本明細書の具体例としての実施形態が以下の実施例において与えられる。下記の実施例は、本明細書の例証として提示され、当業者が同じものを作製して使用するのを助けるために提示される。実施例は、決して本明細書の範囲の制限を意図するものではない。
腸溶性コーティング組成物は、下記の手順を用いて医薬品もしくは栄養補助食品に塗布することができる。約10 kgから約15 kgの医薬品もしくは栄養補助食品を、出入口のあるコーティングパン、たとえば24インチサイドベント型コーティングパン(Compu-Lab 242)に装填する。48インチサイドベント型コーティングパン(Compu-Lab 48)は、約100 kgから約150 kgまでの装填に適していると考えられる。60インチサイドベント型コーティングパン(Compu-Lab 60)は、約300 kgから約350 kgまでの装填に適していると考えられる。腸溶性コーティング組成物は、下記の条件下で医薬品もしくは栄養補助食品に塗布することができる。入口温度は、約40℃から約65℃まで、出口温度は約28℃から約45℃まで、噴霧圧力は約15 psiから約40 psiまで、空気の体積は約50 cfmから約500 cfmまで、パン回転速度は約3 rpmから約11 rpmまで、スプレー速度は約30 g/分から約100 g/分まで、溶液固形分は約10%から約15%まで、重量増加は約2.5%から約4/5%まで、コーティング効率は約75%から約99%まで、そしてコーティング時間は約60分から約180分までとすることができる。これらの処理条件を表1にまとめる。
腸溶性コーティング組成物は、分散撹拌器(dispersator)または高剪断オーバーヘッドミキサーを用いて3.240 kgの水に渦を作り出した後、その水の渦に0.135 kgの実施例4c組成物をゆっくりと添加することによって調製した。成分を少なくとも30分間混合して、水性混合物とした。混合を継続しながら、1.125 kgの実施例4b組成物を水性混合物に添加した。すべての成分を少なくともさらに10分間混合して、腸溶性コーティング組成物とした。複数成分腸溶性コーティング組成物を下記の表にまとめる。
Best Acrycoat L30D(メタクリル酸コポリマー、Blanverより発売)を用いて、Omega Pure 600 (大型の長楕円形ソフトカプセル、〜1インチ)、Product SG2692、Lot C09042(Best Formulationsより発売)をコーティングした。製品は次のように調製して評価した。

Aquarius EN SCM 19142 Clear(Aqualonより発売)を用いて、Omega Smart(小型の長円形のソフトカプセル、〜1/2インチ)、Product JH0421、Lot J07033(Best Formulationsより発売)をコーティングした。製品は次のように調製して評価した。
1% 実施例4c組成物および5% 実施例4b組成物を含有する腸溶性コーティング組成物を、下記のパラメーターを用いて2ピースカプセル上にコーティングし、重量増加が5、7.5、10、および12% に達したらサンプルを取り出した。
Claims (42)
- 約0.01%から約10%までの樹脂、および約0.01%から約10%までのポリマーを含有する、腸溶性コーティング組成物。
- 樹脂に、シェラックが含まれる、請求項1に記載の腸溶性コーティング組成物。
- シェラックに、アンモニア処理されたシェラックが含まれる、請求項2に記載の腸溶性コーティング組成物。
- ポリマーに、アルギン酸塩が含まれる、請求項1に記載の腸溶性コーティング組成物。
- アルギン酸塩に、アルギン酸ナトリウムが含まれる、請求項4に記載の腸溶性コーティング組成物。
- 約1%から約7%までの樹脂を含有する、請求項1に記載の腸溶性コーティング組成物。
- 約0.02%から約4%までのポリマーを含有する、請求項1に記載の腸溶性コーティング組成物。
- 樹脂にシェラックが含まれ、かつ、ポリマーにアルギン酸塩が含まれる、請求項1に記載の腸溶性コーティング組成物。
- グリセリン、アセチル化モノグリセリド、ポリソルベート80、ステアリン酸、およびそれらの組み合わせ、のいずれか1つを含む可塑剤をさらに含有する、請求項1に記載の腸溶性コーティング組成物。
- 組成物のpHが約6から約8までである、請求項1に記載の腸溶性コーティング組成物。
- a. 樹脂を含む第1成分、および
b. ポリマーを含む第2成分、
を含有する、複数成分系であって、
この第1成分および第2成分を含有する混合物が、約0.01%から約10%までの樹脂、および約0.01%から約10%までのポリマーを含有する腸溶性コーティング組成物を形成する、
前記複数成分系。 - 樹脂に、シェラックが含まれる、請求項11に記載の複数成分系。
- ポリマーに、アルギン酸塩が含まれる、請求項11に記載の複数成分系。
- 第1成分が、グリセリン、アセチル化モノグリセリド、ポリソルベート80、ステアリン酸、およびそれらの組み合わせ、のいずれか1つを含む可塑剤をさらに含有する、請求項11に記載の複数成分系。
- 第1成分が約5%から約50%までの樹脂を含み、第2成分が約0.1%から約30%までのポリマーを含んでいる、請求項11に記載の複数成分系。
- 樹脂にはシェラックが含まれ、かつ、ポリマーにはアルギン酸塩が含まれる、請求項11に記載の複数成分系。
- 腸溶性コーティング組成物で被覆された、医薬作用物質もしくは栄養補助作用物質を含む医薬品もしくは栄養補助食品であって、この腸溶性コーティング組成物が約0.01% から約10%の樹脂、または約0.01%から約10%のアルギン酸塩を含有している、前記医薬品もしくは栄養補助食品。
- 医薬品が医薬作用物質を含む、請求項17に記載の医薬品もしくは栄養補助食品。
- 栄養補助食品が栄養補助作用物質を含む、請求項17に記載の医薬品もしくは栄養補助食品。
- 医薬品もしくは栄養補助食品が、カプセル、錠剤、またはソフトカプセルの形をとる、請求項17に記載の医薬品もしくは栄養補助食品。
- 樹脂にシェラックが含まれる、請求項17に記載の医薬品もしくは栄養補助食品。
- 製品を製造する方法であって、その方法は、基材に腸溶性コーティング組成物を塗布して、その基材上に腸溶性コーティングを形成させることを含んでおり、その腸溶性コーティング組成物は、約0.01% から約10%の樹脂、または約0.01%から約10%のポリマーを含有する、前記方法。
