Abstract

【課題】レーザー光を用いて溶着する際、溶着部外面に熱が発生することによる凸条が生じることを防ぎ、視覚的に高級感を与える樹脂製ビン容器の製造方法を提供する。
【課題の解決手段】 樹脂製ビン容器1は、ポリエステルなどの樹脂製であって、首部2、胴部3及び底部4を有してなり、前記胴部3の凸部6と前記首部2の切欠き凹部5を接合し、溶着部8対応部分に光透過性を有する耐熱性環状体7を密着させて被せ、レーザー光を前記環状体7を透過させて前記溶着部8に照射し溶着するものである。

Description

本発明は、首部、胴部及び底部を有し、レーザー溶着により一体化してなる、化粧水などの各種化粧料を収容するのに適したポリエステルなどの樹脂製ビン容器の製造方法に関する。
従来から、ポリエステルなどの樹脂製容器の製造方法として、レーザー光によって容器の各部材を溶着する方法が知られている(特許文献1)。

しかし、上記方法によると、図5に示すように、容器の溶着部分外周面にレーザー溶着時の熱による凸条11が生じ易く、特に容器自体の見栄えも重視される化粧料用容器においては、高級感を損なうという問題があった。
本発明は、レーザー溶着時に凸条が生じることを防いで、視覚的に高級感を与えるポリエステルなどの樹脂製のビン容器の製造方法を提供することを目的とする。
上記目的を達成するために、本発明の請求項1に係る樹脂製ビン容器の製造方法は、首部、胴部及び底部を有する樹脂製ビン容器において、前記胴部と前記首部、前記底部の少なくとも一方をレーザー溶着する樹脂製ビン容器の製造方法であって、レーザー光を照射する溶着部対応部分に光透過性を有する耐熱性環状体を密着させて被せ、レーザー光を前記環状体を透過させて前記溶着部に照射し溶着するものである。
同じく上記目的を達成するために、本発明の請求項2に係る樹脂製ビン容器の製造方法は、上記請求項1の構成において、前記樹脂製ビン容器は円筒状であり、レーザー光を照射する溶着部の接合面の一方には外周に切欠き凹部を形成し、他方には前記切欠き凹部に接合する凸部を形成し、前記凸部の先端内径を基端内径よりも小さく形成する一方、前記切欠き凹部の形状を前記凸部に倣って形成し、互いに密に接合するよう構成したものである。
請求項1記載の樹脂製ビン容器の製造方法によれば、溶着部対応部分に光透過性を有する耐熱性環状体を密着させて被せ、レーザー光を前記環状体を透過させて前記溶着部に照射して溶着するので、前記環状体によって容器外面にレーザー溶着時の熱による凸条が生じることを防ぎ、見栄えのよい、消費者に高級感を与える樹脂製ビン容器を提供できるという効果を奏する。
また、請求項2に記載の樹脂製ビン容器の製造方法によれば、請求項1に記載した発明の効果に加えて、円筒状樹脂製ビン容器においてレーザー光を照射する溶着部の接合面の一方には外周に切欠き凹部を形成し、他方には前記切欠き凹部に接合する凸部を形成し、前記凸部の先端内径を基端内径よりも小さく形成する一方、前記切欠き凹部の形状を前記凸部に倣って形成し、互いに密に接合するよう構成したので、両部の接合が確実になり、溶着前状態において離脱しにくいので溶着作業が容易になるという効果を奏する。

以下、本発明の好適な実施形態を添付図面に基づいて説明する。
図1に示すように、ビン容器1は、ポリエステル樹脂製で、首部2と、底部4を備えた胴部3を有する。前記首部2の上部の外周面には、雌ねじ部を内周面に有する蓋体(図示せず)で前記ビン容器1の開放上面を閉鎖するために、前記雌ねじ部と螺合する雄ねじ部2aを設けている。また、前記胴部3は一体形成された前記底部4を有する有底円筒形で、内部に化粧料を収納する空間を備えるものである。
また、図2に示すように、首部2の下端外周は、切欠いて胴部3の上端に接合するための切欠き凹部5を形成し、一方、胴部3の上端外周は、上方に突出させて前記切欠き凹部5に接合するための凸部6を形成している。前記凸部6の先端内径は、基端内径よりも小さく形成して前記切欠き凹部5との縦に伸びる接合面が傾斜するよう構成したため、傾斜をさせずに直状に構成した場合と比較して接合が確実で、溶着前状態において離脱しにくいので溶着作業が容易になる。
図3に示すように、環状体7は、光透過性を有する透明なガラス製である。また、前記環状体7は、レーザー溶着時の熱に耐えうるよう少なくとも150℃以上の耐熱性を有するものである。さらに、図4に示すように、前記環状体7の内周面は溶着部8外周面と密着するように設けられる。
このように構成したビン容器1の製造方法は、首部2の切欠き凹部5と胴部3の凸部6を密接し、その溶着部8外周面に環状体7を覆い被せて密着する。そして、赤外線レーザー光を環状体7を透過させて溶着部8に照射し、溶着する。この際、溶着時の熱により図5に示すような凸条11が外周面に発生しやすくなるが、環状体7が溶着部8外周面に密着して抑えているため、凸条11の発生を防ぎ、確実に溶着することができる。
なお、本発明は、上述の実施形態に限定されず、例えばビン容器1の溶着部8の形状は平面輪郭形状が多角形状でもよいものである。この場合は溶着部8の形状に倣った環状体7を密着して溶着する。また、環状体7は、ガラス製でなくとも耐熱性を有しレーザー光を透過する素材であればよく、レーザーの種類も適宜のものを使用可能である。さらに、首部2と胴部3を溶着するだけでなく、底部4と胴部3を溶着してビン容器1を製造することもできる。

Claims (2)

  1. 首部、胴部及び底部を有する樹脂製ビン容器において、前記胴部と前記首部、前記底部の少なくとも一方をレーザー溶着する樹脂製ビン容器の製造方法であって、レーザー光を照射する溶着部対応部分に光透過性を有する耐熱性環状体を密着させて被せ、レーザー光を前記環状体を透過させて前記溶着部に照射し溶着することを特徴とする樹脂製ビン容器の製造方法。
  2. 前記樹脂製ビン容器は円筒状であり、レーザー光を照射する溶着部の接合面の一方には外周に切欠き凹部を形成し、他方には前記切欠き凹部に接合する凸部を形成し、前記凸部の先端内径を基端内径よりも小さく形成する一方、前記切欠き凹部の形状を前記凸部に倣って形成し、互いに密に接合するよう構成したことを特徴とする請求項1記載の樹脂製ビン容器の製造方法。
