Abstract
Description
− 酸化物の重量で1〜15%の間に含まれる割合、好ましくは酸化物の重量で5〜15%の間に含まれる割合の酸化ケイ素;および
− 酸化物の重量で1〜20%の間に含まれる割合、好ましくは酸化物の重量で5〜15%の間に含まれる割合の酸化チタン
を含むセリウム複合酸化物に関する。
− 好ましくは酸化物の重量で60〜95%の間に含まれる割合の、酸化セリウム;
− 酸化物の重量で1〜15%の間に含まれる割合、好ましくは酸化物の重量で5〜15%の間に含まれる割合の、酸化ケイ素;
− 酸化物の重量で1〜20%の間に含まれる割合、好ましくは酸化物の重量で5〜15%の間に含まれる割合の、酸化チタン;および
− 酸化物の重量で1〜15%の間に含まれる割合、好ましくは酸化物の重量で1〜10%の間に含まれる割合の、酸化セリウム以外の、希土類元素酸化物
を含む。
本発明の複合酸化物は、いくつかの可能な方法によって得られてもよい。
(a)好ましくはそのセリウムイオンの少なくとも90モル%が4価である、セリウム溶液を供給する工程と、
(b)工程(a)から得られた前記セリウム溶液を最高60℃まで、および60℃以上で加熱および維持する工程と、
(c)前記加熱および維持によって得られたセリウム懸濁液に沈殿剤を添加して、沈殿物を得る工程と、
(d)前記沈殿物を焼成して、酸化セリウムを得る工程と、
(e)前記焼成によって得られた前記酸化セリウムに、酸化ケイ素前駆体および酸化チタン前駆体の溶液を含浸させる工程と、
(f)前記酸化ケイ素前駆体および酸化チタン前駆体の溶液を含浸させた前記酸化セリウムを焼成する工程と
を含む、組成物を製造する方法によって得られてもよい。
(A)好ましくはそのセリウムイオンの90モル%以上が四価である、セリウム溶液を供給する工程と、
(B)工程(A)から得られた前記セリウム溶液を最高で60℃までにおよび60℃以上で加熱および維持する工程と、
(C)前記加熱および維持によって得られたセリウム懸濁液に、酸化ケイ素前駆体および酸化チタン前駆体の溶液を添加する工程と、
(D)前記酸化ケイ素前駆体および酸化タチン前駆体を含有する前記セリウム懸濁液を、最高100℃まで、および100℃以上で加熱および維持する工程と、
(E)前記加熱および維持によって得られた前記酸化ケイ素前駆体および酸化チタン前駆体を含有する前記セリウム懸濁液に沈殿剤を添加して、沈殿物を得る工程と、
F)前記沈殿物を焼成する工程と
を含む方法によって調製されてもよい。
本発明の複合酸化物は、触媒システムに使用されてもよい。これらの触媒システムは、例えば、金属またはセラミックモノリスタイプの基材上に、これらの組成物をベースとする、および触媒特性を有する、コーティング(ウォッシュコート)を含み得る。このようなモノリスタイプは、例えば、炭化ケイ素、コーディエライトまたはチタン酸アルミニウムをベースとするフィルタータイプであり得る。コーティングはそれ自体また、上述のもののタイプの担体を含むことができる。このコーティングは、複合酸化物を担体と混合することによって得て、基材上にその後堆積され得る懸濁液を形成する。
この実施例は、質量比で92.8:5.1:2.1の酸化セリウム、酸化ケイ素および酸化チタンの複合酸化物に関する。

この比較例は、実施例4における酸化ケイ素前駆体および酸化チタン前駆体の溶液による含浸前に、700℃で10時間の焼成により得た、酸化ケイ素および酸化チタンのない酸化セリウムに関する。

Claims (15)
- 少なくとも
− 酸化セリウムと;
− 酸化物の重量で1〜15%の間に含まれる割合の酸化ケイ素と;
− 酸化物の重量で1〜20%の間に含まれる割合の酸化チタンと
を含む、セリウム複合酸化物。 - 酸化ケイ素を、酸化物の重量で5〜15%の間に含まれる割合で含む、請求項1に記載のセリウム複合酸化物。
- 酸化チタンを、酸化物の重量で5〜15%の間に含まれる割合で含む、請求項1または2に記載のセリウム複合酸化物。
- 7以下のpHを示す、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載のセリウム複合酸化物であって、pHは、25℃で、3重量%のこの複合物を含む水溶液中で測定される、セリウム複合酸化物。
- 800℃で2時間焼成後、70〜120m2/gの間に含まれる比表面積を示す、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載のセリウム複合酸化物。
- 900℃で5時間焼成後、40〜85m2/gの間に含まれる比表面積を示す、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載のセリウム複合酸化物。
- 酸化セリウム以外の希土類元素酸化物を、酸化物の重量で1〜15%の間に含まれる割合、好ましくは酸化物の重量で1〜10%の間に含まれる割合で含む、請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載のセリウム複合酸化物。
- (a)セリウム溶液を供給する工程と、
(b)工程(a)から得られた前記セリウム溶液を、最高60℃まで、および60℃以上で加熱および維持する工程と、
(c)前記加熱および維持によって得られたセリウム懸濁液に沈殿剤を添加して、沈殿物を得る工程と、
(d)前記沈殿物を焼成して、酸化セリウムを得る工程と、
(e)前記焼成によって得られた前記酸化セリウムに、酸化ケイ素前駆体および酸化チタン前駆体の溶液を含浸する工程と、

を含む、請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載のセリウム複合酸化物を製造する方法。 - 希土類元素化合物が、工程(a)および/または工程(e)で添加され得る、請求項8に記載の方法。
- (A)セリウム溶液を供給する工程と、
(B)工程(A)から得られた前記セリウム溶液を最高60℃まで、および60℃以上で加熱および維持する工程と、
(C)前記加熱および維持によって得られたセリウム懸濁液に、酸化ケイ素前駆体および酸化チタン前駆体を添加する工程と、
(D)前記酸化ケイ素前駆体および酸化チタン前駆体を含有する前記セリウム懸濁液を、最高100℃まで、および100℃以上で加熱および維持する工程と、
