Claims (6)
- ソレノイド本体と、
該ソレノイド本体内に引き込まれた吸着位置と、前記ソレノイド本体から突出した復帰位置とに選択配置されるプランジャーと、
前記ソレノイド本体内に配置され、電圧の印加により前記プランジャーを前記復帰位置から前記吸着位置に移動させる力を発生させる吸引用コイルと、
前記ソレノイド本体内に配置され、電圧の印加により前記プランジャーを前記吸着位置に移動させる力であって前記吸引用コイルよりも小さい力を発生させる保持用コイルと、
前記プランジャーを前記復帰位置方向に付勢する付勢部材と、
を備え、
前記プランジャーを前記復帰位置から前記吸着位置へ移動させる吸着動作を行う際、前記保持用コイルへの電圧の印加を開始した後に前記吸引用コイルへの電圧の印加を開始することを特徴とするソレノイド装置。 - 前記吸着動作の完了後、前記吸引用コイルへの電圧の印加を遮断するとともに、前記保持用コイルへの電圧の印加を継続することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のソレノイド装置。
- 前記プランジャーを前記吸着位置から前記復帰位置へ移動させる復帰動作を行う際、前記保持用コイルへの電圧の印加を遮断した後、前記復帰動作の完了直前に前記保持用コイルに再び電圧を印加することを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2に記載のソレノイド装置。
- 前記保持用コイルを形成するコイル線は、前記吸引用コイルを形成するコイル線に比べて電気抵抗が大きいことを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項3のいずれかに記載のソレノイド装置。
- 請求項1乃至請求項4のいずれかに記載のソレノイド装置と、
該ソレノイド装置に印加する電圧を制御する制御部と、
前記ソレノイド装置の前記プランジャーにより駆動される可動部材と、
を備えた画像形成装置。 - 前記可動部材は、記録媒体の搬送路を切り替える切り替えガイドであることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の画像形成装置。
