デリバリーカテーテルの遠位端に取り外し可能に取り付けられた拡張可能部材を、骨の頭内の空間の中に少なくとも部分的に配置し、
上記デリバリーカテーテルの内部ルーメンを通して上記拡張可能部材の中へ感光性液体を注入し、
上記デリバリーカテーテルの内部空隙を通して上記拡張可能部材の中へ導光ファイバを挿入し、
上記拡張可能部材の中の上記感光性液体を硬化するように上記導光ファイバを活性化して、上記骨の上記頭の内部に光線力学的インプラントを形成することを含む。
一実施形態では、上記拡張可能部材は、テーパが付けられた細長い形を持つ。

デリバリーカテーテルの遠位端に取り外し可能に取り付けられた拡張可能部材を、骨の頭内の空間の中に少なくとも部分的に配置し、
上記デリバリーカテーテルの内部ルーメンを通して上記拡張可能部材の中へ感光性液体を注入し、
上記デリバリーカテーテルの内部空隙を通して上記拡張可能部材の中へ導光ファイバを挿入し、
上記拡張可能部材の中の上記感光性液体を硬化するように上記導光ファイバを活性化して、それにより、上記骨の上記頭の内部に光線力学的インプラントを形成する。

上記拡張可能部材の中の上記感光性液体を硬化するように上記導光ファイバを活性化して、上記骨の上記頭の内部に光線力学的インプラントを形成することを含む。

Claims (20)
- 折れた又は弱くなった骨の頭を再構築し又は安定化するための装置であって、
近位端、遠位端およびそれらの近位端と遠位端との間の縦軸を持つ細長いシャフト、少なくとも1つの感光性液体を通すための内部空隙、および内部ルーメンを有するデリバリーカテーテルと、
上記デリバリーカテーテルの遠位端と取り外し可能に係合する拡張可能部材とを備え、上記少なくとも1つの感光性液体が上記拡張可能部材に通されるとき上記拡張可能部材は収縮状態から拡張状態まで移ることができ、上記拡張可能部材は骨の頭内の空間に少なくとも部分的に配置されるように十分に設計されており、
上記デリバリーカテーテルの上記内部ルーメンを通して上記拡張可能部材の中へ通過するように寸法設定された導光ファイバを備え、上記導光ファイバが上記拡張可能部材内にあるとき、上記導光ファイバは、上記拡張可能部材内の上記少なくとも1つの感光性液体の硬化を始めるように光エネルギを分散して、光線力学的インプラントを形成することができる装置。 - 上記拡張可能部材は洋梨形、球形、ドーム形、丸い形または細長い形を持つことを特徴とする請求項1の装置。
- 上記拡張可能部材はテーパが付けられた細長い形を持つことを特徴とする請求項1の装置。
- 上記拡張可能部材は逆行性の形状または順行性の形状を持つことを特徴とする請求項1の装置。
- 上記拡張可能部材は近位端と遠位端とを持ち、
上記拡張可能部材の上記近位端の直径は上記拡張可能部材の上記遠位端の直径より大きいことを特徴とする請求項1の装置。 - 上記拡張可能部材は近位端と遠位端とを持ち、
上記拡張可能部材の上記遠位端の直径は上記拡張可能部材の上記近位端の直径より大きいことを特徴とする請求項1の装置。 - 上記拡張可能部材は骨の頭内に含まれるように十分に設計されていることを特徴とする請求項1の装置。
- 上記拡張可能部材は頭部とシャフト部とを含み、
上記拡張可能部材は、上記頭部が骨の頭内に配置され、上記シャフト部が上記骨の幹の中へ或る長さ伸び得るように十分に設計されていることを特徴とする請求項1の装置。 - 上記光線力学的インプラントは、少なくとも1つの骨固定インプラントと係合するように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1の装置。
- 上記少なくとも1つの骨固定インプラントは、ねじ、ロッド、ピン、釘、またはそれらの組み合わせであることを特徴とする請求項9の装置。
- 上記導光ファイバは、コアと、このコア上に配置されたクラッドとを含み、
上記クラッドは、上記コアを露出させるように少なくとも1つの切り込みを有し、上記導光ファイバから滲み出た光を変更するように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1の装置。 - 折れた又は弱くなった骨の頭を修復し又は安定化するためのキットであって、
導光ファイバと、
少なくとも1つの感光性液体と、
近位端、遠位端およびそれらの近位端と遠位端との間の縦軸を持つ細長いシャフト、内部空隙、および内部ルーメンを有するデリバリーカテーテルと、
上記デリバリーカテーテルの遠位端と取り外し可能に係合する拡張可能部材とを備え、上記拡張可能部材は骨の頭内の空間に少なくとも部分的に配置されるように十分に設計されており、
上記デリバリーカテーテルは、上記少なくとも1つの感光性液体を上記拡張可能部材の中へ通すための内部空隙と、上記導光ファイバを上記拡張可能部材の中へ通すための内部ルーメンとを有するキット。 - 異なるサイズまたは形状の複数の拡張可能部材をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項12のキット。
- 光源をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項12のキット。
- 折れた又は弱くなった骨の頭を修復し又は安定化するための方法であって、
デリバリーカテーテルの遠位端に取り外し可能に取り付けられた拡張可能部材を、骨の頭内の空間の中に少なくとも部分的に配置し、
上記デリバリーカテーテルの内部ルーメンを通して上記拡張可能部材の中へ感光性液体を注入し、
上記デリバリーカテーテルの内部空隙を通して上記拡張可能部材の中へ導光ファイバを挿入し、
上記拡張可能部材の中の上記感光性液体を硬化するように上記導光ファイバを活性化して、上記骨の上記頭の内部に光線力学的インプラントを形成することを含む方法。 - 上記拡張可能部材はテーパが付けられた細長い形を持つことを特徴とする請求項15の方法。
- 上記拡張可能部材の頭部を骨の頭内に配置し、上記拡張可能部材のシャフト部を上記骨の幹の中へ或る長さ伸ばすことを、さらに含むことを特徴とする請求項15の方法。
- 上記光線力学的インプラントを少なくとも1つの骨固定インプラントと係合させることを、さらに含むことを特徴とする請求項15の方法。
