Description
Claims (32)
- アディティブ・マニュファクチャリング・プロセスによって部品を製作する直接インクジェット印刷システムであって、
画定されたパターンに基づいて、インク送達システムから複数のノズルを通してインクを分注するように動作する印刷ヘッドと、
前記画定されたパターンに基づいて、前記分注されたインクを一度に1層ずつ受け取り、前記印刷ヘッドから分注される前記インクの複数の層から前記部品が形成される造形テーブルと、
前記印刷ヘッドから分注される前記インクの層に対して層ごとに乾燥プロセスを実行するように動作する乾燥ステーションと、
を備える前記システム。 - 前記造形テーブルが、前記印刷ヘッドが前記インクを分注する間に前記複数の層を走査するように、印刷方向および印刷直交方向に可動である、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記造形テーブルが、回転可能な造形プラットホームを含む、請求項1または2に記載のシステム。
- 前記造形テーブルが、前記乾燥ステーション内に層ごとに前進するように動作可能である、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載のシステム。
- 前記造形テーブルが、焼結炉内に配置されるように適合された取り外し可能なトレーを含む、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載のシステム。
- 前記造形テーブル上に位置決めされたマットを備え、前記マットが、前記分注された材料を受け取るように動作する、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載のシステム。
- 前記マットが、前記マット上に分注される前記インクの表面張力より高い表面張力を提供するように適合される、請求項6に記載のシステム。
- 前記マットがインクジェット用紙である、請求項6または7に記載のシステム。
- 前記乾燥ステーションが、
ハウジングと、
前記ハウジング内に前記造形テーブルを受け取る摺動ドアと、
前記ハウジング内の空気を循環させるように動作する送風機と、
前記送風機によって循環される前記空気を加熱するように動作する加熱ユニットと、
を備える、請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載のシステム。 - 前記乾燥ステーションが、前記造形テーブル上に分注される前記インク層上に高温の空気の噴流を当てるように動作する、請求項9に記載のシステム。
- 前記乾燥ステーションがノズル板を含み、前記高温の空気が前記ノズル板を通って噴射される、請求項10に記載のシステム。
- 2つの乾燥ステーションを備える、請求項1〜11のいずれか一項に記載のシステム。
- 造形材料を分注する第1の印刷ヘッドと、支持材料を分注する第2の印刷ヘッドとを備える、請求項1〜12のいずれか一項に記載のシステム。
- 前記印刷ヘッドによって分注される前記インクの粘性が、前記分注温度で10〜20cpsである、請求項1〜13のいずれか一項に記載のシステム。
- 前記インク送達システムが、前記インクを循環させるように動作する、請求項1〜14のいずれか一項に記載のシステム。
- 前記インクに、少なくとも1つの溶剤および1つの可溶性ポリマーが配合される、請求項1〜15のいずれか一項に記載のシステム。
- 前記印刷ヘッドによって分注される前記インクが、セラミック粉末、カプセル化された金属の極微粒子、および可溶性ポリマーの少なくとも1つが配合されたインクである、請求項1〜15のいずれか一項に記載のシステム。
- 前記インクが水性インクである、請求項17に記載のシステム。
- 前記インクが溶剤性インクである、請求項17に記載のシステム。
- 前記印刷ヘッドによって分注される前記インクが、焼結に適している、請求項1〜19のいずれか一項に記載のシステム。
- 前記インク送達システムが、重力に基づく循環で前記インクを循環させるように動作する、請求項1〜20のいずれか一項に記載のシステム。
- 複数の層を一度に平坦にするように動作するローラを備える、請求項1〜21のいずれか一項に記載のシステム。
- 前記ローラが、前記分注されたインクの方へ要求に応じて降下するように動作する、請求項22に記載のシステム。
- 前記システムの休止期間中には前記印刷ヘッドの位置に位置合わせされ、印刷中には前記印刷ヘッドから変位されるように動作可能な保守ステーションを備え、前記保守ステーションが、前記印刷ヘッド上に洗浄液を噴霧するように動作するノズルと、吸い取り紙とを備え、前記吸い取り紙を前記印刷ヘッドの方へ上昇させる機構を有する、請求項1〜23のいずれか一項に記載のシステム。
- アディティブ・マニュファクチャリング・プロセスによって部品を製作する直接インクジェット印刷方法であって、
前記部品を製作するように画定されたパターンに従って、セラミック粉末、カプセル化された金属の極微粒子、および可溶性ポリマーの少なくとも1つが配合されたインクの液滴を層単位で分注するステップと、
乾燥ステーション内で前記インクの液滴を層ごとに乾燥させるステップと、
を含む前記方法。 - 2ステップ・プロセスで層を印刷することを含み、前記2ステップ・プロセスの第1のステップが、印刷直交方向に1画素分の間隙をあけて、前記液滴の第1のアレイを印刷方向に走査することを含み、前記2ステップ・プロセスの第2のステップが、印刷直交方向に1画素分の間隙をあけて、前記液滴の第2のアレイを前記印刷方向に走査することを含み、前記第2のアレイが、前記第1のアレイによって形成される前記1画素分の間隙の少なくとも一部分を充填する、請求項25に記載の方法。
- 第1のステップおよび第2のステップのそれぞれの後に、前記乾燥ステーション内で前記インクの液滴を乾燥させるステップを含む、請求項26に記載の方法。
- 画定されたパターンに従って、製作中に前記部品を支持するための支持材料の液滴を層単位で分注するステップを含み、支持材料の液滴の層が、前記部品を製作するための対応する前記インクの液滴の層を形成した後に分注される、請求項26または27に記載の方法。
- 次の層を印刷する前に前記層を90度回転させるステップを含む、請求項25〜28のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記インクの液滴が、ノズルのアレイを含む印刷ヘッドによって分注され、前記印刷ヘッドが、次の層を印刷する前に、印刷直交方向に画素距離の2分の1変位される、請求項25〜29のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 複数の層のそれぞれを一度に平坦にするステップを含む、請求項25〜30のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記部品を焼結するステップを含む、請求項25〜31のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
