Abstract
Description
工作機械の加工テーブルなどのすべり案内面用の潤滑油には、加工精度を向上させるために低摩擦性能や耐スティックスリップ性能等が要求されている。昨今の工作機械においては特に工作精度に対する要求が高まっており、工作精度に重要な影響を与える低速領域における摩擦低減を実現するために、リン酸エステル化合物やアミン化合物など多くの添加剤が検討されてきた。
しかしながら工作機械の加工精度向上のために、すべり案内面用潤滑油に更なる性能向上が求められているのが現状であり、低速領域における摩擦係数を更に低減することが望まれている。
潤滑油基油の40℃での動粘度が150mm2/sを超える場合は、粘性抵抗のため機械効率が悪化し、一方、その動粘度が10mm2/s未満の場合は、潤滑箇所での油膜形成が不十分であるため潤滑性に劣り、また潤滑油基油の蒸発損失が大きくなるため、それぞれ好ましくない。
炭素数が8未満では、潤滑油基油に対する溶解性が低下し、また耐摩耗性が劣るため好ましくない。また、炭素数が18を超えると、摩擦係数の低減効果を損なうため好ましくない。
含有量が0.001質量%未満だと、摩擦係数の低減効果の発現が不十分であり好ましくない。一方、0.1質量%を超えると耐腐食性が不十分となる恐れがあり好ましくない。

炭化水素基の炭素数は8〜24、好ましくは8〜22である。炭素数を8以上にすることで潤滑油基油に対する十分な溶解性を確保できる。他方、炭素数が24を超えると、単位質量あたりの効果が落ちるため好ましくない。
また、一般式(4)で示されるサルコシン酸誘導体の具体例としては、例えば下記で示されるN−メチル−N−(1−オキソ−9−オクタデセニル)グリシンなどが挙げられる。

(C)成分の含有量が、0.01質量%未満だと、摩擦係数の低減効果を損なうため好ましくない。また含有量が0.1質量%以上だと過剰添加となり、やはり摩擦係数の低減効果を損なうため好まない。
かかる添加剤としては、例えば、ヒンダートフェノール等の酸化防止剤;カルシウムスルホネート等の金属系清浄剤;ジエチレングリコールモノアルキルエーテル等の湿潤剤;アクリルポリマー、パラフィンワックス、マイクロワックス、スラックワックス、ポリオレフィンワックス等の造膜剤;脂肪酸アミン塩等の水置換剤;グラファイト、フッ化黒鉛、二硫化モリブデン、窒化ホウ素、ポリエチレン粉末等の固体潤滑剤;アミン、アルカノールアミン、アミド等の腐食防止剤;ベンゾトリアゾール、チアジアゾール等の金属不活性化剤;メチルシリコーン、フルオロシリコーン、ポリアクリレート等の消泡剤;アルケニルコハク酸イミド、ベンジルアミン、ポリアルケニルアミンアミノアミド等の無灰分散剤;等が挙げられる。
これらの公知の添加剤を併用する場合の含有量は特に制限されないが、これらの公知の添加剤の合計含有量が潤滑油組成物全量基準で10質量%以下となるような量で添加するのが好ましい。
また本発明の潤滑油組成物は耐摩耗性にも優れることから、耐摩耗性が要求される様々な用途でも好適に使用でき、たとえば、油圧作動油、工業用ギヤ油、軸受油、圧縮機油等の用途においても好ましく使用することができる。
表1に各種の潤滑油基油及び添加剤の配合量と性能を記載した。潤滑油基油の添加量(質量%)は基油全量基準であり、各添加剤の添加量(質量%)は潤滑油組成物全量基準である。得られた各組成物について、摩擦係数を以下試験により評価した。
工作機械のすべり案内面を模擬した摩擦性能評価装置を使用した。荷重84.3Nの一定荷重で面圧を0.22Mpaとし、低速すべり時(1.6×10−3mm/min)における摩擦係数を測定した。
Claims (4)
- (A)潤滑油基油に、(B)酸性リン酸エステルを組成物全量基準でリン量として0.001質量%以上0.1質量%以下、および(C)カルボン酸および/またはカルボン酸のグリセリンモノエステルを組成物全量基準で0.01質量%以上0.1質量%未満含有し、かつ(B)成分のモル含有量Mbと(C)成分のモル含有量Mcの比(Mc/Mb)が0.05以上0.5以下であることを特徴とする潤滑油組成物。
- 工作機械のすべり案内面に用いられることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の潤滑油組成物。
