前記光源から照射された光を前記液晶パネルの背面側に導く導光部と、
前記導光部と前記液晶パネルとの間に配置され、前記液晶パネルの背面の全域に沿って延在し、前記導光部から入射された前記光を拡散して前記液晶パネルに照射する拡散板と、
前記拡散板の前記導光部側の背面において、前記導光部から入射される前記光の光軸上に設けられ、前記光を前記導光部側に反射する第1反射部と、
前記第1反射部により反射された前記光を前記拡散板側に反射する第2反射部と、

ことを特徴とする、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の液晶表示装置。 - 請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の液晶表示装置と、
指針駆動軸挿通孔を有し、前記指針駆動軸挿通孔を中心とする略円弧状に計測量に対応する目盛り及び文字を配列した文字盤と、
導光性材料により軸状に形成されて前記指針駆動軸挿通孔を介して前記文字盤の背面側と前面側とを挿通する指針駆動軸を有し、前記文字盤の前記背面側に配置されて、前記指針駆動軸を回転駆動する指針駆動部と、
前記指針駆動軸の前記前面側の先端に固定される軸連結部と、該軸連結部から前記文字盤の半径方向に延出して前記目盛りを指し示す指針部と、を有し、導光性材料により形成される指針部材と、
前記指針駆動軸の前記背面側の先端に対向して配置されて、前記指針駆動軸に照明光を導入させて前記指針部材を照明する指針照明用光源と、
を備え、
前記液晶表示装置は、前記文字盤の前記前面側にて前記軸連結部を覆うように配置され、
前記液晶表示装置の前記光源は、前記指針照明用光源であり、
前記液晶表示装置の前記導光部は、前記軸連結部から前記液晶表示装置側に突出して設けられて前記指針駆動軸から受けた照明光の一部を前記液晶表示装置側に出射するよう構成される
ことを特徴とする車両用計器。
