられる回転方向の力をエンドプレートで受けることができ、固定部の強度が増し、固定部でのバスバと外部端子ケーブルとの締結力を向上できる。
図1は本発明の第1の実施の形態に係る組電池の外観斜視図である。図2は図1の組電池の分解外観斜視図である。ただし図2では一部を省略してある。
端ホルダの固定部の形状は限定的ではなく、図3に示したように曲面部Aを有してもよいし、あるいは図4に示すように曲面部がない矩形であってもよい。しかしながら、端バスバと外部端子ケーブルを締結するときの回転トルクをエンドプレートにより伝えて固定部の安定性を強固にするためには、固定部は曲面部をもたない矩形の方が好ましい。図5に示すように、固定部の幅Lwと固定部の突出長さLhが等しい場合に矩形の方が、固定部とエンドプレートとの接触面積を大きく取れるためである(曲面部を有す構造の場合の接触面積S1、矩形の場合の接触面積S2とするとき、S2>S1)。また、固定部の位置は限定的ではなく、図3と図4に示すように、端バスバを接続する電極端子に対抗する位置でもよいし、あるいは、図6に示すように二つの電極端子の中央の位置でもよい。前者の位置に固定部を設ける場合、固定部と電極端子の距離が短いので端バスバを短くして、配線抵抗を軽減することができる。また前者の場合、組電池を構成する電池の数が偶数の場合に、二種の端ホルダが必要となるが、後者の位置に固定部を設ける場合、端ホルダの形状を一種にすることができる。
図7は本発明の第二の実施形態による組電池を示した概略図である。図8は図7の組電池の分解外観斜視図である。本実施形態による組電池は、サイドフレームとエンドプレートを除いて、第一の実施形態による組電池と同一な構造を有し、そのためこの図を参照して説明することで同一な構造に対する重複説明を省略する。

Claims (7)
- 電極端子を有する複数のセルを積層させた電池群と、前記電池群の端部に配置された板状部材と、前記板状部材と電池群との間に配置されるセルホルダを備えた組電池において、
前記セルホルダには当該組電池の端子固定部が設けられ、前記板状部材は前記端子固定部と重なる重なり部を有することを特徴とする組電池。 - 請求項1に記載の組電池において、
前記板状部材は、エンドプレートであることを特徴とする組電池。 - 請求項1に記載の組電池において、
前記板状部材は筐体の一部であることを特徴とする組電池。 - 請求項2または3のいずれかに記載の組電池において、
前記端子固定部は矩形形状をしていることを特徴とする組電池。 - 請求項2乃至4のいずれかに記載の組電池において、
前記端子固定部にはボルトの頭部、又はナットがインサートモールドされていることを特徴とする組電池。 - 請求項2乃至5のいずれかに記載の組電池において、
前記端子固定部は、前記セルホルダ上であって、前記セルの外部端子と対向した位置に配置されることを特徴とする組電池。 - 請求項2乃至5のいずれかに記載の組電池において、
前記端子固定部は、前記セルホルダの中央部に配置されることを特徴とする組電池。
