Abstract
Description
Claims (19)
- 物体を加工する方法であって、前記物体は、金属または合金から成り、前記物体は、複数の開放キャビティを有し、前記方法は:
前記物体へ封止プロセスを実施して前記開放キャビティの開口部を封止し、それによって、複数の閉鎖キャビティを形成すること;および
前記閉鎖キャビティを有する前記物体へ緻密化プロセスを実施することによって、前記独立キャビティのサイズを低下させること、
を含む、物体を加工する方法。 - 前記閉鎖キャビティの前記サイズを低下させる前記工程が、少なくとも、前記物体中に前記閉鎖キャビティが存在しなくなるまで実施される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 緻密化プロセスを実施する前記工程が、熱間等方圧加圧プロセスを実施することを含む、請求項1または2に記載の方法。
- 前記物体が、ネットシェイプ製造プロセス、ニアネットシェイプ製造プロセス、粉末冶金プロセス、スプレーフォーミングプロセス、金属射出成型、直接金属堆積、選択的レーザー溶融、積層造形、鋳造、圧延、および鍛造から成るプロセスの群より選択されるプロセスを用いて作製された物体である、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記物体が、前記物体を形成するために金属射出成型を用いて作製された物体である、請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記物体が、焼結されたブラウンステージ物体である、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 封止プロセスを実施する前記工程が、前記物体の表面を塑性変形することを含む、請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記物体の前記表面を塑性変形することが、物前記体の前記表面をショットピーニングすることを含む、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 封止プロセスを実施する前記工程が、前記物体の前記表面が塑性変形された後に、前記物体を焼結することをさらに含む、請求項7または8に記載の方法。
- 封止プロセスを実施する前記工程が、物質の層で前記物体の前記表面をコーティングすることでコーティングされた物体を提供することを含み、ここで、前記物質は、前記物体を形成する前記金属または合金と異なる金属または合金である、請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 封止プロセスを実施する前記工程が、前記物質の層からの原子が前記物体中に拡散し、および前記物体からの原子が前記物質の層中に拡散するように、前記コーティングされた物体を加熱することをさらに含む、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記コーティングされた物体を加熱する前記工程が、前記コーティングされた物体の、前記表面に存在するかまたは前記表面に近接して存在する一部分を溶融することを含み、前記一部分は、前記コーティングされた物体の請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記物質の層および前記物体が、前記物質の層と前記物体との間の界面にて、または界面に近接して、共晶組成物を形成する、請求項10から12のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記コーティングされた物体を加熱する前記工程が、前記コーティングされた物体を、前記共晶組成物の共晶温度よりも高く温度であり、かつ、前記物体を形成する前記金属または合金の融点よりも低い温度である、温度まで加熱することを含む、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 前記物質が、銅を含む、請求項10から14のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記物体を形成する前記金属または合金が、チタン合金、鋼鉄、およびアルミニウム合金から成る金属または合金の群より選択される、請求項1から15のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 物体を作製する方法であって、前記方法は:
金属または合金から成る初期物体であって、複数の開放キャビティを有する、初期物体を提供すること;および
請求項1から16のいずれか一項に記載の方法を用いて前記初期物体を加工し、それによって前記作製された物体を提供すること、
を含む、物体を作製する方法。 - 請求項1から16のいずれか一項に記載の方法を用いて加工された物体。
- 請求項17に記載の方法を用いて作製された物体。
