Claims (20)
- 偏向可能なカテーテルであって、
近位部分及び遠位部分を備えた外側部材を有し、
前記外側部材から遠位側に延びる細長い柱状部材を有し、
前記外側部材と同軸に位置決めされると共に前記柱状部材に取り付けられた内側部材を有し、前記内側部材は、前記外側部材の遠位側に延び、前記内側部材は、遠位先端部分を有し、
前記柱状部材の軸方向運動を制限するよう前記柱状部材に嵌めた状態で配置された補強部材を有し、前記内側部材又は前記外側部材のうちの一方が他方に対して動かされると、前記柱状部材の軸方向圧縮が前記補強部材によって制限され、前記内側部材の前記遠位先端部分が側方に偏向するようになっている、偏向可能カテーテル。 - 前記外側部材は、中央長手方向軸線を有し、前記柱状部材は、前記外側部材の前記中央長手方向軸線に対して半径方向にオフセットしている、請求項1記載の偏向可能カテーテル。
- 前記補強部材は、管から成る、請求項1記載の偏向可能カテーテル。
- 前記柱状部材は、断面が非円形である、請求項1記載の偏向可能カテーテル。
- 前記柱状部材は、前記外側部材及び前記内側部材に固定的に取り付けられている、請求項1記載の偏向可能カテーテル。
- 前記外側部材は、前記内側部材を受け入れる中央ルーメンを有し、前記内側部材は、ガイドワイヤを受け入れる中央ルーメンを有する、請求項1記載の偏向可能カテーテル。
- 前記柱状部材は、前記外側部材の前記遠位部分に取り付けられた近位部分及び前記内側部材の前記遠位部分に取り付けられた遠位部分を有する、請求項1記載の偏向可能カテーテル。
- 前記内側部材の遠位部分のところに設けられたマーカーバンドを更に有し、前記柱状部材は、前記マーカーバンドに取り付けられている、請求項1記載の偏向可能カテーテル。
- 近位側への前記内側部材の運動時又は遠位側への前記外側部材の運動時、前記柱状部材の軸方向圧縮は、前記補強部材によって制限され、従って、前記柱状部材は、軸方向に屈従することはできず、これとは異なり、側方に屈従して前記遠位先端部分を偏向させる、請求項1記載の偏向可能カテーテル。
- 前記外側部材の前記中央ルーメンは、該中央ルーメン内での前記内側部材の運動を容易にするよう潤滑される、請求項1記載の偏向可能カテーテル。
- 前記内側部材に設けられた第1及び第2のマーカーバンドを更に有し、前記柱状部材は、前記第1及ぶ前記第2のマーカーバンドに取り付けられている、請求項1記載の偏向可能カテーテル。
- 前記内側部材の位置を前記外側部材に対してロックするロック組立体を更に有する、請求項1記載の偏向可能カテーテル。
- 近位部分、中間部分、偏向可能な遠位先端部分、第1の位置から第2の位置に軸方向に動くことができる第1の可動部材を有する偏向可能なカテーテルであって、前記遠位先端部分は、前記第1の部材の軸方向運動によって偏向可能であり、前記遠位先端部分は、圧縮の際に軸方向に屈従することはできず、従って、前記遠位先端部分は、側方に屈従して第1の方向における前記遠位先端部分の偏向を生じさせる、偏向可能カテーテル。
- 前記第1の可動部材は、第2の部材内に位置決めされ、前記第1の位置は、前記第2の位置の遠位側にある、請求項13記載の偏向可能カテーテル。
- 前記第1の可動部材は、第2の可動部材に嵌めた状態で配置され、前記第1の位置は、前記第2の位置の近位側にある、請求項13記載の偏向可能カテーテル。
- 前記第1の可動部材は、前記第2の可動部材が実質的に静止状態のままである間に偏向する、請求項13記載の偏向可能カテーテル。
- 逆方向の軸方向運動により、逆の第2の方向への前記遠位先端部分の曲げが生じる、請求項13記載の偏向可能カテーテル。
- 偏向可能な遠位先端部分を有する偏向可能なカテーテルであって、前記カテーテルは、
ルーメン、近位部分及び遠位部分を備えた外側カテーテルを有し、
前記外側カテーテルの前記内側ルーメン内に同軸状に位置決めされた内側カテーテルを有し、前記内側カテーテルは、前記外側カテーテルの遠位端の遠位側に延びる遠位先端部分を有し、
前記内側カテーテルに取り付けられた柱状部材を有し、前記外側部材及び前記内側部材のうちの一方の軸方向運動が前記柱状部材に作用して前記内側カテーテルの前記遠位先端部分を側方に偏向させる、偏向可能カテーテル。 - 前記柱状部材は、前記外側カテーテルが接触する近位停止部を有する、請求項18記載の偏向可能カテーテル。
- 前記柱状部材は、管内に位置決めされ、前記管は、前記柱状部材の軸方向運動を制限する、請求項18記載の偏向可能カテーテル。
