Abstract
Description
本発明の他の目的は、前記タイヤ用ゴム組成物を用いて製造したタイヤを提供することにある。
前記カップリング剤は、スルフィド系シラン化合物、メルカプト系シラン化合物、ビニル系シラン化合物、アミノ系シラン化合物、グリシドキシ系シラン化合物、ニトロ系シラン化合物、クロロ系シラン化合物、メタクリル系シラン化合物、及びこれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択された何れか1つを使用でき、スルフィド系シラン化合物が好ましい。
製造例1.セルロースウィスカーの製造
綿セルロースを室温の食塩水に12時間浸漬させて膨潤(swelling)された綿セルロースを準備した。また、セルロースの前処理とは別途に60%塩酸水溶液及び60%硝酸水溶液を1:1の重量比で混合した酸性水溶液を製造した。
前記酸性水溶液100重量部に、膨潤された綿セルロース18重量部を添加した。前記セルロースが添加された酸性水溶液をホットプレートを用いて約90℃の温度で約8時間熱処理した。その後、熱処理された溶液を収容している反応容器を約20℃の水を収容している水槽に入れて前記熱処理された溶液を急冷させた。次に、冷却された溶液を濾過し、得られたセルロースウィスカーを蒸留水で洗浄して中和した。分離されたセルロースウィスカーをデシケーターの中で4時間完全乾燥して平均長さが20〜40nmのセルロースウィスカーを得た。
TDAEオイル100重量部に、前記製造したセルロースウィスカー18重量部及びアニオン界面活性剤としてアルキルベンゼンスルホン酸塩(alkylbenzene sulfonate)5重量部を添加した。次に、バスタイプ超音波分散器を用いて前記TDAEオイルにセルロースウィスカーを分散させることで、セルロースウィスカーが分散された溶液を製造した。この時、前記分散器の水の温度は約25℃で、分散時間は約4時間であった。
前記実施例及び比較例で製造したゴム組成物について物性を測定し、その結果を下記表2に示す。
(1)硬度はショアA(Shore A)タイプの硬度計で測定した値である。硬度は操縦安定性を示すことで、その値が高いほど操縦安定性が向上することを示す。
(2)300%モジュラス(単位:kgf/cm2)は300%伸長時の引張強度であって、ISO 37規格によって測定し、数値が高いほど優れた強度を示す。
(3)引張強度(単位:kgf/cm2)はASTM D790の方法で測定し、数値が高いほど優れた強度を示す。
(4)破断時の伸び率(単位:%)は引張試験機で試験片が切れるまでの引っ張る(Strain)値を%で示すものである。
(5)耐摩耗度はランボーン摩耗度(Lambourn abrasion tester)の比であって、比較例1のゴム組成物から得られたゴム試片の損失量を100とし、これを基準として指数化して示した値である。前記ゴム試片の損失量は室温で滑り率25%、荷重1.5kgでゴム試片を回転させて摩耗されたゴム量を測定した。耐摩耗度の数値が高いほど優れた耐摩耗性能を示す。
(6)60℃ tanδは、タイヤの低燃費特性を示すもので、ARES測定機を用いて0.5%変形(strain)に10Hz周波数で−60℃から60℃までG’、G’’、tanδを測定した。60℃ tanδの値は比較例1を100とし、これを基準として指数化して示した。前記指数が高いほど回転抵抗性能(低燃費性能)が優れたことがわかる。
Claims (14)
- 原料ゴム及びセルロースウィスカーを含むことを特徴とするタイヤ用ゴム組成物。
- 前記セルロースウィスカーは、10〜50nmの平均長さを持つことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のタイヤ用ゴム組成物。
- 前記セルロースウィスカーは、前記原料ゴム100重量部に対して0.1〜5重量部で含まれることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のタイヤ用ゴム組成物。
- 有機溶媒にセルロースウィスカーを分散させてセルロースウィスカーが分散された溶液を製造する段階と、
前記セルロースウィスカーが分散された溶液を原料ゴムに添加する段階と、を含むことを特徴とするタイヤ用ゴム組成物の製造方法。 - 前記セルロースウィスカーが分散された溶液を製造する段階は、前記有機溶媒としてTDAEオイル、液状老化防止剤、液状ゴム及びこれらの混合物のうち何れか1つの有機溶媒を使用することを特徴とする請求項4に記載のタイヤ用ゴム組成物の製造方法。
- 前記セルロースウィスカーが分散された溶液を製造する段階は、有機溶媒100重量部に対して1〜30重量部のセルロースウィスカーを分散させることを含むことを特徴とする請求項4に記載のタイヤ用ゴム組成物の製造方法。
- 前記セルロースウィスカーが分散された溶液を製造する段階は、前記有機溶媒に界面活性剤をさらに添加することを含むことを特徴とする請求項4に記載のタイヤ用ゴム組成物の製造方法。
- 前記セルロースウィスカーが分散された溶液を製造する段階は、有機溶媒にセルロースウィスカーを分散させ、分散された溶液を超音波処理することを含むことを特徴とする請求項4に記載のタイヤ用ゴム組成物の製造方法。
- 前記セルロースウィスカーが分散された溶液を製造する段階の前に、セルロースウィスカーを製造する段階をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項4に記載のタイヤ用ゴム組成物の製造方法。
- 前記セルロースウィスカーを製造する段階は、セルロースを酸または塩基で加水分解することを含むことを特徴とする請求項9に記載のタイヤ用ゴム組成物の製造方法。
- 前記セルロースウィスカーを製造する段階は、40%〜70%の酸性または塩基性水溶液100重量部に対して10〜30重量部のセルロースを添加することを含むことを特徴とする請求項9に記載のタイヤ用ゴム組成物の製造方法。
- 前記セルロースウィスカーを製造する段階は、50〜100℃で5〜10時間セルロースを酸または塩基で加水分解することを含むことを特徴とする請求項9に記載のタイヤ用ゴム組成物の製造方法。
- 前記セルロースウィスカーを製造する段階は、加水分解された反応混合物を中和することをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項9に記載のタイヤ用ゴム組成物の製造方法。
- 請求項1に記載のタイヤ用ゴム組成物を用いて製造することを特徴とするタイヤ。
