Abstract
【解決手段】本発明は、特に、複数のLEDが実装されたプリント回路基板と、上記LEDを収容する収容溝が備えられた光ガイド部材とを含み、上記光ガイド部材は、一面及び上記一面に対向する他面を含み、一面には、第1密度パターン領域と上記第1密度パターン領域よりもパターン密度が高い第2密度パターン領域とが形成され、上記第2密度パターン領域が上記LEDの光出射面に近い領域に配置されることが望ましい。
本発明によると、光ガイド部材の上部面に形成される高密度光学パターンを形成してLEDの光を拡散させ、ホットスポットを除去する一方、隣接する領域に低密度光学パターンを配置して光の伝達距離を向上させ、光取り出し効率を向上させる効果を実現することができる。

Description
以下、添付した図面を参照して本発明に係る構成及び作用を具体的に説明する。但し、本発明はこれらにより限定されるものではない。本明細書に亘って同じ構成要素に対しては同じ符号を付し、これについての重複説明は省略する。
図示したように、本発明に係る照明ユニットは、複数のLED120が実装されたプリント回路基板110と、上記LED120を収容する収容溝140が備えられた光ガイド部材130とを含んで構成され、特に、上記光ガイド部材の一面又は他面に密度調節が行われた光学パターン領域を備えることを特徴とする。上記LED120は、光の出射面121が、上記収容溝140の側壁方向に形成される側面発光型LED(side view LED)を用いることができ、即ち、LED光源130から出射される光の方向が直に上方に直進するのではなく、側辺に向けて出射する構造の光源を用いることができる。上記収容溝140と上記LEDとの離隔距離dは、100mm以下の範囲で形成することが望ましい。
上述した図2を参照して説明した一実現例に加えて、本発明に係る実施例では、光ガイド部材の一面に対向する他面上に光学パターンを形成できる。特に、光ガイド部材の他面に形成される光学パターンも、独立した形状の光学パターンの重畳構造又は独立構造で形成することができ、但し、凹状構造で光ガイド部材に直接形成されることが望ましい。
以下では、第1の実施例で形成した第1及び第2密度パターン領域の他の実施例を説明する。
Claims (15)
- 複数のLEDが実装されたプリント回路基板と、
上記LEDを収容する収容溝が備えられた光ガイド部材とを含み、
上記光ガイド部材は、一面及び上記一面に対向する他面を含み、
上記一面には、第1密度パターン領域と上記第1密度パターン領域よりもパターン密度が高い第2密度パターン領域とが形成され、
上記第2密度パターン領域が、上記第1密度パターン領域よりも上記LEDの光出射面に近い領域に配置される照明ユニット。 - 上記第1及び第2密度パターン領域は、
複数の凸状構造(relief structure)の突出パターンが互いに重なるか、又は互いに離隔して形成される請求項1に記載の照明ユニット。 - 上記凸状構造の突出パターンは、
多角錐状のパターン又は半球状のパターンである請求項2に記載の照明ユニット。 - 上記第1密度パターン領域は、上記光ガイド部材の第1方向に形成された第1光学パターン又は上記光ガイド部材の第2方向に形成された第2光学パターンからなり、
上記第2密度パターン領域は、上記第1及び第2光学パターンの交差パターンからなる請求項1に記載の照明ユニット。 - 上記第1光学パターン又は第2光学パターンは、
凸状構造の突出パターンがライン状に形成される請求項4に記載の照明ユニット。 - 上記凸状構造の突出パターンは、
多角錐状のラインパターン又は半球状のラインパターンである請求項5に記載のバックライトユニット。 - 上記光ガイド部材の他面には、
第3密度パターン領域と上記第3密度パターン領域よりもパターン密度が高い第4密度パターン領域とが形成され、
上記第3密度パターン領域が第4密度パターン領域よりも上記LEDの光出射面に近い領域に配置される請求項1に記載の照明ユニット。 - 上記第3及び第4密度パターン領域は、複数の凹状構造(engraving structure)のパターンが互いに重なるか、又は互いに離隔して形成される請求項7に記載の照明ユニット。
- 上記凹状構造のパターンは、
光ガイド部材の表面の内部方向に凹状構造の多角錐状のパターン又は半球状のパターンが形成される請求項8に記載の照明ユニット。 - 上記第1〜第4密度パターン領域は、
凸状又は凹状の多角錐状のパターンを含んで形成され、
上記多角錐状のパターンの下部傾斜角(σ)が35〜70度の値を備える請求項7に記載の照明ユニット。 - 上記第1及び第2密度パターン領域は、
000の多角錐状のパターンを含んで形成され、
上記第1密度パターン領域を構成する上記多角錐状のパターンの下部傾斜角(σ)は、35〜50度、上記第2密度パターン領域を構成する上記多角錐状のパターンの下部傾斜角(σ)は、50〜70度の値を備える請求項1に記載の照明ユニット。 - 上記第3及び第4密度パターン領域は、
凹状の多角錐状のパターンを含んで形成され、
上記第3密度パターン領域を構成する上記多角錐状のパターンの下部傾斜角(σ)は、35〜50度、上記第4密度パターン領域を構成する上記多角錐状のパターンの下部傾斜角(σ)は、50〜70度の値を備える請求項7に記載の照明ユニット。 - 上記第2密度パターン領域は、
上記収容溝の形成位置の垂直上部方向の光ガイド部材の表面に形成され、
隣接する収容溝までの第1距離(d1)の1/5以内の領域に形成される請求項7に記載の照明ユニット。 - 上記第3密度パターン領域は、
少なくとも2以上を備える請求項13に記載の照明ユニット。 - 上記収容溝と上記LEDとの離隔距離は100mm以下の範囲で形成される請求項12に記載の照明ユニット。
