Claims (14)
- 光学系と処理システムとを備える表示システムであって、
前記光学系が、
フーリエ領域においてホログラフィックデータを表示するように配置された空間光変調器と、
前記空間光変調器を照明するように配置された光源と、
前記ホログラフィックデータに対応する空間領域における2次元ホログラフィック再構成を生成するように配置されたフーリエ変換レンズと、
前記2次元ホログラフィック再構成の仮想画像を生成するように配置された目視システムと
を備え、
前記処理システムが、
2次元画像を表すフーリエ領域データを、位相のみのレンズを表すフーリエ領域データと組み合わせて第1のホログラフィックデータを生成し、前記第1のホログラフィックデータを前記光学系へ提供して仮想画像を生成するように配置されている
表示システム。 - 前記処理システムが、第2の2次元画像を表すフーリエ領域データを、第2の位相のみのレンズを表すフーリエ領域データと組み合わせて第2のホログラフィックデータを生成し、前記第2のホログラフィックデータを前記光学系へ提供して第2の仮想画像を生成するように配置されており、
前記第1および第2の仮想画像が、異なる位置において再生場を形成するように相互に対して空間的に変位されている、請求項1に記載の表示システム。 - 前記空間光変調器が画素化された回折素子のアレイを備える、請求項1に記載の表示システム。
- 前記第1および第2の仮想画像が目視者に同時に存在するように見える、請求項1および2に記載の表示システム。
- 前記空間光変調器が反射LCOS空間光変調器である請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の表示システム。
- 前記位相のみのレンズの光パワーがユーザ制御され得る、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の表示システム。
- 前記第1の位相のみのレンズが第1の光パワーを有し、前記第2の位相のみのレンズが、前記第1の位相のみのレンズと異なる第2の光パワーを有する、請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の表示システム。
- HUDを構成する請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載の表示システム。
- 前記再生場が前記目視者から空間的に遠い、請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載の表示システム。
- 前記2次元ホログラフィック再構成の少なくとも1つの回折次数、任意選択でゼロ次を選択的に遮断するように構成された空間フィルタをさらに備える、請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載の表示システム。
- 前記仮想画像が2次元ビデオの連続フレームである、請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載の表示システム。
- 前記画素化アレイが直径15μm未満の画素からなる、請求項1〜11のいずれか一項に記載の表示システム。
- 画像を表示する方法であって、
第1および第2の画像を表すデータを含むホログラフィック画像データと、レンズ法データとを組み合わせて空間光変調器へ送るステップと、
前記空間光変調器を照明するステップと、
結果として得られる光を、仮想画像を形成するための光学系に当てるステップと、
前記第1および第2の画像を、異なる位置において再生場を形成するために、フーリエ変換により相互に対して空間的に変位された位置において再構成するステップと
を含む方法。 - 前記2次元ホログラフィック再構成の少なくとも1つの回折次数を選択的に遮断するために、前記SLMから結果として得られる光を空間的にフィルタリングするステップ
をさらに含む、請求項13に記載の方法。
