Abstract
Description
する中実プレート付燃料電池である。燃料入口51での露点は、53℃である。カソード用加湿器の温度は室温(約25℃)であり、酸化剤入口55での相対湿度は約7%である。
Claims (12)
- 燃料流において燃料電池から流出する第1の量の水が、酸化剤流において前記燃料電池から流出する第2の量の水と概ね等しくなるように、前記燃料電池に流入する燃料の量、前記燃料電池に流入する酸化剤の量、またはこれらの双方を調節することを含む、燃料電池内の流体の供給を制御するように燃料電池を動作する方法。
- 前記燃料流/前記酸化剤流の割合が約1であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記燃料流は、前記燃料電池の出口からの再循環燃料の一部を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 燃料電池アッセンブリの膜内の水を増加させるように、前記燃料流において前記燃料電池アッセンブリから流出する水を、前記酸化剤流において前記燃料電池アッセンブリから流出する水と釣り合わせることを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 燃料が、第1の方向に前記燃料電池を通して通流し、空気が、前記第1の方向とは反対の第2の方向に、前記燃料電池を通して通流することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 電極アッセンブリと、
前記電極アッセンブリに隣接し、燃料入口から燃料出口へと第1の方向に燃料を通流させるように構成されてなる第1のプレートであって、第1の量の水および少なくともいくらかの前記燃料が、前記燃料出口において前記燃料電池から排出される、第1のプレートと、
前記第1のプレートとは反対の前記電極アッセンブリの側で前記電極アッセンブリに隣接し、酸化剤入口から酸化剤出口へと第2の方向に酸化剤を運ぶように構成されてなる第2のプレートであって、第2の量の水および少なくともいくらかの前記酸化剤が、前記酸化剤出口において前記燃料電池から排出され、前記第1の量の水が前記第2の量の水と概ね等しい、第2のプレートと、
を備えた燃料電池。 - 前記第1の方向は前記第2の方向とは反対であることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の燃料電池。
- 前記第1のプレートまたは前記第2のプレートの一方は中実プレートであることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の燃料電池。
- 燃料電池の電極アッセンブリと、
前記電極アッセンブリに隣接し、燃料入口から燃料出口へと第1の方向に燃料を通流させるように構成された少なくとも1つの第1のチャネルを備えてなる第1のプレートであって、前記少なくとも1つの第1のチャネルを通流する燃料の体積流れが、燃料電池内で水を再供給するように増加される、第1のプレートと、
前記第1のプレートとは反対の前記電極アッセンブリの側で前記電極アッセンブリに隣接し、酸化剤入口から酸化剤出口へと第2の方向に酸化剤を運ぶように構成された少なくとも1つの第2のチャネルを備えてなる第2のプレートであって、前記少なくとも1つの第2のチャネルを通流する酸化剤の体積流れが、燃料電池内で水を再供給するように一定に維持される、第2のプレートと、
を備えた燃料電池。 - 前記第1の方向は前記第2の方向とは反対であることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の燃料電池。
- 前記第1のプレートまたは前記第2のプレートの一方は中実プレートであることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の燃料電池。
- 前記第1のチャネルの深さ対前記第2のチャネルの深さの比が、1対3であることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の燃料電池。
