Claims (39)
- 眼科用システムのための患者インターフェイスであって、
前記眼科用システムに取り付け可能なアタッチメント・モジュールと、
当該患者インターフェイスと処置眼との間に粘弾性物質を収容するように構成されたコンタクト・モジュールと
を含む、患者インターフェイス。 - 前記粘弾性物質は、流体、液体、ゲル、クリーム、人工涙液、フィルム、弾性材料、又は粘性材料のうちの少なくとも1種を含む、請求項1に記載の患者インターフェイス。
- 前記粘弾性物質の屈折率が、前記眼科用システムの動作波長における空気の屈折率よりも前記処置眼の角膜の屈折率に近い、請求項1に記載の患者インターフェイス。
- 前記粘弾性物質の屈折率が前記眼科用システムの動作波長において約1.24〜1.52の範囲内にある、請求項1に記載の患者インターフェイス。
- 前記粘弾性物質の屈折率が前記眼科用システムの動作波長において約1.35〜1.41の範囲内にある、請求項1に記載の患者インターフェイス。
- 前記アタッチメント・モジュールと前記コンタクト・モジュールとが別個であり且つ接続可能である、請求項1に記載の患者インターフェイス。
- 前記アタッチメント・モジュールと前記コンタクト・モジュールとが当該患者インターフェイスの一体型の構成部品である、請求項1に記載の患者インターフェイス。
- 当該患者インターフェイスの構成部品が、使い捨て可能な、滅菌可能な、及び再使用可能な構成部品のうちの少なくとも1つである、請求項1に記載の患者インターフェイス。
- 前記コンタクト・モジュールによって少なくとも部分的に画定された収容空間内に前記粘弾性物質を導入するための1つ以上のインプット・ポートを含む、請求項1に記載の患者インターフェイス。
- 前記コンタクト・モジュールから空気、ガス、及び前記粘弾性物質のうちの少なくとも1種を排出することを可能とするように構成された1つ以上のアウトプット開口を含む、請求項1に記載の患者インターフェイス。
- 前記1つ以上のアウトプット開口は、前記コンタクト・モジュールによって少なくとも部分的に画定された収容空間内の圧力をほぼ周囲圧力に維持するように構成されたベント・ポートを含む、請求項10に記載の患者インターフェイス。
- 眼科処置のために前記処置眼を少なくとも部分的に固定化するように構成された吸引サブシステムを含む、請求項1に記載の患者インターフェイス。
- 前記吸引サブシステムは、前記コンタクト・モジュールに関連して配置されており、且つ、該吸引サブシステムと前記処置眼との間に部分真空を形成するための真空吸引システムに接続可能である、請求項12に記載の患者インターフェイス。
- 当該患者インターフェイスは、当該患者インターフェイスを前記処置眼に取り付けたときに前記処置眼の角膜の頂部曲率の変化を10%未満に維持するように構成されている、請求項1に記載の患者インターフェイス。
- 当該患者インターフェイスは、当該患者インターフェイスを前記処置眼に取り付けたときに前記処置眼の角膜の頂部曲率の変化を3%未満に維持するように構成されている、請求項14に記載の患者インターフェイス。
- 前記眼科用システムは、画像化システム、診断システム、レーザーシステム、又は眼科手術システムのうちの少なくとも1つを含む、請求項1に記載の患者インターフェイス。
- 前記コンタクト・モジュールは、前記処置眼に取り付けられる前に前記粘弾性物質を収容するように構成されている、請求項1に記載の患者インターフェイス。
- 前記コンタクト・モジュールは、前記粘弾性物質が前記処置眼に施された後に前記粘弾性物質を収容するように構成されている、請求項1に記載の患者インターフェイス。
- 前記コンタクト・モジュールによって少なくとも部分的に画定された収容空間内に前記粘弾性物質を含有し且つ前記処置眼のための軟質接触面を形成するように構成された軟質フィルム又は膜を含む、請求項1に記載の患者インターフェイス。
- 前記粘弾性物質を含有する軟質バッグを含む、請求項1に記載の患者インターフェイス。
- 当該患者インターフェイスは、前記粘弾性物質を脱ガスするように構成された脱ガス・サブシステムに接続可能である、請求項1に記載の患者インターフェイス。
- コンタクト・モジュールを含む、眼科用システムのための患者インターフェイスであって、
該コンタクト・モジュールは、
頂部角膜半径R1を有する第1眼に取り付け可能であり、別個に頂部角膜半径R2を有する第2眼に取り付け可能であり、且つ、
該コンタクト・モジュールが前記第1眼に取り付けられたときと、別個に前記第2眼に取り付けられたときとのそれぞれの頂部角膜半径の変化を0.5×|R1−R2|未満に制限するように構成されており、
前記頂部角膜半径R1及びR2は7.5mm〜8.2mmである、患者インターフェイス。 - 前記コンタクト・モジュールは、前記コンタクト・モジュールが前記眼に取り付けられたときのそれぞれの頂部角膜半径の変化を0.25×|R1−R2|未満に制限するように構成されている、請求項22に記載の患者インターフェイス。
- 前記眼科用システムの遠位端に取り付け可能なアタッチメント・モジュールを含み、
前記アタッチメント・モジュール及び前記コントローラ・モジュールが、当該患者インターフェイスの、別個の接続可能な構成部品又は一体型の構成部品のうちの一方である、請求項22に記載の患者インターフェイス。 - 前記処置眼と当該患者インターフェイスとによって少なくとも部分的に画定された閉じ込め空間内に流体又はゲルを導入するように構成された1つ以上の流体ポートを含む、請求項22に記載の患者インターフェイス。
- 前記処置眼と当該患者インターフェイスとによって少なくとも部分的に画定された閉じ込め空間から空気、流体、又はゲルのうちの少なくとも1種を排出するのを可能にするように構成された1つ以上のアウトプット開口を含む、請求項22に記載の患者インターフェイス。
- 当該患者インターフェイスの一部と前記処置眼の一部との間に部分真空を形成することを可能にするように構成された吸引ポートを含む、請求項22に記載の患者インターフェイス。
- 遠位レンズを含み、該遠位レンズは、前記患者インターフェイスを前記処置眼に取り付けた後、該処置眼の角膜に接触しない、請求項22に記載の患者インターフェイス。
- 粘弾性物質を含有し且つ処置眼のための軟質接触面を提供するように構成された軟質層を含む、請求項22に記載の患者インターフェイス。
- 眼科処置のために患者インターフェイスを利用する方法であって、
前記眼科処置に備えて前記患者インターフェイスを処置眼に適用するステップと、
前記処置眼の角膜及び前記患者インターフェイスの接触部分のうちの少なくとも一方に粘弾性物質を提供するステップであって、該提供は、適用前、適用中、又は適用後に実施される、ステップと
を含む、方法。 - 前記粘弾性物質の提供は、流体、液体、ゲル、クリーム、人工涙液、フィルム、弾性材料、又は粘性材料のうちの少なくとも1種を提供することを含む、請求項30に記載の方法。
- 前記提供は、前記適用後に、前記患者インターフェイスのインプット・ポートを通して、前記患者インターフェイスと前記処置眼とによって少なくとも部分的に仕切られた接触空間内に前記粘弾性物質を導入することを含む、請求項30に記載の方法。
- 前記提供は、前記適用前に、前記処置眼の角膜上に前記粘弾性物質を導入することを含む、請求項30に記載の方法。
- 前記提供は、前記適用前に、前記患者インターフェイスの接触部分に前記粘弾性物質を提供することを含む、請求項30に記載の方法。
- 前記提供は、1つ以上の軟質フィルム又は膜によって少なくとも部分的に画定された空間内に前記粘弾性物質を提供することを含む、請求項34に記載の方法。
- 前記提供は、前記粘弾性物質を導入するためにシリンジを使用することを含む、請求項30に記載の方法。
- 前記眼科処置は、画像化処置、診断処置、レーザー支援処置、又は眼科手術処置のうちの少なくとも1つを含む、請求項30に記載の方法。
- 前記粘弾性物質を脱ガスすることを含む、請求項30に記載の方法。
- 前記脱ガスが、圧力低減、加熱、膜脱気の実施、不活性ガスの代用、又は還元剤の添加のうちの少なくとも1つを含む、請求項38に記載の方法。
