Abstract
Description
上記負極は、金属箔である負極集電体と、上記負極集電体の主面に形成された負極活物質層とを有する。
上記正極は、金属箔である正極集電体と、上記正極集電体の主面に形成された正極活物質層とを有する。
上記負極端子は、金属からなり、上記負極集電体の主面に接合された部分である接合部を有する。
上記セパレータは、上記正極と上記負極を絶縁する。
上記電解液は、上記正極と上記負極と上記セパレータを浸漬する。
上記正極、上記負極及び上記セパレータは積層されて捲回され、上記セパレータが上記正極と上記負極を隔てている。
上記負極は、捲回中心軸に平行な方向に沿って第1の幅を有する。
上記正極は、捲回中心軸に平行な方向に沿って上記第1の幅より小さい第2の幅を有する。
上記セパレータは、捲回中心軸に平行な方向に沿って上記第1の幅より大きい第3の幅を有する。
上記接合部の捲回中心軸に平行な方向に沿った長さが上記第2の幅以上であり、上記第3の幅以下である。
上記接合部は、上記負極未形成領域において上記負極集電体に接合され、
上記負極未形成領域は、捲回中心軸に平行な方向に沿って上記第1の幅を有してもよい。
図1は、本実施形態に係る電気化学デバイス100の構成を示す斜視図である。同図に示すように電気化学デバイス100は、蓄電素子110が容器120(蓋及び端子は図示略)に収容されて構成されている。容器120内には、蓄電素子110と共に電解液が収容されている。
上記のように、接合部131bの長さLは正極140の幅である第2の幅D2以上であり、セパレータ150の幅である第3の幅D3以下である。この効果について、比較例との上で説明する。
上記実施形態において、負極未形成領域130aは、Z方向に沿って第1の幅D1を有するとしたが、第1の幅D1より小さい幅を有してもよい。図16及び図17は、変形例に係る負極未形成領域130aを示す模式図である。これらの図に示すように、負極未形成領域130aのZ方向に沿った幅を第4の幅D4とすると、第4の幅D4は第1の幅D1より小さく第2の幅D2より大きい幅とすることができる。この構造であっても負極端子131による負極130と正極140の距離の差異が生じず、蓄電素子110の構造を均一化することが可能である。

Claims (3)
- 金属箔である負極集電体と、前記負極集電体の主面に形成された負極活物質層とを有する負極と、
金属箔である正極集電体と、前記正極集電体の主面に形成された正極活物質層とを有する正極と、
金属からなり、前記負極集電体の主面に接合された部分である接合部を有する負極端子と、
前記正極と前記負極を絶縁するセパレータと、
前記正極と前記負極と前記セパレータを浸漬する電解液と
を具備し、
前記正極、前記負極及び前記セパレータは積層されて捲回され、前記セパレータが前記正極と前記負極を隔てている電気化学デバイスであって、
前記負極は、捲回中心軸に平行な方向に沿って第1の幅を有し、
前記正極は、捲回中心軸に平行な方向に沿って前記第1の幅より小さい第2の幅を有し、
前記セパレータは、捲回中心軸に平行な方向に沿って前記第1の幅より大きい第3の幅を有し、
前記接合部の捲回中心軸に平行な方向に沿った長さが前記第2の幅以上であり、前記第3の幅以下である
