Description
Claims (8)
- 作動流体が封入されたシリンダと、
前記シリンダ内に摺動自在に設けられ、前記シリンダ内を伸側室と圧側室とに区画するピストンと、
前記シリンダに進退自在に挿入されて前記ピストンに連結されたピストンロッドと、
前記シリンダ内の一方の端部に設けられ前記ピストンロッドを摺動自在に支持するロッドガイドと、を備え、
前記ロッドガイドは、
前記伸側室に面して前記シリンダの内周面に取り付けられるリテーナと、
前記ピストンロッドを摺動自在に支持するベアリングと、
前記ベアリングと前記リテーナとの間に設けられるメインシールと、
前記ベアリングと前記リテーナとによって軸方向に圧縮された状態で前記メインシールの径方向外側に設けられて、前記メインシールを前記ピストンロッドの外周面に押圧するシールホルダと、を有することを特徴とするショックアブソーバ。 - 前記メインシールは、前記ピストンロッドの中心軸に対して傾斜するテーパ面を有し、
前記シールホルダは、径方向外側から前記テーパ面に接触することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のショックアブソーバ。 - 前記メインシールは、
前記ピストンロッドの外周面に対向するシール本体部と、
前記シール本体部の一端部から径方向外側に延びるフランジ部と、を有し、
前記シールホルダは、
前記ベアリングとの間で前記フランジ部を挟むホルダ本体部と、
前記メインシールの前記シール本体部に径方向外側から接触するホルダ当接部と、
を有し、
前記メインシールと前記シールホルダとの間には、前記シール本体部、前記フランジ部、前記ホルダ本体部、及び前記ホルダ当接部によって囲まれた内部空間が形成されることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載のショックアブソーバ。 - 前記ベアリングは、前記リテーナとの間で前記メインシール及び前記シールホルダを収容する収容空間を形成する凹部を有し、
前記凹部は、前記ピストンロッドの軸方向に垂直な第1底面及び第2底面を有し、
前記第1底面は、前記リテーナとの間で前記フランジ部及び前記ホルダ本体部を軸方向に圧縮し、
前記第2底面は、前記リテーナとの間で前記ホルダ本体部を軸方向に圧縮することを特徴とする請求項3に記載のショックアブソーバ。 - 前記リテーナは、
前記シールホルダに接触して前記ベアリングとの間で前記シールホルダを圧縮する接触部と、
前記シールホルダとは離間する非接触部と、を有することを特徴とする請求項1から4のいずれか一つに記載のショックアブソーバ。 - 前記接触部は、径方向に離間する環状の内側接触部及び外側接触部を有し、
前記非接触部は、前記内側接触部と前記外側接触部との間に設けられて前記シールホルダとの間に環状空間を区画し、
前記リテーナには、前記伸側室と前記環状空間とを連通する連通路が形成されることを特徴とする請求項5に記載のショックアブソーバ。 - 前記リテーナを前記シリンダの内周面に係止する係止具と、
前記係止具との間で前記ベアリング及び前記リテーナを介して前記シールホルダを軸方向に圧縮する圧縮部と、をさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項1から6のいずれか一つに記載のショックアブソーバ。 - 前記圧縮部は、前記シリンダの一端部から径方向内側にかしめられたかしめ部であることを特徴とする請求項7に記載のショックアブソーバ。
