Abstract
Description
・様々なエラストマー改質、ベースポリマー(これは反応して架橋により被覆組成物になる)において、又は、未反応の添加物としてのどちらかであり、例えば、CTBNゴム、ブタジエン/スチレンゴム、ニトリルゴム、ネオプレンゴム、アクリルゴム、ブチルゴム、エチレン/プロピレン/ジエンゴム、ポリスルフィドゴム、ポリイソプレンゴム、シリコーンゴム及びウレタンゴムなど;
・いくらかの程度の内部可塑化を与え、FORTEGA(商標)製品(Dow Chemical Co.)によって例示され得るランダムコポリマー付加又はブロックコポリマー付加;
・可塑剤(例えば、エポキシ化ダイズ油など)の添加;
・コア部分又はシェル部分のどちらかを表す、様々な組成を有する架橋された、又は非架橋のコア/シェル樹脂(例えば、エポキシ、アクリル、ポリウレタンなど)。
・単純なモリブデン酸塩、例えば、モリブデン酸亜鉛、モリブデン酸ストロンチウムなど、並びに、複合モリブデン酸塩、例えば、モリブデン酸亜鉛カルシウム、リンモリブデン酸亜鉛カルシウム(例えば、MOLYWHITE(商標)MZAP)など;
・単純なクロム酸塩、例えば、クロム酸亜鉛、クロム酸バリウム、クロム酸ストロンチウム、クロム酸マグネシウム、クロム酸カルシウムなど、並びに、複合クロム酸塩、例えば、シリコクロム酸鉛、テトラオキシクロム酸亜鉛など;
・金属リン化物、例えば、リン化鉄(例えば、FERROPHOS(商標)リン化鉄、OCCIDENTAL CHEMICAL CORP.、Dallas、TX)など;
・ケイ酸塩、例えば、リンケイ酸亜鉛及びホウケイ酸カルシウムなど;及び
・単純なリン酸塩、例えば、リン酸鉄、リン酸亜鉛、ピロリン酸亜鉛、リン酸水素カルシウムなど、並びに、複合リン酸塩、例えば、ホウ酸オルトリン酸亜鉛、ポリリン酸アルミニウムストロンチウム、ポリリン酸アルミニウム亜鉛、オルトリン酸モリブデンアルミニウム亜鉛、オルトリン酸アルミニウム亜鉛など。
・アミン、これには、多官能性の脂肪族又は芳香族の第一級アミン又は第二級アミンが含まれ、例えば、ジシアンジアミド、ジアミノジフェニルスルホンなどが含まれる;
・自己架橋を促進させる第三級アミン、例えば、DMP30(Dow Chemical Co.)など;
・ホウ素トリハリド及びその塩、例えば、三フッ化ホウ素のモノエタノールアミン塩など;
・有機酸、例えば、VESTAGON(商標)B55及びVESTAGON(商標)B68(Degussa Corp.)など;
・二無水物及びポリ無水物、例えば、ベンゾフェノンテトラカルボン酸二水和物(BTDA)など;
・ジフェノール及びポリフェノール、例えば、メチレンジサリチル酸など;及び
・イミダゾール類、置換イミダゾール及びエポキシイミダゾール付加物、例えば、2−メチルイミダゾール又はDEH40(Dow Chemical Co.)など。
本発明の耐衝撃性かつ耐食性の被覆物を提供するために使用される様々な粉末組成物が、通常の様式で製造される。成分がブレンドされ、その後、樹脂の融点を超える短期間(例えば、30秒〜90秒)の加熱とともに、その結果、有意な架橋が生じないように溶融配合される。溶融配合物が押出しされ、押出し後、組成物は急冷される。その後、組成物は粉砕され、必要に応じて、微粒子がサイズに従って分けられる。静電被覆のためには、粒子は一般に、5ミクロン〜100ミクロンのサイズ範囲にあり、ただし、大部分が一般には20ミクロン〜50ミクロンのサイズ範囲にある。より大きな微粒子は流動床被膜操作のために有用である。
塗布技術
試験を、本発明のシングルコートシステムの成績を他の比較用システムと比較して評価するために行った。試験を、表2及び表3において特定されるような標準的な業界容認の試験方法を使用して行った。表4において、様々な試験の結果が示される:

Claims (15)
- 下記の成分:
・組成物の総重量に基づいて40wt%〜75wt%の1つ又はそれ以上のエポキシ樹脂(ただし、前記1つ又はそれ以上のエポキシ樹脂はEEWが700〜1500である);
・組成物の総重量に基づいて15wt%超の少なくとも1つの強化用繊維(ただし、前記少なくとも1つの強化用繊維はガラス繊維であり、かつ、ガラス繊維の量が35phr〜95phrである);及び
・組成物の総重量に基づいて0.1wt%〜5wt%の少なくとも1つの接着促進剤
を含む耐食性かつ耐衝撃性の粉末被覆組成物。 - 前記1つ又はそれ以上のエポキシ樹脂はEEWが730〜840である、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記1つ又はそれ以上のエポキシ樹脂はEEWが1150〜1300である、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記1つ又はそれ以上のエポキシ樹脂が、1000〜1300のEEWを有するエポキシ/CTBNゴム付加物である、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記1つ又はそれ以上のエポキシ樹脂が、730〜840のEEWを有する第1のエポキシ樹脂と、1150〜1300のEEWを有する第2のエポキシ樹脂とを含む、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記1つ又はそれ以上のエポキシ樹脂がさらに、1000〜1300のEEWを有するエポキシ/CTBNゴム付加物を含む、請求項5に記載の組成物。
- 前記少なくとも1つの接着促進剤が、SiO2に吸着された改質コポリマーである、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 少なくとも1つのフィラーをさらに含み、ただし、前記少なくとも1つのフィラーが、炭酸カルシウム、霞石閃長岩フィラー及びそれらの組合せからなる群から選択される、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記少なくとも1つの炭酸フィラーが組成物の総重量に基づいて1wt%〜10wt%の量で存在する、請求項8に記載の組成物。
- 少なくとも1つのフェノール系硬化剤をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 1つ又はそれ以上のワックスをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 鋼下地を被覆するための方法であって、
・組成物の総重量に基づいて40wt%〜75wt%の少なくとも1つのエポキシ樹脂、組成物の総重量に基づいて15wt%超の少なくとも1つの強化用繊維(ただし、前記少なくとも1つの強化用繊維はガラス繊維であり、かつ、ガラス繊維の量が35phr〜95phrである)、及び、組成物の総重量に基づいて0.1wt%〜5wt%の少なくとも1つの接着促進剤を含む耐食性かつ耐衝撃性の粉末被覆組成物を含むシングルコート粉末被覆システムを適用すること、及び
・前記粉末被覆組成物を、該組成物を融着させるために十分である効果的な温度及び効果的な時間にまで加熱すること
を含む方法。 - 前記下地が高張力鋼コイルバネである、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 単層粉末被覆システムにより被覆される鋼下地であって、前記単層粉末被覆システムが下記の成分を含む耐食性かつ耐衝撃性の粉末被覆組成物を含む、鋼下地。
・組成物の総重量に基づいて40wt%〜75wt%の少なくとも1つのエポキシ樹脂(ただし、前記少なくとも1つのエポキシ樹脂はEEWが700〜1300である);
・組成物の総重量に基づいて15wt%超の少なくとも1つの強化用繊維(ただし、前記少なくとも1つの強化用繊維はガラス繊維であり、かつ、ガラス繊維の量が35phr〜95phrである);
・組成物の総重量に基づいて0.1wt%〜5wt%の少なくとも1つの少なくとも1つの接着促進剤 - 前記下地が高張力鋼コイルバネである、請求項14に記載の下地。
