Claims (19)

  1. 眼を画像化する方法であって、
    スペクトル領域光コヒーレンス・トモグラフィ(SD−OCT)画像化システムに対して、第1構造及び第2構造を有する眼を位置決めするステップと、
    前記SD−OCT画像化システムで前記眼を画像化するステップであって、
    前記第1眼構造の直接画像又は鏡像の一方を選択して、前記第1眼構造の選択画像に対応する第1画像部分を生成するステップと、
    前記第2眼構造の直接画像又は鏡像の一方を選択して、前記第2眼構造の選択画像に対応する第2画像部分を生成するステップと、
    前記第1構造及び第2構造の非選択画像を抑制するステップと
    によって、前記SD−OCT画像化システムで前記眼を画像化するステップと
    を含む、眼を画像化する方法。
  2. 前記非選択画像を抑制するステップが、
    生成された非選択画像の表示を防止するステップと、
    前記非選択画像を表示することなしに該非選択画像を生成するステップと、
    前記非選択画像を生成するのを防止するための計算ステップを実施するステップと、
    上記ステップの組み合わせと
    のうちの少なくとも1つを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
  3. 前記眼を画像化するステップが、
    前記第1眼構造及び第2眼構造の直接画像及び鏡像が互いから区別されうるように、対応する画像深さにおいて前記第1眼構造及び第2眼構造の直接画像及び鏡像を生成すべく、前記SD−OCT画像化システムの参照深さを調節するステップを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
  4. 前記第1眼構造及び第2眼構造の直接画像及び鏡像を区別するステップが、
    前記画像の空間分離を認識するステップと、
    パターン認識アプローチを適用するステップと、
    前記画像の信号特性を区別するステップと、
    前記眼に関する既存の知識を活用するステップと、
    診断に基づく前記眼に関する知識を活用するステップと、
    上記ステップの組み合わせと
    のうちの少なくとも1つを含む、請求項3に記載の方法。
  5. 前記参照深さを調節するステップと前記第1眼構造及び第2眼構造の直接画像及び鏡像を区別するステップとが反復して行われる、請求項3に記載の方法。
  6. 前記第1構造が前記眼の水晶体の前嚢層であり、
    前記第2構造が前記眼の水晶体の後嚢層である、請求項3に記載の方法。
  7. 前記眼を画像化するステップは、
    前記第1画像部分、前記第2画像部分、及び角膜画像の深さ配列が、
    前記角膜の直接画像−前記前嚢層の直接画像−前記後嚢層の鏡像と、
    前記角膜の直接画像−前記後嚢層の鏡像−前記前嚢層の直接画像と、
    前記後嚢層の鏡像−前記角膜の直接画像−前記前嚢層の直接画像と
    のうちの1つであるように、前記SD−OCT画像化システムの参照深さを調節するステップを含む、請求項6に記載の方法。
  8. 前記参照深さを調節するステップが、
    前記SD−OCT画像化システムの参照ミラーの位置を調節するステップと、
    前記SD−OCT画像化システムの遅延要素をチューニングするステップと、
    上記ステップの組み合わせと
    のうちの1つを含む、請求項3に記載の方法。
  9. 前記眼を画像化するステップが、結果として前記第1構造及び第2構造が画像化範囲内に配置されるようにするために、前記参照深さの周りの画像化範囲を調節することを含む、請求項3に記載の方法。
  10. 前記調節するステップが前記画像化範囲を0〜15mmの範囲内に調節することを含む、請求項9に記載の方法。
  11. 前記眼を位置決めするステップが、
    前記SD−OCT画像化システムのインターフェイスに前記眼をドッキングさせるステップと、
    前記眼を固定化するステップと、
    前記SD−OCT画像化システムに対する前記眼の動作範囲を最小化するステップと、
    上記ステップの組み合わせと
    のうちの少なくとも1つを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
  12. 前記SD−OCT画像化システムがスペクトロメータ・ベース型OCT(SB−OCT)画像化システム及びスウェプト・ソース型OCT(SS−OCT)画像化システムのうちの一方である、請求項1に記載の方法。
  13. 前記眼を画像化するステップが、
    単一のz走査を形成するステップと、
    平面状のz走査を形成するステップと、
    走査線に沿ってz走査を形成するステップと、
    ラスターパターンでz走査を形成するステップと、
    上記ステップの組み合わせと
    のうちの少なくとも1つを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
  14. スペクトル領域光コヒーレンス・トモグラフィ(SD−OCT)画像化システムを含む、眼を画像化する画像化システムであって:
    前記SD−OCT画像化システムが、
    第1構造及び第2構造を有する前記眼を該SD−OCT画像化システムに対して位置決めし、
    前記第1構造の直接画像及び鏡像から選択された第1画像部分を生成し、
    前記第2構造の直接画像及び鏡像から選択された第2画像部分を生成し、且つ
    前記第1構造及び第2構造の非選択画像を抑制する、眼を画像化する画像化システム。
  15. 前記SD−OCT画像化システムが、
    画像化光を出力する画像化光源と、
    前記画像化光を画像化ビームと参照ビームとに分割し且つ戻り画像化光部分と戻り参照光部分とを統一して干渉光にする、1つ以上のビーム・スプリッタと、
    参照距離に対して比例する時間差で、前記参照光部分を戻す参照デバイスと、
    前記干渉光を受容して前記眼のSD−OCT画像を生成する干渉アナライザと
    を含む、請求項14に記載の画像化システム。
  16. 前記SD−OCTがスペクトロメータ・ベース型OCT(SB−OCT)又はスウェプト・ソース型OCT(SS−OCT)のうちの一方である、請求項15に記載の画像化システム。
  17. 前記第1構造が前記眼の水晶体の前嚢層であり、
    前記第2構造が前記眼の水晶体の後嚢層であり、
    前記参照距離は、
    前記第1画像部分、前記第2画像部分、及び角膜画像の深さ配列が、
    前記後嚢層の鏡像−前記前嚢層の直接画像−前記角膜の直接画像と、
    前記前嚢層の直接画像−前記後嚢層の鏡像−前記角膜の直接画像と、
    前記前嚢層の直接画像−前記角膜の直接画像−前記後嚢層の鏡像と
    のうちの1つであるように、前記参照深さを設定するために調節可能である、請求項15に記載の画像化システム。
  18. 前記第1構造が前記眼の水晶体の前嚢層であり、
    前記第2構造が前記眼の水晶体の後嚢層であり、
    前記参照距離は、
    前記第1画像部分、前記第2画像部分、及び角膜画像の深さ配列が、
    前記後嚢層の直接画像−前記前嚢層の鏡像−前記角膜の鏡像と、
    前記前嚢層の鏡像−前記後嚢層の直接画像−前記角膜の鏡像と、
    前記前嚢層の鏡像−前記角膜の鏡像−前記後嚢層の直接画像と
    のうちの1つであるように、前記参照深さを設定するために調節可能である、請求項15に記載の画像化システム。
  19. 前記参照距離が、前記参照深さを2〜15mmの範囲内に制御するように調節可能である、請求項15に記載の画像化システム。
