Claims (13)
- 連結されたインペラー(1)及びシャフト(2)であって、前記シャフトが、前記インペラーの対応するねじ部分にねじ込むねじを支持するねじ部分(7)を与える第一部分(2a)と、前記ねじ部分がともにねじ込まれて前記ねじを締め付け、前記インペラーと前記シャフトとの間の回転可能に固定された連結をもたらすときに、前記インペラーの対応する当接面に係合する当接面を与える第二部分(2b)とを有し、
前記第一部分が、ジョイントにて、前記第二部分に対して回転可能に固定されており、前記シャフトの前記ねじ部分が、前記シャフトの前記当接面から第一距離(d1)で軸方向に離れて位置し、前記シャフトの前記ねじ部分が、前記第一距離より大きい第二距離(d2)により、前記ジョイントから軸方向に離れて位置し、前記ジョイント及び前記シャフトの前記ねじ部分が、前記インペラーの同じ側にあり、
前記インペラーが、対応するねじ部分(12)及び対応する当接面を与えるコネクタ(3)を有し、前記コネクタが、前記インペラーの残部に対して回転可能に固定される、連結されたインペラー及びシャフト。 - 前記シャフトの前記第一部分が、前記シャフトの前記第二部分に形成された中央キャビティ(22)に位置するとともに、それから突出する細長い部材であり、前記シャフトの前記ねじ部分が、前記細長い部材の突出端部に設けられるとともに、前記ジョイントが、前記細長い部材の反対側の端部にある、請求項1に記載の連結されたインペラー及びシャフト。
- 前記シャフトの前記第二部分が、前記シャフトの前記第一部分上に支持されたスリーブであり、前記シャフトの前記当接面が、前記シャフトの前記ねじ部分に近い前記スリーブの端部にあるとともに、前記ジョイントが、前記シャフトの前記ねじ部分から遠いスリーブの端部にある、請求項1に記載の連結されたインペラー及びシャフト。
- 前記インペラーが、シャフト側のハブ延長部(H)を有し、前記コネクタの内向き表面が、前記ハブ延長部の半径方向外側表面と摩擦により連結する、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の連結されたインペラー及びシャフト。
- 前記コネクタの前記内向き表面と、前記ハブ延長部の前記半径方向外側表面との間の摩擦連結が、使用時に、前記シャフトと前記インペラーとの間の実質的に全てのトルクを伝達する、請求項4に記載の連結されたインペラー及びシャフト。
- 前記シャフト側のハブ延長部(H)が中央凹部を有し、前記コネクタが、当該凹部内に挿入される、請求項4又は5に記載の連結されたインペラー及びシャフト。
- 前記インペラーが、中央凹部を有するシャフト側のハブ延長部(H)を有し、前記コネクタが、当該凹部内に挿入されており、前記コネクタの外向き表面(14)が、前記ハブ延長部の半径方向内側表面と摩擦により連結する、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の連結されたインペラー及びシャフト。
- 前記インペラーが、前記シャフトの材料より大きい熱膨張係数を有する材料で形成されており、
前記コネクタが、前記シャフトの材料の熱膨張係数より大きい熱膨張係数を有する材料で形成される、
請求項7に記載の連結されたインペラー及びシャフト。 - αcを前記コネクタの熱膨張係数、αiを前記インペラーの熱膨張係数、αsを前記シャフトの熱膨張係数としたとき、(αc−αs)/(αi―αs)の値が、0.2より大きい、請求項8に記載の連結されたインペラー及びシャフト。
- (αc−αs)/(αi―αs)の値が、1以上である、請求項9に記載の連結されたインペラー及びシャフト。
- 前記コネクタの前記外向き表面と、前記ハブ延長部の前記半径方向内側表面との間の摩擦連結が、使用時に、前記シャフトと前記インペラーとの間の実質的に全てのトルクを伝達する、請求項7〜10のいずれか一項に記載の連結されたインペラー及びシャフト。
- 前記コネクタの前記ねじ部分が、前記中央凹部内にある、請求項6〜11のいずれか一項に記載の連結されたインペラー及びシャフト。
- 請求項1〜12のいずれか一項に記載の連結されたインペラー及びシャフトを有するターボチャージャー。
