Abstract
Description
[1]下記成分:
(A)非シリコーン系界面活性剤;
(B)鉱油及び(C)シリカを含む消泡剤;並びに
(D)基剤
を含有する自動車用エンジン冷却液組成物であって、
基剤(D)が、一価アルコール、二価アルコール、三価アルコール及びグリコールモノアルキルエーテルからなる群から選ばれる少なくとも1種のアルコール類及び/又は水からなり、
動粘度が、25℃で8.5mm2/秒以上であり、かつ100℃で2.0mm2/秒以下であり、
冷却液組成物100質量部に対して、鉱油(B)の含有量が0.01〜0.4質量部であり、シリカ(C)の含有量が0.003〜0.1質量部である、上記冷却液組成物。
[2]更に(E)シリコーン系オイル若しくはシリコーン系オイルコンパウンド及び(F)ポリエーテル変性シリコーンを含有する、上記[1]に記載の冷却液組成物。
[3]冷却液組成物100質量部に対して、シリコーン系オイル若しくはシリコーン系オイルコンパウンド(E)及びポリエーテル変性シリコーン(F)の含有量の合計が、0.05質量部以上である、上記[2]に記載の冷却液組成物。
[4]成分(E)の含有量が、冷却液組成物100質量部に対して、0.001〜1質量部であり、
成分(F)の含有量が、冷却液組成物100質量部に対して、0.001〜10質量部である、上記[2]又は[3]に記載の冷却液組成物。
[5]シリコーン系オイル若しくはシリコーン系オイルコンパウンド(E)とポリエーテル変性シリコーン(F)との質量比が9:1〜1:9である、上記[2]〜[4]のいずれかに記載の冷却液組成物。
[6]基剤(D)が有機溶剤を含む、上記[1]〜[5]のいずれかに記載の冷却液組成物。
[7]上記[1]〜[6]のいずれかに記載の冷却液組成物を得るための自動車用エンジン濃縮冷却液組成物であって、基剤を用いて2〜10質量倍に希釈されて用いられる、上記濃縮冷却液組成物。
[8]濃縮冷却液組成物100質量部に対して、下記成分:
(A)非シリコーン系界面活性剤:0.02〜99.98質量部;
(B)鉱油及び(C)シリカを含む消泡剤:0.02〜20質量部;
(D’)溶剤:0〜99.8質量部;
(E)シリコーン系オイル若しくはシリコーン系オイルコンパウンド:0.002〜10質量部;並びに
(F)ポリエーテル変性シリコーン:0.002〜90質量部
を含有する、上記[7]に記載の濃縮冷却液組成物。
[9]上記[1]〜[6]のいずれかに記載の冷却液組成物を冷却液として用いる、内燃機関の運転方法。
Rbは、エチレン基又はプロピレン基であり、
pは、RbOの平均付加モル数を示し、0.5以上かつ20以下の数である]
で表される化合物であることが好ましい。
Rcは、直鎖状又は分岐鎖状の炭素原子数16以上かつ24以下のアルキル基又はアルケニル基であり、
Rdは、エチレン基又はプロピレン基であり、
qは、RdOの平均付加モル数を示し、0.5以上かつ10以下の数であり、
Mは、陽イオン又は水素原子である。]
で表される化合物であることが好ましい。
Rは、互いに独立して、置換若しくは非置換の一価炭化水素基であり;
mは、1.9〜2.2の数である。]
で表されるものであることが好ましい。オルガノポリシロキサン(E1)とは本質的に疎水性である。オルガノポリシロキサン(E1)とは直鎖状又は分岐状のいずれであってもよい。オルガノポリシロキサン(E1)は、1種を単独で使用しても、2種以上を併用してもよい。
R1は、互いに同一又は異なる、置換若しくは非置換の炭素数1〜18の一価炭化水素基であり;
R2は、下記一般式(5):
R4は、炭素数2〜6の二価炭化水素基であり;
R5は、水素原子、又は炭素数1〜6のアルキル基、アセチル基及びイソシアン基からなる群より選択される一価の有機基であり;
aは正数であり、bは0又は正数であり、a及びbは、2≦a+b≦80、かつ、b/a=0〜4を満たす。)
で表される一価の有機基であり;
R3は、R1又はR2として挙げた上記基、水酸基、又は炭素数1〜6のアルコキシ基であり;
xは、3〜200の整数であり;
yは、1〜60の整数である。]
で表されるポリオキシアルキレン変性オルガノポリシロキサンであることが好ましく、これによりシリコーン系オイル又はシリコーン系オイルコンパウンド(E)を前述した基剤(D)に分散させることができる。
(A)非シリコーン系界面活性剤:0.02〜99.98質量部;
(B)鉱油及び(C)シリカを含む消泡剤:0.02〜20質量部、好ましくは0.04〜10質量部;
(D’)溶剤:0〜99.8質量部;
(E)シリコーン系オイル若しくはシリコーン系オイルコンパウンド:0.002〜10質量部;並びに
(F)ポリエーテル変性シリコーン:0.002〜90質量部
を含有するものが挙げられる。
下記表1に示す処方の材料を添加し、撹拌・混合してLLCを作製した。表1中、防錆剤として小倉合成工業株式会社製のセバシン酸、pH調整剤として株式会社大阪ソーダ製の苛性カリを使用した。
下記表2に記載のシリコーン系消泡剤又は消泡剤、非シリコーン系界面活性剤(A)(粘度特性改良剤)としてポリオキシエチレンアルキルエーテル硫酸エステル塩(式(2)のRcが直鎖状の炭素数22のアルキル基、Rdがエチレン基、qが4、Mがナトリウム)及び水を、表2に記載の配合量(質量部)でLLCに合計が100質量部となるように混合し、実施例1〜7の冷却液組成物及び比較例1〜13の冷却液組成物を作製した。ここで、ポリオキシエチレンアルキルエーテル硫酸エステル塩は以下のように合成した。
外部ジャケットを有す薄膜式硫酸化反応器を使用し、炭素数22を主とする高級アルコール(花王株式会社製、商品名;カルコール220−80)のアルコールのエトキシレート(平均エチレンオキサイド付加モル数4.0)を5.0L/hの供給速度で薄膜状に流下するとともに、乾燥空気で希釈した三酸化硫黄ガス(三酸化硫黄ガス濃度:1.1容量%)を、反応器冷却温度40℃、供給速度130L/min(三酸化硫黄/エトキシレートのモル比:1.00)の条件で加えて硫酸化反応を行った。
得られた冷却液組成物について下記評価試験を行った。
<1.粘度特性への影響試験>
JIS K2283に基づき、25℃の動粘度を測定した。冷却液組成物の25℃における動粘度が、8.5mm2/s以上である場合を良好であると評価した。
<2.粘度特性への影響試験>
JIS K2283に基づき、100℃の動粘度を測定した。冷却液組成物の100℃における動粘度が、2.0mm2/s以下である場合を良好であると評価した。
<3.高温での消泡性評価試験>
JIS K2234の泡立ち性試験を、液温90℃で希釈せずに実施し、泡の体積が4mL以下の場合を「良好」と評価した。
<4.耐久性試験>
耐久性試験(100℃×500時間)を行った後、上記3の高温での消泡性評価試験を実施し、泡の体積が4mL以下の場合を「良好」と評価した。
結果を下記表2−1〜2−3に示す。
Claims (9)
- 下記成分:
(A)非シリコーン系界面活性剤;
(B)鉱油及び(C)シリカを含む消泡剤;並びに
(D)基剤
を含有する自動車用エンジン冷却液組成物であって、
基剤(D)が、一価アルコール、二価アルコール、三価アルコール及びグリコールモノアルキルエーテルからなる群から選ばれる少なくとも1種のアルコール類及び/又は水からなり、
動粘度が、25℃で8.5mm2/秒以上であり、かつ100℃で2.0mm2/秒以下であり、
冷却液組成物100質量部に対して、鉱油(B)の含有量が0.01〜0.4質量部であり、シリカ(C)の含有量が0.003〜0.1質量部である、上記冷却液組成物。 - 更に(E)シリコーン系オイル若しくはシリコーン系オイルコンパウンド及び(F)ポリエーテル変性シリコーンを含有する、請求項1に記載の冷却液組成物。
- 冷却液組成物100質量部に対して、シリコーン系オイル若しくはシリコーン系オイルコンパウンド(E)及びポリエーテル変性シリコーン(F)の含有量の合計が、0.05質量部以上である、請求項2に記載の冷却液組成物。
- 成分(E)の含有量が、冷却液組成物100質量部に対して、0.001〜1質量部であり、
成分(F)の含有量が、冷却液組成物100質量部に対して、0.001〜10質量部である、請求項2又は3に記載の冷却液組成物。 - シリコーン系オイル若しくはシリコーン系オイルコンパウンド(E)とポリエーテル変性シリコーン(F)との質量比が9:1〜1:9である、請求項2〜4のいずれか1項に記載の冷却液組成物。
- 基剤(D)が有機溶剤を含む、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の冷却液組成物。
- 請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の冷却液組成物を得るための自動車用エンジン濃縮冷却液組成物であって、基剤を用いて2〜10質量倍に希釈されて用いられる、上記濃縮冷却液組成物。
- 濃縮冷却液組成物100質量部に対して、下記成分:
(A)非シリコーン系界面活性剤:0.02〜99.98質量部;
(B)鉱油及び(C)シリカを含む消泡剤:0.02〜20質量部;
(D’)溶剤:0〜99.8質量部;
(E)シリコーン系オイル若しくはシリコーン系オイルコンパウンド:0.002〜10質量部;並びに
(F)ポリエーテル変性シリコーン:0.002〜90質量部
を含有する、請求項7に記載の濃縮冷却液組成物。 - 請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の冷却液組成物を冷却液として用いる、内燃機関の運転方法。
