Abstract
【解決手段】転がり軸受用グリース組成物に、基油と所定のウレア系増ちょう剤と金属不活性化剤とを含有させる。前記基油のアニリン点は、110℃以上である。また、前記ウレア系増ちょう剤は、下記式(1):

Description
すなわち、本発明の要旨は、以下のとおりである。
[1]基油とウレア系増ちょう剤と金属不活性化剤とを含有する、転がり軸受用グリース組成物であって、
前記基油のアニリン点が、110℃以上であり、
前記ウレア系増ちょう剤が、下記式(1):
R1−NHCONH−R2−NHCONH−R3 (1)
(式中、R1及びR3は、互いに同一でも異なっていてもよく、C6-30アルキル基、C5-8シクロアルキル基、又はC6-10アリール基を示し、R2は、炭素数6〜15の2価の芳香族炭化水素基を示す)
で表されるジウレア化合物から選択される少なくとも一種である、前記転がり軸受用グリース組成物。
[2]前記ウレア系増ちょう剤が、下記式(2)〜(4):

で表されるジウレア化合物から選択される少なくとも一種である、[1]記載の転がり軸受用グリース組成物。
[3]前記ウレア系増ちょう剤において、R4とR5の総モル数に対するR4のモル数の割合[100×(R4のモル数)/(R4のモル数+R5のモル数)]が、50〜90モル%である、[2]記載の転がり軸受用グリース組成物。
[4]前記金属不活性化剤が、ベンゾトリアゾール系化合物、チアジアゾール系化合物、及びベンゾイミダゾール系化合物からなる群から選択された少なくとも一種である、[1]〜[3]のいずれか1項記載の転がり軸受用グリース組成物。
[5]前記金属不活性化剤の割合が、グリース組成物に対して、0.1〜10質量%である、[1]〜[4]のいずれか1項記載の転がり軸受用グリース組成物。
[6]前記基油が、鉱油及び/又は合成炭化水素油である、[1]〜[5]のいずれか1項記載の転がり軸受用グリース組成物。
[7]前記基油の40℃における動粘度が15〜200mm2/sである、[1]〜[6]のいずれか1項記載の転がり軸受用グリース組成物。
[8][1]〜[7]のいずれか1項記載の転がり軸受用グリース組成物が封入された、転がり軸受。
本発明のグリース組成物は、転がり軸受に使用されるグリース組成物であり、基油と所定のウレア系増ちょう剤と金属不活性化剤とを含んでいる。
本発明で使用する基油は、アニリン点が110℃以上である限り、特に限定されない。アニリン点とは、JIS K 2256に定義されるとおり、等容量のアニリンと試料とが均一な溶液として存在する最低温度(アニリンと試料とが完全に溶け合っている状態から、温度を下げて両者が分離して濁りを生じる温度)である。基油のアニリン点が低すぎると、シール材として使用されるゴムや樹脂を膨潤させて、シール材のシール性能に悪影響を及ぼし得る。従って、基油のアニリン点は、好ましくは120℃以上であり、さらに好ましくは125℃以上(例えば、130〜200℃)である。
本発明のウレア系増ちょう剤は、下記式(1)で表されるジウレア化合物から選択される少なくとも一種である。

(式中、R1及びR3は、互いに同一でも異なっていてもよく、C6-30アルキル基、C5-8シクロアルキル基、又はC6-10アリール基を示し、R2は、炭素数6〜15の2価の芳香族炭化水素基を示す)
R4−NHCONH−R2−NHCONH−R4 (2)
R4−NHCONH−R2−NHCONH−R5 (3)
R5−NHCONH−R2−NHCONH−R5 (4)
(式中、R4は、C10-26アルキル基を示し、R5は、C5-7シクロアルキル基を示し、R2は、前記と同じである)
本発明で使用する金属不活性化剤は、金属表面に付着して皮膜を形成するためか、ウレア系増ちょう剤の金属表面への付着及び堆積を防止でき、ウレア系増ちょう剤の分散状態を維持でき、転がり軸受の音響寿命を顕著に改善することができると推測される。このような金属不活性化剤の音響寿命の改善作用は、これまで知られておらず、本発明により初めて見出されたものである。
本発明の転がり軸受は、上記のグリース組成物を封入したものである。具体的には、転がり軸受は、内輪と、外輪と、内輪と外輪との間に介在し、かつ複数の転動体(玉、ころなど)を転動自在に保持する保持器と、該保持器により保持された複数の転動体(玉、ころなど)とを備えており、内輪と外輪の間の軸受空間には、グリース組成物が封入されている。
基油中で、4,4’−ジフェニルメタンジイソシアネート(MDI)と所定量のアミン[シクロヘキシルアミン(CHA)及び/又はステアリルアミン(SA)]を反応させて、ベースグリースを調製した。該ベースグリースに、金属不活性化剤を添加し、実施例及び比較例のグリース組成物を調製した。なお、比較例1では、金属不活性化剤を添加することなく、ベースグリースをそのまま使用した。
実施例及び比較例で使用した基油及び金属不活性化剤は、以下のとおりである。
(基油)
鉱油:パラフィン系鉱油
合成炭化水素油:ポリ−α−オレフィン
エステル油:ジペンタエリスリトール油とペンタエリスリトール油を前者/後者=53/47(質量比)で混合した混合油
(金属不活性化剤)
A:ベンゾトリアゾール系化合物:1−[N,N−ビス(2−エチルヘキシル)アミノメチル]−4−メチルベンゾトリアゾール
B:チアジアゾール系化合物:2,5−ビス(アルキルジチオ)−1,3,4−チアジアゾール
C:ベンゾイミダゾール系化合物:2−メルカプトベンゾイミダゾール
(酸化防止剤)
ジフェニルアミン
実施例及び比較例で得られたグリース組成物について、以下の方法により、音響耐久性及び耐ゴム性を評価した。
内径8mm、外径22mm、幅7mmの小径深溝玉軸受に試験グリース組成物を160mg封入し、音響耐久試験を行った。なお、試験条件は、雰囲気温度140℃、内輪回転速度5600rpm、アキシャル荷重19.6N、試験時間1500時間である。音響耐久性は、以下の基準により判定した。
○:アンデロン値が5以下である
×:アンデロン値が5を超える
試験グリース組成物中にシール材であるNBRを全没させ、100℃において70時間静置後、シール材を取り出し、体積膨張率を測定した。耐ゴム性は、以下の基準により判定した。
◎:体積膨張率が10%未満である
○:体積膨張率が10%以上15%未満である
×:体積膨張率が15%以上である
Claims (8)
- 基油とウレア系増ちょう剤と金属不活性化剤とを含有する、転がり軸受用グリース組成物であって、
前記基油のアニリン点が、110℃以上であり、
前記ウレア系増ちょう剤が、下記式(1):
R1−NHCONH−R2−NHCONH−R3 (1)
(式中、R1及びR3は、互いに同一でも異なっていてもよく、C6-30アルキル基、C5-8シクロアルキル基、又はC6-10アリール基を示し、R2は、炭素数6〜15の2価の芳香族炭化水素基を示す)
で表されるジウレア化合物から選択される少なくとも一種である、前記転がり軸受用グリース組成物。 - 前記ウレア系増ちょう剤が、下記式(2)〜(4):
R4−NHCONH−R2−NHCONH−R4 (2)
R4−NHCONH−R2−NHCONH−R5 (3)
R5−NHCONH−R2−NHCONH−R5 (4)
(式中、R2は、炭素数6〜15の2価の芳香族炭化水素基を示し、R4は、C10-26アルキル基を示し、R5は、C5-7シクロアルキル基を示す)
で表されるジウレア化合物から選択される少なくとも一種である、請求項1記載の転がり軸受用グリース組成物。 - 前記ウレア系増ちょう剤において、R4とR5の総モル数に対するR4のモル数の割合[100×(R4のモル数)/(R4のモル数+R5のモル数)]が、50〜90モル%である、請求項2記載の転がり軸受用グリース組成物。
- 前記金属不活性化剤が、ベンゾトリアゾール系化合物、チアジアゾール系化合物、及びベンゾイミダゾール系化合物からなる群から選択された少なくとも一種である、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項記載の転がり軸受用グリース組成物。
- 前記金属不活性化剤の割合が、グリース組成物に対して、0.1〜10質量%である、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項記載の転がり軸受用グリース組成物。
- 前記基油が、鉱油及び/又は合成炭化水素油である、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項記載の転がり軸受用グリース組成物。
- 前記基油の40℃における動粘度が15〜200mm2/sである、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項記載の転がり軸受用グリース組成物。
- 請求項1〜7のいずれか1項記載の転がり軸受用グリース組成物が封入された、転がり軸受。
