Abstract
【解決手段】加熱端を走査させ、被転写物に対して金属箔を所定形状に転写する箔転写装置で使用するデータを作成するためのプログラムであって、コンピュータに、前記加熱端を走査するための走査経路を前記所定形状の輪郭に沿って作成させる際、前記輪郭に鋭角部分が含まれている場合には、当該鋭角部分を左右均等な先細形状の曲線で置換させるためのプログラム。

本明細書の記載により、少なくとも、以下の事項が明らかとなる。
図1〜図6を参照して、実施形態について説明する。
箔転写装置1は、加熱端を走査させ、被転写物に対して金属箔を所定形状に転写する。図1に示すように、箔転写装置1は、台座10、レーザー照射部11、駆動機構12、制御部13、操作部14を含む。箔転写装置1は、外部のコンピュータ2と通信可能に接続されている。箔転写装置1自体がコンピュータ2の機能を有していてもよい。
コンピュータ2は、被転写物に箔転写する文字等(所定形状)の輪郭に沿った走査経路のデータを作成して箔転写装置1に転送する。コンピュータ2は、たとえば一般的なパーソナルコンピュータを使用することができる。走査経路の作成処理は所定のプログラム(後述)を用いて実行する。
本実施形態に係るプログラムは、コンピュータ2に対し、箔転写装置1において金属箔を所定形状に箔転写するために、レーザー照射部11を走査する走査経路を作成させる。
置換する曲線の形状は、円または放物線のように、左右均等な先細形状の曲線であれば様々な形状を用いることができる。より好ましくは、正規分布の確率密度関数に基づく近似曲線である。このような近似曲線を用いることにより、描かれた所定形状により近い形状の走査経路を作成することができる。このような走査経路に基づいて箔転写を行うことにより、描かれた所定形状をより正確に再現できる。
鋭角部分を形成する輪郭のうち、曲線で置換する範囲の決定は、たとえば、以下のように行う。以下の処理は、本実施形態に係るプログラムに基づく。図4A〜図4Dは、所定形状の輪郭のうち、鋭角部分を拡大した図である。図4A〜図4Dでは、鋭角をなす輪郭を辺S1及び辺S2としている。
次に、図5を参照して本実施形態に係るコンピュータ2による走査経路の作成処理、及び箔転写装置1による箔転写の処理例について述べる。図5は、処理例を示すフローチャートである。

Claims (7)
- 加熱端を走査させ、被転写物に対して金属箔を所定形状に転写する箔転写装置で使用するデータを作成するためのプログラムであって、
コンピュータに、
前記加熱端を走査するための走査経路を前記所定形状の輪郭に沿って作成させる際、前記輪郭に鋭角部分が含まれている場合には、当該鋭角部分を左右均等な先細形状の曲線で置換させるためのプログラム。 - 前記左右均等な先細形状の曲線は、正規分布の確率密度関数に基づく近似曲線であることを特徴とする請求項1記載のプログラム。
- 前記プログラムは、コンピュータに、
前記所定形状の輪郭から前記鋭角部分の頂点を検出させ、
鋭角をなす第1の辺及び第2の辺の前記頂点からの長さを求めさせ、
前記鋭角部分から前記頂点を含む二等辺三角形を切り出させ、
切り出した前記二等辺三角形に相当する部分を前記曲線で置換させることを特徴とする請求項1または2記載のプログラム。 - 前記加熱端は、レーザー光を照射するレーザー照射部であり、
切り出した前記二等辺三角形の各辺の長さは、前記レーザー光の光径より長いことを特徴とする請求項3記載のプログラム。 - 前記加熱端は、前記被転写物及び前記金属箔に対して熱を加える加熱ヘッド部であり、
切り出した前記二等辺三角形の各辺の長さは、前記加熱ヘッド部の直径より長いことを特徴とする請求項3記載のプログラム。 - 請求項1〜5のいずれか一つに記載のプログラムによって作成された走査経路のデータに基づいて、前記加熱端を走査させる箔転写装置。
- 箔転写装置の加熱端を走査させ、被転写物に対して金属箔を所定形状に転写する箔転写方法であって、
前記加熱端を走査するための走査経路を所定形状の輪郭に沿って作成させる際、前記輪郭に鋭角部分が含まれている場合には、当該鋭角部分を左右均等な先細形状の曲線で置換させ、
前記鋭角部分が置換された走査経路に基づいて前記加熱端を走査させる箔転写方法。
