[0055] 香味の放出をプロファイルするため、以下の条件下で静的ヘッドスペースGC−MS実験を行った:2mLの試料を、バイアル中のヘッドスペースの空気から香味化合物が漏れるのを防ぐように特別に設計された20mLスクリューキャップバイアルの中に装填した。その試料を、恒温器中で370℃において穏やかな撹拌の下で設定された期間(スラリーに関して10分間、および練り歯磨きに関して1時間)の間平衡化させた。平衡化の後、2.5mLヘッドスペース注射器を利用して、Gerstel MPS2自動注入システムを用いた自動化された注入により、そのフラスコから300μLのヘッドスペースの空気を集めた。次いで、揮発した香味化合物を含有するHSの空気の分割量(aliquot)を、5%ジフェニル−ポリシロキサンおよび95%ジメチル−ポリシロキサンを詰め込んだ、0.25mm×250μm×0.25μmのカラム直径を有するAgilent GCカラム(モデル# 19091S−433)中に注入した。そのカラムを一定流量モードで動かし、MSD検出器を利用し、ヘリウムをキャリヤーガスとして利用した。オーブン温度の勾配は20℃/分で40から250℃までであり、最初のホールド時間は40℃で1.5分間であった。注入口はスプリットレスモードに設定し、総運転時間は12.50分間であった。

Claims (11)
- その場で生成されたゲル/沈降シリカ複合体および配合物の約0.6重量%までの量の有効量の香味料を含む歯磨配合物であって、前記の複合体が10〜30体積%のシリカゲル/沈降物複合体を含み、約60から約110m2/gまでのCTAB表面積および約0.7から約1.0までのCTAB表面積の吸油量に対する比率を示す、前記歯磨配合物。
- その場で生成されたゲル/沈降物複合体が、約9〜約14ミクロンの粒径の中央値の範囲を有する粒子の形である、請求項1に記載の歯磨剤。
- その複合体が約85から約110m2/gまでのCTAB表面積を示す、請求項1または請求項2に記載の歯磨剤。
- 前記の複合体が80〜130ml/100gの亜麻仁油吸収量を有する、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の歯磨剤。
- 前記の組成物が約81から約100までのPCR(ペリクル洗浄比)値、約75から約135までのRDA(放射性象牙質研磨)レベル、および約0.70から約1.25までのPCR対RDA比を有する、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の歯磨剤。
- さらに有効量の香味化合物を含み、その香味化合物が2.0以上の分配の対数(log P)の値を示す、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の歯磨剤。
- その香味化合物がカルボンラエボ(Carvone Laevo)、ケイ皮アルデヒド、ユージノール、メントール、サリチル酸メチル、ユーカリプトール、メントン、イソメントン、アネトール、酢酸メンチル、リモネン、およびそれらの混合物からなるグループから選択される1種類以上の香味の組み合わせである、請求項6に記載の歯磨剤。
- その歯磨剤が約4.1以上の香味強度値を有する、請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の歯磨剤。
- その歯磨剤が少なくとも7.0%の香味保持値を有する、請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の歯磨剤。
- その歯磨剤の弾性率が約65,000から約100,000dyn/cm2までの範囲内である、請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載の歯磨剤。
- さらに有効量の再石灰化剤を含む、請求項1〜10のいずれか1項に記載の歯磨剤。
