Abstract
Description
1つ以上の信号ケーブル(205)と、
1つ以上の上記信号ケーブルに近接する柔軟性背骨部材(210)と
を具えている。このとき、上記柔軟性背骨部材は、上記信号ケーブルにストレスを与えない範囲で上記ケーブル・アセンブリの柔軟な変形を可能にするとともに、上記ケーブル・アセンブリの変形した形状を適切な範囲で維持できるように選択される。例えば、上記柔軟性背骨部材は、20AWG(American Wire Gauge:米国ワイヤゲージ規格)の銅製極軟鋼ワイヤの如きワイヤとしても良い。
1つ以上の信号ケーブルに近接して柔軟性背骨部材を配置するステップと、
上記柔軟性背骨部材を1つ以上の上記信号ケーブルに固定するステップと
を具えている。このとき、上記柔軟性背骨部材は、上記信号ケーブルにストレスを与えない範囲で上記ケーブル・アセンブリの柔軟な変形を可能にするとともに、上記ケーブル・アセンブリの変形した形状をある程度維持できるように選択される。
上記柔軟性背骨部材を1つ以上の上記信号ケーブルに固定するステップは、フレキシブル・ハウジングを用いて上記柔軟性背骨部材を1つ以上の上記信号ケーブルに固定することを特徴としている。
上記柔軟性背骨部材を1つ以上の上記信号ケーブルに固定するステップが、
1つ以上の上記信号ケーブルと上記柔軟性背骨部材とを一緒に熱収縮チューブに通すステップと、
上記熱収縮チューブを加熱するステップと
を有している。なお、上記熱収縮チューブは、フレキシブル・ハウジングとして機能する。

Claims (4)
- 1つ以上の信号ケーブルと、
1つ以上の上記信号ケーブルに近接する柔軟性背骨部材と
を具える電気試験プローブ用ケーブル・アセンブリ。 - 上記柔軟性背骨部材を1つ以上の上記信号ケーブルに固定するフレキシブル・ハウジングを更に具える請求項1記載の電気試験プローブ用ケーブル・アセンブリ。
- 1つ以上の上記信号ケーブル、上記柔軟性背骨部材及び上記フレキシブル・ハウジングを包囲するフレキシブル保護カバーを更に具える請求項2記載の電気試験プローブ用ケーブル・アセンブリ。
- 1つ以上の信号ケーブルに近接して柔軟性背骨部材を配置するステップと、
上記柔軟性背骨部材を1つ以上の上記信号ケーブルに固定するステップと
を具える電気試験プローブ用ケーブル・アセンブリの組み立て方法。
