Abstract
Description
Claims (20)
- 経内頬投与を介してワクチン接種するための微小針パッチであって、所定のワクチンを保有し、該所定のワクチンを迅速に送達するために内頬粘膜の外側層を貫通するように設計された少なくとも1本の微小針を含んでいることを特徴とする微小針パッチ。
- 前記少なくとも1本の微小針は、前記内頬粘膜の上皮を貫通し、粘膜固有層に前記所定のワクチンを送達するように設計されている、請求項1記載の微小針パッチ。
- 前記少なくとも1本の微小針は、溶解性、生物溶解性及び/又は生分解性の物質で製造され、前記内頬粘膜の表面への生物接着性を提供する、請求項1記載の微小針パッチ。
- 前記少なくとも1本の微小針は、セルロース、デキストリン、デキストラン、二糖類、キトサン、キチン、ゼラチン、アミロペクチン、プルラン、およびそれらの混合物のうちの少なくとも1種により製造され、
前記セルロースには、セルロース、カルボキシメチルセルロースナトリウム、ヒドロキシプロピルセルロース、ヒドロキシエチルセルロース、およびヒドロキシプロピルメチルセルロースが含まれ、
前記デキストリンには、マルトデキストリン、シクロデキストリン、アミロデキストリン、イコデキストリン、イエローデキストリン、およびホワイトデキストリンが含まれ、
前記二糖類には、スクロース、ラクトース、マルトース、トレハロース、ツラノース、およびセロビオースが含まれる、
請求項1記載の微小針パッチ。 - 前記少なくとも1本の微小針は、スクロースとカルボキシメチルセルロースナトリウムとの混合物、マンノースとカルボキシメチルセルロースナトリウムとの混合物、およびデキストリンとトレハロースとの混合物のうちの少なくとも1種により製造される、請求項1記載の微小針パッチ。
- 前記少なくとも1本の微小針は、最広直径が約900μm未満である漸減形状を有する、請求項1記載の微小針パッチ。
- 本微小針パッチは、約0.5cmから約1.5cmの直径を有し、5本から400本の前記微小針を含む円形体である、請求項1記載の微小針パッチ。
- 前記少なくとも1本の微小針は、前記内頬粘膜の外側層を貫通するのに充分な長さを有し、前記所定のワクチンを粘膜固有層のデンドライト細胞に送達するが、粘膜下組織には侵入せず、貫通しない、請求項1記載の微小針パッチ。
- 前記少なくとも1本の微小針の長さは、約200μmから500μmの範囲である、請求項1記載の微小針パッチ。
- 前記少なくとも1本の微小針の長さは、約20μmから900μmの範囲である、請求項1記載の微小針パッチ。
- 前記少なくとも1本の微小針の長さは、約250μmから750μmの範囲である、請求項1記載の微小針パッチ。
- 前記少なくとも1本の微小針の長さは、1000μm未満である、請求項1記載の微小針パッチ。
- 前記少なくとも1本の微小針は、アデノウィルス、炭素症、BCGライブ、ジフテリア−破傷風、百日咳、ポリオ、ヘモフィルス、A型肝炎、B型肝炎、ヒトパピロマウィルス、インフルエンザ、日本脳炎、髄膜炎菌、ライム病、狂犬病、ペスト、肺炎球菌、コレラ、ワクシニア、結核、風疹、麻疹、おたふく風、ロタウィルス、破傷風、腸チフス、黄熱病、および帯状ヘルペスの少なくとも1種のワクチンを含む、請求項1記載の微小針パッチ。
- 経内頬投与を介してワクチン接種するための微小針パッチであって、複数の部位を含んでおり、それぞれの部位は、所定のワクチンを保有し、該所定のワクチンを迅速に送達するために内頬粘膜の外側層を貫通するように設計された少なくとも1本の微小針を含んでいることを特徴とする微小針パッチ。
- 1つの前記部位の微小針は、別部位の微小針に含まれるワクチンとは異なるワクチンを含む、請求項14記載の微小針パッチ。
- 1つの前記部位の微小針の形状と長さは、別部位の微小針の形状と長さとは異なる、請求項14記載の微小針パッチ。
- 1つの前記部位の微小針の数は、別部位の微小針の数とは異なる、請求項14記載の微小針パッチ。
- 前記少なくとも1本の微小針は、前記内頬粘膜の外側層を貫通するのに充分な長さを有して前記所定のワクチンを粘膜固有層のデンドライト細胞に送達するが、粘膜下組織には侵入せず、貫通しない、請求項14記載の微小針パッチ。
- 前記少なくとも1本の微小針の長さは、約200μmから500μmの範囲である、請求項14記載の微小針パッチ。
