Abstract
【解決手段】車両1のエンコパ2の中には、エンジン5と、エンジン5に吸気を導入する吸気通路11〜15と、エンジン5から排気を導出する排気通路21と、排気通路21の周りの高温空気をエンジン5に導入するために吸気通路11〜15に接続された高温ダクト26とが配置される。吸気通路11〜15は、外気を低温空気として導入する吸気入口15aを含む。吸気通路11〜15と高温ダクト26との接続部には、高温ダクト26からの高温空気と吸気入口15aからの低温空気を吸気通路11〜15の下流側へ選択的に流すために流路を切り替える流路切替弁27が設けられる。弁制御手段50は、エンコパ2の中の温度に応じて流路切替弁27の切り替え動作を制御するように構成される。

Claims (4)
- 車両のエンジンコンパートメントの中に配置されたエンジンに導入される吸気の温度を制御する車両用エンジンの吸気温度制御装置であって、
前記エンジンコンパートメントの中に配置され、前記エンジンに吸気を導入するための吸気通路と、
前記吸気通路は、吸気入口を含み、前記吸気入口から外気を低温空気として導入するように構成されることと、
前記エンジンコンパートメントの中に一部が配置され、前記エンジンから排気を導出するための排気通路と、
前記エンジンコンパートメントの中に配置され、前記排気通路の周りの高温空気を前記エンジンに導入するために前記吸気通路に接続された高温空気通路と、
前記吸気通路と前記高温空気通路との接続部に設けられ、前記高温空気通路からの高温空気と前記吸気入口からの低温空気を前記吸気通路の下流側へ選択的に流すために流路を切り替える流路切替弁と、
前記エンジンコンパートメントの中の温度に応じて前記流路切替弁の切り替え動作を制御するための弁制御手段と
を備えたことを特徴とする車両用エンジンの吸気温度制御装置。 - 前記エンジンコンパートメントの中の温度をエンコパ温度として検出するためのエンコパ温度検出手段を更に備え、
前記弁制御手段は、検出される前記エンコパ温度に基づき前記流路切替弁を制御する
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車両用エンジンの吸気温度制御装置。 - 前記流路切替弁は、前記高温空気と前記低温空気の流路を切り替えるための弁体と、前記弁体を駆動するための駆動部とを含み、
前記弁制御手段は、前記エンコパ温度に感応して膨張又は収縮することにより前記駆動部の動作を制御する膨縮部材を含む
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車両用エンジンの吸気温度制御装置。 - 前記流路切替弁より下流の前記吸気通路における吸気温度を検出するための吸気温度検出手段と、
前記流路切替弁の異常を判定するための異常判定手段と
を更に備え、
前記異常判定手段は、前記流路切替弁が前記高温空気と前記低温空気の流路を切り替える前と後で検出される前記吸気温度の変化に基づき前記流路切替弁が異常であるか否かを判定する
ことを特徴とする請求項2又は3に記載の車両用エンジンの吸気温度制御装置。
