Abstract
Description
Claims (24)
- 眼の病態を治療するための手術システムであって、
ハンドピースと、
前記ハンドピースと流体連通し、流体を手術部位へ運ぶように構成される、灌注導管と、
前記ハンドピースと流体連通し、流体を前記手術部位から運び去るように構成される、吸引導管と、
前記吸引導管と接合するポンプであって、前記吸引導管内で真空圧を創成して、前記吸引導管を通して流体を引き出すように構成される、ポンプと、
前記吸引導管と流体連通し、前記吸引導管内の前記真空圧を逃すように構成される、真空逃し弁と、
前記手術部位と関連付けられる圧力を検出するように配置及び構成される圧力センサと、
中に記憶された圧力閾値を有し、前記真空逃し弁及び前記圧力センサと通信する制御装置であって、前記圧力センサにより検出された前記圧力が第1の圧力閾値より低い場合、前記吸引導管内の前記真空圧を減少させるために前記真空圧を部分的にのみ通気するように、前記真空逃し弁を制御するように構成され、かつ前記真空圧が眼で測定される−50mmHgより低い真空レベルに達する前に、前記真空圧の前記減少を停止させるように、前記真空逃し弁を制御するように構成される、制御装置と、を備える、システム。 - 前記圧力センサが、前記ハンドピース上に位置する、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記圧力センサが、前記灌注導管内の灌注圧力を検出するために前記灌注導管に沿って位置する灌注導管圧力センサである、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 通気貯槽、ならびに前記ポンプをバイパスし、前記吸引導管及び前記通気貯槽と流体連通するバイパス導管をさらに備え、前記真空逃し弁が、前記バイパス導管に沿って位置し、前記通気貯槽が、前記吸引導管と流体連通する、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記真空逃し弁が前記吸引導管内の前記真空圧を減少させるとき、前記真空逃し弁は、通気貯槽流体が前記バイパス導管に入ることを可能にするように構成される、請求項4に記載のシステム。
- 前記システムが、前記吸引導管に沿って位置する吸引圧力センサをさらに備え、前記吸引圧力センサが、前記吸引導管内の吸引圧力をモニターするように構成され、
前記制御装置が、前記吸引圧力センサと通信し、前記吸引真空圧が第2の圧力閾値より高い場合、前記吸引導管内の前記真空圧を減少させるように、前記真空逃し弁を制御するように構成される、請求項1に記載のシステム。 - 前記吸引圧力センサが、前記ポンプと前記手術部位との間に位置する、請求項6に記載のシステム。
- 前記センサが、前記手術部位から約12インチ(304.8ミリメートル)未満に配置される、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 吸引システムを操作する方法であって、
超音波水晶体乳化吸引術用ハンドピースと流体連通する吸引導管を通して流体を方向付けることと、
前記吸引導管と接合するポンプを用いて前記吸引導管内の真空圧を創成して、手術部位から前記吸引導管内へ吸引流体を引き出すことと、
圧力センサで前記手術部位と関連付けられる圧力を検出することと、
前記手術部位と関連付けられる前記圧力が第1の圧力閾値より低い場合、前記真空圧を部分的にのみ通気するように前記吸引導管内で、真空逃し弁を用いて、前記真空圧を逃すことであって、前記真空圧を逃すことは、約−50mmHgより高い前記真空圧を維持するように前記真空逃し弁を用いることを含む、逃すことと、を含む、方法。 - 前記圧力センサが、前記ハンドピース上に位置する、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記ハンドピースと流体連通する灌注導管を通して流体を方向付けることであって、前記圧力センサが、前記灌注導管圧力を検出する前記灌注導管に沿って位置する灌注圧力センサである、方向付けることをさらに含む、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記吸引導管に沿って位置する吸引圧力センサを用いて吸引圧力を検出することと、
前記吸引導管圧力センサから情報を受容することと、
前記吸引導管圧力を第2の圧力閾値と比較することと、
前記吸引導管圧力が前記第2の圧力閾値より高い場合、前記真空逃し弁を用いて、前記吸引導管内の前記真空圧を減少させることと、をさらに含む、請求項9に記載の方法。 - 制御装置で前記真空逃し弁を制御することであって、前記制御装置が、前記灌注圧力センサ及び前記吸引圧力センサに接続され、前記制御装置が、前記灌注圧力センサ及び前記吸引圧力センサから情報を受容するように構成される、制御することをさらに含む、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記真空逃し弁が、前記ポンプをバイパスして前記吸引導管及び通気貯槽と流体連通するバイパス導管上に位置し、前記通気貯槽が、前記吸引導管と流体連通する、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記真空逃し弁を特定の角度位置まで開放し、前記特定の角度位置に達したとき前記真空逃し弁を閉鎖する、制御装置で、前記真空逃し弁を制御することをさらに含む、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 吸引システムを操作する方法であって、
吸引導管と接合するポンプを用いて前記吸引導管内で真空圧を創成して、手術部位から前記吸引導管内へ流体を引き出すことと、圧力センサで前記手術部位と関連付けられる圧力を検出することと、
前記手術部位と関連付けられる前記圧力センサにより検出された前記圧力を、第1の圧力閾値と比較することと、
前記手術部位と関連付けられる前記圧力が前記第1の圧力閾値より低い場合、前記真空圧を部分的にのみ通気するように、前記吸引導管内の前記真空圧を制御するように真空逃し弁を開放し、一方で、前記真空圧を約−50mmHgより高い真空で維持するように前記真空逃し弁を用いることと、を含む、方法。 - 前記圧力センサが、前記ハンドピース上に位置する、請求項16に記載の方法。
- 前記圧力センサが、前記灌注導管圧力を検出するために灌注導管に沿って位置する灌注圧力センサである、請求項16に記載の方法。
- 前記吸引導管に沿って位置する吸引圧力センサで前記吸引導管圧力を検出することと、
前記吸引圧力センサからの情報を受容することと、
前記吸引導管圧力を第2の圧力閾値と比較することと、
前記吸引導管圧力が前記第2の圧力閾値より高い場合、所望の真空圧範囲内に入る前記吸引導管内の真空圧を創成するように、前記圧力逃し弁を閉鎖することと、をさらに含む、請求項16に記載の方法。 - 制御装置が、前記灌注圧力センサ及び前記吸引圧力センサからの前記情報を受容し、前記灌注圧力が前記第1の圧力閾値より低い場合、前記制御装置が前記吸引導管内の前記真空圧を制御するように前記真空逃し弁を開放し、前記吸引圧力が前記第2の圧力閾値より高い場合、前記制御装置が前記真空逃し弁を閉鎖する、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 前記真空逃し弁が、前記ポンプをバイパスして前記吸引導管及び通気貯槽と流体連通するバイパス導管上に位置し、前記通気貯槽が、前記吸引導管と流体連通する、請求項16に記載の方法。
- 前記サージ弁が開放された後、ある期間後に自動的に前記真空逃し弁を閉鎖することを含む、請求項16に記載の方法。
- 前記真空逃し弁の開閉が、前記弁を通る流動を増大させるための相対的開放、及び前記弁を通る流動を減少させるための相対的閉鎖を含む、請求項21に記載の方法。
- 前記真空逃し弁の開閉が、前記真空逃し弁を特定の角度位置まで開放することを含み、前記特定の角度位置に達したとき前記真空逃し弁を閉鎖することを含む、請求項16に記載の方法。
