Claims (28)
- 少なくとも1層の電気絶縁膜と、該電気絶縁膜上に連続して配置され、多孔質のイオン透過性セパレータによって離隔された交流で反対極性の電極シートとを含む多素子電気化学キャパシタであって、該電極シートと多孔質セパレータを巻回してロールにし、前記電極シート其々は、気孔率が高い高分子不織材の基板とし、金属又は金属化合物のナノ粒子、又はレドックスポリマを含有する電気化学活性層の形で前記基板の片側又は両側に取り付けられる、又は前記基板内に埋め込まれる少なくとも1つの電極を備え、前記反対極性の電極シートの電極は、異なる種類のナノ構造カーボン材製とし、前記ナノ構造カーボン材料の片方は、比表面積を出来るだけ広く且つ導電率を比較的低くし、もう片方のナノ構造カーボン材料は、比表面積を比較的広く且つ導電率を比較的高くし、前記キャパシタは、中心電極及び外周電極に接続するよう適合された接触電極を更に含むことを特徴とするキャパシタ。
- 前記基板を、電解液中で化学的に及び電気化学的に不活性な電子不浸透性且つイオン不浸透性材料製とすることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のキャパシタ。
- 数層のカーボンナノチューブを、片方のナノ構造材料とし、活性カーボン、活性カーボンブラック、金属含浸カーボン、及びTi、B及びSi等の金属炭化物系ナノポーラス材料を、もう片方のナノ構造材料とすることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のキャパシタ。
- 前記電極シートの正電極材料は、マンガン、水銀、銀、ニッケルといった金属のナノ粒子、及び二酸化マンガン、水酸化マンガン、酸化水銀、酸化銀、酸化鉛、硫酸鉛、水酸化ニッケル、リチウムコバルト酸化物といった金属化合物のナノ粒子を含有し、前記電極シートの負電極材料は、亜鉛、鉛、カドミウム、鉄、リチウムといった金属のナノ粒子、及び水酸化亜鉛、塩化亜鉛、硫酸鉛、水酸化カドミウム、水酸化鉄といった金属化合物のナノ粒子を含有することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のキャパシタ。
- 前記電気絶縁膜と接触する前記電極シートを、該電極シートの電気化学活性層が、前記電気絶縁膜から見て上向きになる状態で配置し、次の前記電極シートを、該電極シートの電気化学活性層の幅半分ずらし、前記電極シートの前記電気化学活性層を互いに対面させ、多孔質のイオン透過性セパレータによって離間することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のキャパシタ。
- 前記電極シートの前記電極を、前記基板に連続して付着することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のキャパシタ。
- 前記ロールの外面を、接触電極によって前記外周電極に接続し、前記ロールを、金属管製の前記外周電極に配置し、前記外周電極の端面にはカバーを備えることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のキャパシタ。
- 多素子電気化学キャパシタを製造する方法であって、該方法は、
異なる種類のナノ構造カーボン材料を含有する電極混合物を作製し、前記ナノ構造カーボン材料の片方は、比表面積を出来るだけ広く且つ導電率を比較的低くし、他方のナノ構造カーボン材料は、比表面積を比較的広く且つ導電率を比較的高くし、
電極混合物を、気孔率が高い不織高分子材料製の基板の片面若しくは両面に塗布して、又は前記基板内に埋め込んで、反対極性の電極シートを製造し、
前記基板上に、金属又は金属化合物のナノ粒子、又はレドックスポリマを含有する電気化学活性層を作製し、
前記電気絶縁膜の少なくとも1層上に、多孔質のイオン透過性セパレータによって離隔した反対極性の電極シートを連続的に配置し、
前記層を中心電極の周りに巻回してロールにし、
前記ロールの外面を、外周電極に接続し、
前記ロールを電解液に含浸させること、を特徴とする方法。 - 前記ロールの前記外面を、前記外周電極に挿入する前記ロールの前記外面を形成する接触電極によって前記外周電極に接続し、前記外周電極の端面を、前記ロールを電解液に含浸した後に、電気絶縁材料製カバーで密封することを特徴とする請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記中心電極と前記外周電極を、アルミニウム及びアルミニウム合金の管体製とし、前記カバーをプラスチック製とすることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の方法。
- 数層のカーボンナノチューブを、片方のナノ構造カーボン材料として使用し、活性カーボン、活性カーボンブラック、金属含浸カーボン、及びTi、B及びSi等の金属炭化物系ナノポーラスカーボン材料を、他方のナノ構造カーボン材料として使用することを特徴とする、請求項8に記載のキャパシタ。
- 炭化水素ガスと水素ガスとの混合物を熱分解することによって作製した数層のカーボンナノチューブを使用し、該カーボンナノチューブの大きさを5〜50nm、比表面積を500〜1,000m2/g、比導電率を10〜100Sm/cmとする請求項11に記載の方法。
- 炭化水素ガスと水素ガスの混合物の熱分解を、650〜900°Cの温度範囲内、0.1〜1.0MPaの圧力範囲内に維持して行い、コバルト系化合物及びモリブデン系化合物を、触媒として使用し、天然ガス又はプロパン、又はブタン、又はエチレンを、炭化水素ガスとして使用することを特徴とする請求項12に記載の方法。
- 芳香族炭化水素とアルコールの混合物を熱分解することによって作製した数層のカーボンナノチューブを使用する請求項11に記載の方法。
- 芳香族炭化水素とアルコールの混合物の熱分解を、650〜900°Cの温度範囲内、0.1〜1.0MPaの圧力範囲内に維持して行い、鉄系化合物、ニッケル系化合物、及び酸化マグネシウム系化合物を、触媒として使用し、ベンゼン及びトルエンを、芳香族炭化水素として使用し、エタノールをアルコールとして使用することを特徴とする請求項14に記載の方法。
- 数層の前記カーボンナノチューブを、酸化剤、超音波、及び超臨界状態の水で更に処理することを特徴とする請求項12乃至15のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 合成モノマーを湿式形成した後、600〜1,000°Cの温度で炭化、高温の蒸気−ガス活性させて作製した活性カーボンを更に使用する、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 温度600〜1,200°Cで、塩素による更なる高温の熱化学処理を行う、ホウ素、チタニウム、及び炭化ケイ素から得られるナノポーラスカーボン材料を更に使用する、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 電極混合物を、数層のカーボンナノチューブと活性カーボンを、1:3〜3:1の割合で、ボールミル内で混合し、通常のメッシュサイズが100nmの篩で篩別し、前記電極混合物に均一度を最大にするために超音波で処理して、約10〜100nmの大きさの粒状物を作製することを特徴とする、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記電極シートの前記正電極材料を、マンガン、水銀、銀、ニッケルといった金属のナノ粒子、及び二酸化マンガン、水酸化マンガン、酸化水銀、酸化銀、酸化鉛、硫酸鉛、水酸化ニッケル、リチウムコバルト酸化物といった金属化合物のナノ粒子から製造し、前記負電極材料を、亜鉛、鉛、カドミウム、鉄、リチウムといった金属のナノ粒子、及び水酸化亜鉛、塩化亜鉛、硫酸鉛、水酸化カドミウム、水酸化鉄といった金属化合物のナノ粒子から製造することを特徴とする、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 電極シートを、超音波によって有機溶媒中に分散させた電極混合物の懸濁物を、基板に塗布して、製造することを特徴とする、請求項8に記載の方法。
- イソプロパノール又はエタノールを、有機溶媒として使用することを特徴とする、請求項21に記載の方法。
- 前記電極混合物を粉体形状で、静電力の作用下で前記基板に塗布することを特徴とする、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記結果的に得られた電極シートを、前記電極混合物を前記電極シートに塗布した後に、グラファイト箔等の接触電極に配置し、温度120〜150°Cに加熱し、圧力0.5〜1.0Mpaで加圧することを特徴とする、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 1〜4層から成る前記多孔質セパレータを、厚さ3〜5mm、気孔率20〜40%、孔径0.05〜0.1mmの高分子膜から製造した連続した膜(track membrane)、又は厚さ10mm、密度15〜40mg/cm2のポリプロピレン等の不織高分子材料のシート、又は電解液に含浸させ、電解液3〜10質量パーセントを含む、厚さ10〜15mmのポリベンゾイミダゾールから、製造したイオン透過性高分子膜とすることを特徴とする、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記ロールを含浸するのに使用する前記電解液を、アセトニトリル、又はプロピレンカーボネート、又はホルムアミド中に、アンモニウム系若しくはイミダゾール系陽イオン、及び四フッ化ホウ酸、六フッ化リン酸又はトリフルイミド(triflatimide)、又はビストリフルイミド(bistriflatimide)、又はトリス(ペンタフルオロエチル)三フッ化リン酸を含む陰イオンを含有する有機塩溶液を含む有機電解液、或いはカリウムアルカリ水溶液等の無機電解液とすることを特徴とする、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記ロールを、真空槽で、残留圧力10Paで電解液に含浸することを特徴とする、請求項8又は26に記載の方法。
- 複数の平行な電極シートを、巻回してロールにし、平行六面体又は円筒形のケーシング内に配置することを特徴とする、請求項8に記載の方法。
