Abstract
【解決手段】エアクリーナ(30)は、吸気系エア通路にエアを供給する第1吸い込み口(60)と、吸気系混合気通路にエアを供給する第2吸い込み口(62)とを有する。通路形成部材(70)は第2吸い込み口(62)に装着される。通路形成部材(70)によって形成される延長通路の通路長L2が110mm以上である。

Claims (10)
- 掃気工程において、先ず先導エアを燃焼室に供給し、次いでクランク室から供給される混合気を前記燃焼室に供給する層状掃気式2サイクル内燃エンジンであって、
前記先導エアをエンジン本体に供給するエア通路と、混合気を生成して該混合気を前記エンジン本体の前記クランク室に供給する混合気通路とを有する吸気装置と、
前記吸気装置の前記エア通路と前記混合気通路とを部分的に連通させる開口部とを有し、
前記混合気通路又は前記エア通路が前記エア通路又は前記混合気通路よりも長く、
前記混合気通路又は前記エア通路において、前記開口部の上流側の部分が、前記エア通路又は前記混合気通路の前記開口部の上流側の部分よりも110mm以上長いことを特徴とする層状掃気式2サイクル内燃エンジン。 - 前記混合気通路又は前記エア通路において、前記開口部の上流側の部分が、前記エア通路又は前記混合気通路の前記開口部の上流側の部分よりも120mm以上長い、請求項1に記載の層状掃気式2サイクル内燃エンジン。
- 前記混合気通路又は前記エア通路において、前記開口部の上流側の部分の通路長さと、前記エア通路又は前記混合気通路の前記開口部の上流側の部分の通路長さとの差の最大値が254mmである、請求項1又は2に記載の層状掃気式2サイクル内燃エンジン。
- 層状掃気式2サイクル内燃エンジンが気化器を含み、前記気化器が、前記混合気通路に燃料を供給するメインノズルを有し、
該メインノズルの近傍に前記開口部が位置している、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の層状掃気式2サイクル内燃エンジン。 - 掃気工程において先ず先導エアを燃焼室に供給し、次いで混合気を前記燃焼室に供給するエンジン本体と、
前記先導エア用のエアを前記エンジン本体に供給するエア通路と、
前記混合気を前記エンジン本体のクランク室に供給する混合気通路と、
該混合気通路に燃料を供給するメインノズルを備えた気化器と、
前記エア通路と前記混合気通路とを部分的に連通させる開口部とを有する層状掃気式2サイクル内燃エンジンに適用されるエアクリーナであって、
外気を濾過するエレメントと、
該エレメントで濾過された清浄エアを前記エア通路に供給する第1吸い込み口と、
前記エレメントで濾過された前記清浄エアを前記混合気通路に供給する第2吸い込み口と、
該第2吸い込み口又は第1吸い込み口に装着され、前記混合気通路又は前記エア通路を延長する通路形成部材とを有し、
該通路形成部材によって形成される延長通路の通路長が110mm以上であることを特徴とする層状掃気式2サイクル内燃エンジン用のエアクリーナ。 - 前記延長通路の通路長が120mm以上である、請求項5に記載の層状掃気式2サイクル内燃エンジン用のエアクリーナ。
- 前記開口部が前記気化器の前記メインノズルの近傍に位置している、請求項5又は6に記載の層状掃気式2サイクル内燃エンジン用のエアクリーナ。
- 前記開口部が前記気化器と前記エンジン本体との間に位置している、請求項5〜7のいずれか一項に記載の層状掃気式2サイクル内燃エンジン用のエアクリーナ。
- 掃気工程において、先ず先導エアを燃焼室に供給し、次いでクランク室から供給される混合気を前記燃焼室に供給する層状掃気式2サイクル内燃エンジンの吸気方法であって、
前記エンジンが、
エアクリーナエレメントで濾過した清浄エアをエンジン本体に供給するエア通路と、
前記清浄エアを気化器に供給して混合気を生成し、該混合気を前記エンジン本体の前記クランク室に供給する混合気通路と、
前記エア通路と前記混合気通路とを部分的に連通させる開口部とを有し、
前記開口部よりも上流側において、前記混合気通路又は前記エア通路が前記エア通路又は前記混合気通路よりも長く、
前記エア通路又は前記混合気通路のうち前記開口部よりも上流側の部分によって生成される第1圧力変動と、前記混合気通路又は前記エア通路のうち前記開口部よりも上流側の部分によって生成される第2圧力変動とを前記開口部で互いに干渉させて、前記開口部の近傍での圧力変動を小さくすることを特徴とする層状掃気式2サイクル内燃エンジンの吸気方法。 - 前記エンジンが高速回転する運転状態において、前記第1圧力変動と前記第2圧力変動とを前記開口部で互いに干渉させて、前記開口部の近傍での圧力変動を小さくする、請求項9に記載の層状掃気式2サイクル内燃エンジンの吸気方法。
