Abstract
【解決手段】スパージャは、ガスポケットを収集するためのハウジングと、ポケットが十分な大きさに達した時にポケットから少なくとも一部のガスを放出するための導管とを有する。任意には、導管の出口を覆うカバーは放出されたガスを分割又は分配できる。大型スパージャは、複数の小型ユニット又は領域を備える。スパージャへのガスの供給は、膜システムの状態の変化に応じてより長い期間にわたって流量を変化させて、連続的な気泡のバースト間隔を変化させる。ガス供給管は、2以上のユニット又は領域の各々と連通する、異なる高さの2以上の出口を有してもよい。2以上のユニット又は領域間のガスの吐出は、同期させることができる。一組のユニット又は領域のうちの1以上が、より高い流量の供給ガスを受け入れてもよい。

Claims (27)
- 液体に気泡を供給する装置であって、
a)チャンバを画成し、チャンバの内部とチャンバの外部とを連通する開口をチャンバの下に有するハウジングと、
b)導管であって、チャンバの内部の第1開口と、チャンバの外部と連通する第2開口とを有し、第1開口から第2開口の方向へ導管の最下点まで下方に延在する部分を有する閉流路を画成する導管と
を備えており、
c)チャンバがガスポケットと液体との界面より上にガスポケットを保持するように構成され、界面は導管内の第1開口の少なくとも下限から導管の最下点の上限に及ぶ可変高度を有する、装置。 - 導管の第2開口は導管の最下点より上にある、請求項1記載の装置。
- 導管の第2開口は第1開口上又はそれより上にある、請求項2記載の装置。
- 導管の第1開口より上にチャンバにガスを吐出するための出口を有するガス供給管をさらに備える、請求項1乃至請求項3のいずれか1項記載の装置。
- 導管の最下点の上限より下にチャンバにガスを吐出するための出口を有するガス供給管をさらに備える、請求項1乃至請求項4のいずれか1項記載の装置。
- 導管の第2開口上に複数の穴を有するカバーをさらに備える、請求項1乃至請求項5のいずれか1項記載の装置。
- 第2開口が1〜10cm2の面積を有する、請求項1乃至請求項6のいずれか1項記載の装置。
- 導管の第2開口の断面積は、関連するチャンバの水平方向断面積の少なくとも10分の1未満である、請求項1乃至請求項7のいずれか1項記載の装置。
- 下部ポッティングヘッドを有する浸漬膜モジュールをさらに備え、請求項1記載の装置が下部ポッティングヘッドの下、横、又はそれと組合せて配置される、請求項1乃至請求項8のいずれか1項記載の装置。
- 下部ポッティングヘッドの下、横、又はそれと組合せて配置された請求項1記載の複数の装置を有する、請求項9記載のアセンブリ。
- チャンバの各々にガスを吐出するための出口、又は出口に接続されたガス供給管を有する、請求項10記載のアセンブリ。
- 浸漬膜モジュール用のスパージャであって、
a)細長ハウジングであって、ハウジングの上部から下方に延在する壁を有し、開放底を備えたプレナムを画成するハウジングと、
b)概してハウジング内に配置されてハウジングの長さに沿って置換配置された複数の導管であって、各々がハウジングの内部と連通する第1開口と、ハウジングの上部を通る第2開口と、第1及び第2開口管の最下点とを有する複数の導管と
を備える、スパージャ。 - 導管の第2開口上に穴を有するカバーをさらに備える、請求項12記載のスパージャ。
- ハウジング内の導管間に導管をハウジング内の個別領域に分離するデバイダを有する、請求項12又は請求項13記載のスパージャ。
- カバー内の第2開口間にデバイダを有する、請求項12乃至請求項14のいずれか1項記載のスパージャ。
- ハウジングの領域の各々にガスを吐出するための、ハウジングの長さに沿ったガス分配管をさらに備える、請求項14記載のガススパージャ。
- ガス分配管は複数の下方に延在する管をさらに備え、少なくとも1つの下方に延在する管はハウジングの各々の領域と連通する、請求項16記載のガススパージャ。
- 下方に延在する管の各々は異なる高さの少なくとも2つの開口を有する、請求項17記載のガススパージャ。
- ガス分配管は、ハウジングの1以上の領域に、もう1つの領域に放出されるガス流量に対してより多くのガス流量を放出するように構成される、請求項16記載のガススパージャ。
- ハウジングの壁の下縁部にスカロップを有する、請求項12記載のガススパージャ。
- デバイダを通るポートを有する、請求項14記載のガススパージャ。
- 液体に浸漬した膜モジュールにガス散布するプロセスであって、
a)液体にスパージャを浸漬するステップであって、スパージャは、スパージャからの出口と、スパージャによって画成されたチャンバと連通し、液体中にガスポケットを保持するように構成された入口とを備えた導管を有し、導管は入口及び出口間に最下点を有するステップと、
b)気泡を30秒毎に少なくとも1回出口から発生させるのに十分な割合でスパージャにガスを供給するステップとを備える、プロセス。 - 出口から発生した後に気泡を拡散又は分配するステップをさらに備える、請求項22記載のプロセス。
- スパージャをモジュールの下、横、又はそれと組合せて配置するステップをさらに備える、請求項22又は請求項23記載のプロセス。
- 気泡が2〜20秒毎に1回のバーストで出口から発生するような割合でガスがスパージャに供給される、請求項22乃至請求項24のいずれか1項記載のプロセス。
- 膜システム動作パラメータを考慮して決定された割合でガスがスパージャに供給される、請求項22乃至請求項25のいずれか1項記載のプロセス。
- ステップa)及びb)が第2のスパージャで繰り返され、第2のスパージャは、任意には第1のスパージャと一体的又は別個であり、気泡がほぼ同時にスパージャから発生するようにスパージャに供給されたガスがスパージャ間を流れる経路を提供する、請求項22乃至請求項26のいずれか1項記載のプロセス。
