Claims (12)

  1. 一酸化窒素送達システムであって、患者に一酸化窒素(NO)を含む治療用ガスの複数のパルスを送達し、少なくとも一つのパルスは、
    i. 2,200 ppmNOか又は2,200 ppmNOより高いNO送達濃度を含み、
    ii. 83μgNO/秒か又は83μgNO/秒より低い用量速度で投与され、
    iii.0.8L/分か又は0.8L/分より低い治療用ガスの流速で投与され、
    iv. 1mLか又は1mLより小さいパルス容積を有し、
    v. 420nmolより少ないNOを含む
    一酸化窒素送達システム。
  2. 送達濃度が2,200 ppmNOから5,000 ppmNOの範囲にある請求項1に記載の一酸化窒素送達システム
  3. 治療用ガスが呼吸毎に患者に投与される、請求項1又は2に記載の一酸化窒素送達システム
  4. 治療用ガスが間欠的に患者に投与される、請求項1又は2に記載の一酸化窒素送達システム
  5. 複数のパルスが0.001から4.5mgNO/kg/時間の範囲の用量で患者に送達される、請求項1からのいずれか一項に記載の一酸化窒素送達システム
  6. 複数のパルスが0.001から0.5mgNO/kg/時間の範囲の用量で患者に送達される、請求項1からのいずれか一項に記載の一酸化窒素送達システム
  7. 複数のパルスが少なくとも48時間の処置期間に送達される、請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載の一酸化窒素送達システム
  8. 複数のパルスが少なくとも72時間の処置期間に送達される、請求項1からのいずれか一項に記載の一酸化窒素送達システム
  9. 治療用ガスが未希釈の形態であり、それにより送達濃度が貯蔵濃度と同一である、請求項1からのいずれか一項に記載の一酸化窒素送達システム
  10. 肺高血圧症の治療における使用のための請求項1から9のいずれか一項に記載の一酸化窒素送達システム
  11. 肺高血圧症が肺動脈高血圧症(PAH)である、請求項10に記載の一酸化窒素送達システム
  12. 肺高血圧症が慢性閉塞性肺疾患(COPD)に関連している、請求項10に記載の一酸化窒素送達システム
