Abstract
【解決手段】上記LED照明器具用冷却装置は、一端部がLED照明器具と結合され、赤外線放出特性を有する粉末が混合された媒質を作動流体として用いるヒートパイプ、および上記ヒートパイプの他端部に設けられる放熱フィンを含む。上記LED照明器具用冷却装置を備えるLED照明器具は、金属材料からなり、冷却装置が結合される装着板、装着板に設けられ一つ以上のLEDが配列されたLED基板、およびLED基板に配列されたLEDを駆動するためのLED駆動回路を含む。上記LED照明器具は、街灯、集魚灯、投光灯などのように大きな光量が必要とされる室内灯又は屋外灯などに適用することができる。

Description
図3及び図4には、本発明に係る冷却装置が適用されたLED照明器具が示されている。図3は、街灯10に適用された場合であり、図4は、集魚灯20に適用された場合である。
Claims (17)
- LED(Light Emitting Diode)を用いたLED照明器具で発生する熱を放出させるための冷却装置であって、
一端部がLED照明器具と結合され、媒質と赤外線放出特性を有する粉末が混合された作動流体が内蔵されたヒートパイプ、及び前記ヒートパイプの他端部に設けられる放熱フィンを含み、前記ヒートパイプの内部空間の真空度は、冷却しようとする目標温度に応じて設定され、前記媒質は、体積を基準に前記ヒートパイプの内部空間の15%〜30%を占めるLED照明器具用冷却装置。 - 前記媒質は水よりも沸点が低い物質で構成され、前記粉末は体積を基準に前記ヒートパイプの内部空間の0.5%〜2%を占めることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のLED照明器具用冷却装置。
- 前記媒質は、メチルアルコール、アンモニア、メチルクロロホルム中の一つ以上を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のLED照明器具用冷却装置。
- 前記粉末は、ケイ酸塩鉱物の粉末、玉粉末、炭素粉末中の一つ以上を含み、前記粉末は、加熱される場合、前記媒質に吸収される帯域の赤外線を放出することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のLED照明器具用冷却装置。
- 前記粉末の粒子サイズは15〜150マイクロメートルであることを特徴とする 請求項1に記載のLED照明器具用冷却装置。
- 前記ヒートパイプの内部圧力は0.001〜0.0001mmhgであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のLED照明器具用冷却装置。
- 前記ヒートパイプは、ステンレス鋼からなり、パイプ形状を有し、前記放熱フィンはアルミニウム材質からなり、前記ヒートパイプは拡管されて前記放熱フィンと圧着される方法で互いに結合されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のLED照明器具用冷却装置。
- 前記ヒートパイプと前記LED照明器具の結合は、第1冷却フィンを備えた結合部材を介してなることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のLED照明器具用冷却装置。
- 前記結合部材は、前記ヒートパイプの拡管によって前記ヒートパイプと圧着される方法で結合されることを特徴とする請求項8に記載のLED照明器具用冷却装置。
- 請求項1〜請求項9のうちいずれか1項に記載のLED照明器具用冷却装置と、
金属材質からなり、前記LED照明器具用冷却装置が機械的な方法で結合される装着板と、
前記装着板に設けられ一つ以上のLEDが配列されたLED基板と、
前記LEDを駆動するためのLED駆動回路とを含むLED照明器具。 - 前記LEDは1W級以上の高出力LEDであることを特徴とする請求項10に記載のLED照明器具。
- 前記LED駆動回路は、前記LEDに最大駆動電流の60%以上の電流を供給することを特徴とする請求項10に記載のLED照明器具。
- 前記LEDの動作時、前記装着板の温度は20℃〜80℃の範囲の温度に維持されることを特徴とする請求項10に記載のLED照明器具。
- 前記LEDから放出される光を意図した照明方向に反射させるための反射板をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項10に記載のLED照明器具。
- 前記LED照明器具用冷却装置の対応する位置に熱を放出させるための放熱孔が備えられたハウジングをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項10に記載のLED照明器具。
- 前記LEDは3W級以上の高出力白色LEDであることを特徴とする請求項11に記載のLED照明器具。
- 前記LEDは、それぞれ1W級以上である高出力赤緑青(RGB)の単一チップLEDを組み合わせたマルチチップLEDであることを特徴とする請求項11に記載のLED照明器具。
