Claims (15)
- 肺の気道にエネルギーを送達するデバイスであって、該デバイスは、
それぞれの治療部位にエネルギーを送達するように構成された複数の電極を含む拡張可能な遠位部材と、
該複数の電極にエネルギーを供給するエネルギー供給装置と、
該複数の電極のうち隣接する電極の間の間隔、または、隣接する治療部位の間の距離の関数として、該エネルギー供給装置から該複数の電極への該エネルギーの供給を制御するように構成された制御器と
を含む、デバイス。 - 前記制御器は、前記エネルギー供給装置から前記複数の電極への前記エネルギーの供給を制御することにより、前記気道を所望の温度範囲まで加熱するようにさらに構成されている、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記所望の温度範囲は、非切除範囲である、請求項2に記載のデバイス。
- 前記気道の温度を測定するように構成された温度感知構成要素をさらに含む、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記制御器は、前記複数の電極のうち隣接する電極の間の間隔、または、隣接する治療部位の間の距離の関数として、前記エネルギー供給装置から該複数の電極への前記エネルギーの供給を変動させるようにさらに構成されている、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記複数の電極のうちの少なくとも1つは、治療前のエネルギーパルスを送達するように構成されており、該治療前のエネルギーパルスは、少なくとも1つの初期インピーダンス値を決定するために使用され、前記制御器は、該少なくとも1つの初期インピーダンス値の関数として前記エネルギー供給装置からの前記エネルギーの供給を変動させる、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記制御器は、第1の治療部位において、前記複数の電極のうち隣接する電極の間の間隔、または、隣接する治療部位の間の距離の関数として、前記エネルギー供給装置から該複数の電極への前記エネルギーの供給を制御するように構成され、第2の治療部位において、該複数の電極のうち隣接する電極の間の間隔、または、隣接する治療部位の間の距離の関数として、該エネルギー供給装置から該複数の電極への該エネルギーの供給を制御するように構成されている、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記制御器は、所望のインピーダンス値が到達するまで、前記エネルギー供給装置から前記複数の電極への電力の供給を制御するように構成されている、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記制御器は、所望の非切除範囲内にある温度に相関する所望のインピーダンス値に基づいて、前記エネルギー供給装置から前記複数の電極への電力を制御するようにさらに構成されており、該所望のインピーダンス値のうちの少なくとも1つは、該複数の電極のうち隣接する電極の間の間隔、および、隣接する治療部位の間の距離のうちの少なくとも1つに基づいて変動させられる、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記制御器は、前記エネルギー供給装置から前記複数の電極への電力の供給を制御することにより、前記肺の平滑筋組織、粘液腺、神経、上皮組織、または、血管の特性を変更するように構成されている、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記拡張可能な遠位部材は、複数のレッグを有する拡張可能なバスケットである、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記複数のレッグのうちの少なくとも1つは、電極である、請求項11に記載のデバイス。
- 前記電極は、前記少なくとも1つのレッグの露出部分から形成され、該レッグの隣接する部分は、絶縁材料によって被覆されている、請求項12に記載のデバイス。
- 前記複数のレッグの各々は、電極である、請求項12に記載のデバイス。
- 前記複数の電極は、単極性または双極性エネルギーを送達するように構成されている、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
