Abstract
Description
a)金属やプラスチック等の基材上に、単一層の透明膜として直接施与されるか、あるいは
b)基材の上に、プライマー等の付着付与剤や、顔料等を含むベース塗料組成物を施した後に、第二層又は第三層として施与されている。
ジエチレングリコール、及びジプロピレングリコール等のジオールを挙げることができる。
顔料(E)としては、公知の着色顔料、例えば有機系、無機系の各種着色顔料、体質顔料、及びカーボンブラック(E-1)、光輝顔料(E-2)及び艶消し顔料(E-3)を用いることができる。
(A)Fe3 O4 の化学組成を有する黒色酸化鉄で被覆した干渉マイカ黒色顔料、
(B)低次酸化チタンを含むチタン化合物で被覆したのち二酸化チタンで被覆した干渉マイカ顔料、
(C)表面を二酸化チタン層で被覆したのち金属チタンをスパッタリングして表面に金属チタン部と二酸化チタン膜の一部を還元した低次酸化チタン部が点在する干渉マイカ顔料の少なくとも1種を用いることができる。
上記(B)として「INFINITE COLOR YB−06」(資生堂社製)、
上記(C)として「TISPEAL235」(日新製鋼社製)などを用いることができる。
光輝顔料(E−2)が、ポリカーボネートジオール(A)、水酸基含有アクリル樹脂(B)、及びポリカプロラクトンポリオール(C)の総量に対して、3質量%〜25質量%の範囲で添加され、
艶消し顔料(E−3)が、ポリカーボネートジオール(A)、水酸基含有アクリル樹脂(B)、及びポリカプロラクトンポリオール(C)の総量に対して、0.1質量%〜25質量%の範囲で添加されると好ましい。
[B−1の製造]
攪拌羽根、温度計、滴下装置、温度制御装置、窒素ガス導入口および冷却管を備えた反応装置に、溶剤として酢酸ブチル140部を仕込み、窒素ガスを導入しつつ、攪拌下125℃まで昇温した。次に、モノマーとして、2−ヒドロキシエチルメタクリレート155.7部、スチレン45部、t−ブチルメタクリレート112.9部、n−ブチルアクリレート133.2部、メタクリル酸3.5部の混合物、および、重合開始剤として、t−ブチルパーオキシ−2−エチルヘキサノエート67.5部を酢酸ブチル90部に溶解した溶液を反応装置中に3時間かけて滴下した。
上記B−1の製造と同様の方法によりB−2、およびB−3を製造した。重合後、酢酸ブチルを用いて不揮発分を65%に調整した。水酸基含有アクリル樹脂が得られた。
[C−1の製造]
温度調節器、攪拌翼、還流管、窒素導入口を備えた1Lのセパラブルフラスコにトリメチロールプロパン36.8g、ε−カプロラクトン563.2g、ジブチル錫ラウレート0.3gを仕込み、160℃で6時間反応を継続した。得られた樹脂の分岐数は3、水酸基当量は730であった。
水酸基含有アクリル樹脂B−1を108部と黒顔料モナーク1200(キャボット社製)2.5部を予め、ミルにより分散し、 ポリカプロラクトンポリオールC−1を10部とポリカーボネートジオールT−5650(旭化成ケミカルズ社製)20部に混合し、続いてBYK310(ビックケミー社製)1部、ジブチル錫ジラウレート0.01部を加え、 よく攪拌し、酢酸ブチルを加えて固形分を30%になるように調整した。
表2に示す割合で、樹脂や顔料や添加剤を加え、よく攪拌し、塗料組成物を調整した。
水酸基含有アクリル樹脂B−1を108部とアルミペースト顔料MH8801(旭化学ケミカルズ社製)10部をよく攪拌し、ポリカプロラクトンポリオールC−1を10部とポリカーボネートジオールT−5650(旭化成ケミカルズ社製)20部に混合し、続いてBYK310(ビックケミー社製)1部、ジブチル錫ジラウレート0.01部を加え、よく攪拌し、酢酸ブチルを加えて固形分を25%になるように調整した。
表2に示す割合で、樹脂や顔料や添加剤を加え、よく攪拌し、塗料組成物を調整した。
実施例1〜4及び比較例1〜4で得られた塗料組成物を、アクリロニトリル−ブタジエン−スチレン共重合体(ABS)樹脂基材(70mm×150mm×3mm)に、スプレーガン(アネスト岩田社製「W−101−134G」)を用いて乾燥後の膜厚が30μmとなるように塗装した。
所定の配合で(A)〜(C)を混合した樹脂溶液50gを100mlのガラス瓶に入れ、40℃で30日間保管する。その後、樹脂溶液が透明で合ったものを○、分離や濁りが確認されたものを×とした。なお、当該実験の評価においては、(A)〜(C)の成分のみを実施例、比較例で作成した塗料の樹脂(A)〜(C)の割合で混合した樹脂溶液を調製し、この溶液について相溶性の評価を行った。結果を表3に示す。
実施例1の黒さを○として、目視による相対評価を実施し、白にごり又はボケ感がある場合を×とした。
試験片の塗面上に、JIS K5600−5−6にて規定される単一刃切り込み工具を垂直にあて、素地にまで達する切込み線を平行に11本引いた。その平行線に垂直に交わる同一間隔の平行線を11本引き、4本の直線に囲まれた正方形100個の基盤目を作った。平行線の間隔は2mmとした。上記基板目部にJIS K5600−5−6にて規定される透明感圧着テープを、塗面との間に気泡を含まないように密着させ、該テープを0.5〜1.0秒で一気に剥がし、基盤目部の残存膜剥離状態を目視にて評価した。
○:全く剥離が認められない
△:基盤目状の切り込みに沿って僅かに剥離が観察できる
×:剥離部の面積が基盤目部の15%を超える
1:はっきりと傷が認められる。
2:うっすらと傷が認められる。
3:塗装板の角度を変えると、傷が見える。
4:塗装板の角度を変えると、うっすらと傷が見える。
5:傷が認められない。
プラスチックに対する下地の隠ぺい性及び色の均一性について目視にて、プラスチックの下地が見えず、均一な着色を○とし、プラスチックの成形跡が見えたり、色の不均一又は班が生ずる場合を×として評価した。
Claims (8)
- ポリカーボネートジオール(A)、重量平均分子量Mwが5000以下の水酸基含有アクリル樹脂(B)、分岐数3〜5で水酸基当量170〜1600のポリカプロラクトンポリオール(C)、硬化剤(D)、及び顔料(E)を含み、顔料(E)が、ポリカーボネートジオール(A)、水酸基含有アクリル樹脂(B)、及びポリカプロラクトンポリオール(C)の総量に対して、0.5質量%以上添加されることを特徴とするプラスチック基材に直接塗装可能な塗料組成物。
- 顔料(E)が、ポリカーボネートジオール(A)、水酸基含有アクリル樹脂(B)、及びポリカプロラクトンポリオール(C)の総量に対して、0.5質量%〜30質量%の範囲で添加されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の塗料組成物。
- 顔料(E)が、カーボンブラック(E-1)、光輝顔料(E−2)、艶消し顔料(E−3)、又はこれらの混合物であることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の塗料組成物。
- カーボンブラック(E−1)が、ポリカーボネートジオール(A)、水酸基含有アクリル樹脂(B)、及びポリカプロラクトンポリオール(C)の総量に対して、0.5質量%〜10質量%の範囲で添加されることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の塗料組成物。
- 光輝顔料(E−2)が、ポリカーボネートジオール(A)、水酸基含有アクリル樹脂(B)、及びポリカプロラクトンポリオール(C)の総量に対して、3質量%〜25質量%の範囲で添加されることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の塗料組成物。
- 艶消し顔料(E−3)が、ポリカーボネートジオール(A)、水酸基含有アクリル樹脂(B)、及びポリカプロラクトンポリオール(C)の総量に対して、0.5質量%〜25質量%の範囲で添加されることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の塗料組成物。
- ポリカーボネートジオール(A)の、水酸基含有アクリル樹脂(B)及びポリカプロラクトンポリカプロラクトンポリオール(C)との混合物に対する配合比((A)/(B)+(C))が、90/10〜10/90(固形分質量比)であることを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の塗料組成物。
- 自動車の内装用に用いられることを特徴とする請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の塗料組成物。
