Abstract
【解決手段】システム100は、ユーザからの入力を受けるように構成されたタッチコントロールパネルと、タッチコントロールパネルと通信接続され、電力が供給される装置の少なくとも一つの動作設定を制御するように構成された制御部と、制御部と通信接続され、ユーザが入力を供給すると、ユーザに対して摩擦効果を出力することによりタッチコントロールパネルの入力ボタンをシミュレートするように構成された触覚出力装置160とを備える。

Description
本出願は、2013年12月31日に出願された米国仮特許出願第61/922,642号からの優先権の利益を請求するものであり、この出願の全内容が引用により本明細書に組み入れられる。
Claims (16)
- ユーザからの入力を受けるように構成されたタッチコントロールパネルと、
前記タッチコントロールパネルと通信接続され、電力が供給される装置の少なくとも一つの動作設定を制御するように構成された制御部と、
前記制御部と通信接続され、前記ユーザが前記入力を供給すると、前記ユーザに対して摩擦効果を出力することにより前記タッチコントロールパネルの入力ボタンをシミュレートするように構成された触覚出力装置と、を備えるシステム。 - 前記摩擦効果は静電摩擦によって生成される、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記触覚出力装置は、前記入力ボタンと一致する前記タッチコントロールパネルの部分のみを覆う静電摩擦層を有する、請求項2に記載のシステム。
- 前記摩擦効果は超音波振動によって生成される、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記触覚出力装置が、前記タッチコントロールパネルの表面に接続される圧電アクチュエータを有する、請求項4に記載のシステム。
- 前記触覚出力装置は、前記タッチコントロールパネルの前記表面と接続され、前記入力ボタンと一致するフレキシブル層を有し、
前記圧電アクチュエータは、前記フレキシブル層に組み込まれ、
前記入力ボタンと一致する開口部を有する剛性フレームが、前記フレキシブル層を覆う、請求項5に記載のシステム。 - 前記電力が供給される装置は、台所電気器具である請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記電力が供給される装置は、照明器具である請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記電力が供給される装置は、医療機器である請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記電力が供給される装置は、工業機械である請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記電力が供給される装置は、スマートフォンである請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記電力が供給される装置は、車両に設けられる請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記電力が供給される装置は、コンピュータのモニタである請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 制御ボタンを拡張制御ボタンへと変換する方法であって、前記方法は、
前記拡張制御ボタンへと変換すべき前記制御ボタンの少なくとも一つの特徴を特定する段階と、
特定された前記特徴のそれぞれに対して摩擦効果を割り当てる段階と、
割り当てられた前記摩擦効果がタッチコントロールパネル上で再生されるように触覚出力装置をプログラムする段階と、を備える方法。 - 前記少なくとも一つの特徴は、前記制御ボタンの境界を含む、請求項14に記載の方法。
- 前記少なくとも一つの特徴は、前記制御ボタンのテクスチャを含む、請求項14に記載の方法。
