Abstract
【解決手段】前部サブフレームの延出部を、2枚の鉄鋼製の薄板206a、206bを積層して形成し、前部サブフレームのフランジ部204aとアルミニウム製の後部サブフレーム14のフランジ部40とが重ね合わせられ、重ね合わせ面にシール材58が塗布された状態で摩擦撹拌接合される。2枚の薄板206a、206bのうち、アルミニウム製の後部サブフレーム14と接合される薄板206aの端部には、折り曲げられて形成された折り曲げ部220が設けられると共に、折り曲げ部220側の端部において後部サブフレーム14よりも外部に向かって長く延出した延出部分222が設けられ、延出部分222は、シール材58によって被覆される。

Description
図示しない回転駆動源を用いて回転子52及び接合ピン54を一体的に回転させた状態で、アルミニウム合金等の軽金属製部材で形成された後部サブフレーム14の上面に徐々に近接させ、加圧力(押込力)によって接合ピン54の先端部を後部サブフレーム14の上面に当接(接触)させ回転進入させることにより、後部サブフレーム14に塑性流動域を生成する。
前部サブフレーム12と後部サブフレーム14との間に介装されたシール材58が左右両側(両側部)からはみ出して凹部42内に溜まるシール溜まり構造について、以下、図7に基づいて説明する。
図13は、本発明の実施形態に係るサブフレーム構造体が自動車の前部に組み込まれた状態を示す概略斜視図、図14は、本実施形態に係るサブフレーム構造体の分解斜視図、図15(a)は、本実施形態に係るサブフレーム構造体の平面図、図15(b)は、前記サブフレーム構造体から後部サブフレームを外した前部サブフレームの部分平面図、図16は、図15(a)のE−E線に沿った縦断面図、図17は、図15(a)のF−F線に沿った縦断面図、図18(a)は、図17(b)の部分拡大縦断面図、図18(b)は、曲げ方向が異なる折り曲げ部の変形例を示す部分拡大縦断面図、図19(a)〜(c)は、比較例において、シール材が剥離する状態を示す部分拡大縦断面図、図20(a)は、本実施形態に係るサブフレーム構造体において、前部サブフレーム及び後部サブフレームの各フランジ部を摩擦撹拌接合する状態を示す縦断面図、図20(b)は、摩擦撹拌接合部位の裏面の温度を測定した特性図、図20(c)は、摩擦撹拌接合後の状態を示す縦断面図である。

Claims (3)
- 薄板状の鉄製部材と薄板状の軽金属製部材とを一体的に接合して構成される異材接合構造体において、
前記鉄製部材は、2以上の鉄鋼製の薄板が積層されて形成され、
前記薄板には、前記軽金属製部材との接合前に電着塗装が施されることにより、前記軽金属製部材との接合面、前記薄板同士の積層面、及び、前記軽金属製部材との接合面と反対側の前記薄板の裏面に、それぞれ電着塗装膜が形成され、
前記鉄製部材と前記軽金属製部材とが重ね合わせられ、前記重ね合わせ面にシール材を塗布した状態で、前記重ね合わせ面の垂直方向で、且つ、前記軽金属製部材側から前記鉄製部材側に向かって摩擦撹拌接合用回転工具を回転挿入し、前記摩擦撹拌接合用回転工具が前記鉄製部材にまで回転挿入されて摩擦撹拌接合され、
前記2以上の鉄鋼製の薄板のうち、前記軽金属製部材と接合される薄板の端部には、折り曲げられて形成された折り曲げ部が設けられることを特徴とする異材接合構造体。 - 請求項1記載の異材接合構造体において、
前記軽金属製部材と接合される薄板の端部には、前記折り曲げ部側の端部において前記軽金属製部材よりも外部に向かって長く延出した延出部分が設けられ、前記延出部分は、前記シール材によって被覆されることを特徴とする異材接合構造体。 - 請求項1又は請求項2記載の異材接合構造体において、
前記折り曲げ部は、前記軽金属製部材の反対側に折り曲げられることを特徴とする異材接合構造体。
