Abstract
【解決手段】表示装置12を収容する筐体13の表面に、上記表示装置12を覆うようにフロントカバー部材14を取付ける。そして、上記表示装置12表面の周縁部とフロントカバー部材14との間に、弾性材15を介装するようにした表示装置12の保持構造に関する。上記弾性材15の上記フロントカバー部材14側の面に、形状保持性を有する薄板材21を貼付ける。そして、薄板材21が貼付けられた上記弾性材15を、上記フロントカバー部材14の内面に対して貼付けるようにする。

図6、図7に示すように、上記弾性材15の上記フロントカバー部材14側の面に、形状保持性を有する薄板材21を貼付けるようにする。
ここで、上記した「薄板材21」は、樹脂板や、金属板などを用いることができる。この場合には、樹脂板としている。薄板材21は、黒色などの暗色系のものとするのが好ましい。薄板材21を樹脂とする場合、形状保持性を有するために、薄板材21は、概ね0.3mm〜1mm程度の厚みを有するものとするのが好ましい。これは、0.3mmよりも薄くすると形状保持性を有さなくなり、1mmよりも厚くすると、表示装置12とフロントカバー部材14との間の隙間よりも厚くなって設置できなくなることによる。薄板材21は、表示装置12の表面の周縁部(上記した枠状部12aなど)を取囲む枠形状のものとされる。
形状保持性を有する上記薄板材21の表面に、反射防止加工が施されるようにする(図7の反射防止加工部24)。
ここで、上記した「反射防止加工(反射防止加工部24)」は、例えば、シボ加工や、つや消し加工(微細凹凸加工)などとすることができる。
形状保持性を有する上記薄板材21の外形を、上記弾性材15の外形より、少なくとも部分的に大きくなるようにする(僅少段差部25)。
ここで、弾性材15と薄板材21とは、好ましくは、弾性材15と薄板材21とを予め貼合せて一体化された複合シートを、枠形状に打抜くことなどによって部品化される(複合パッキン22)ようにする。
弾性材15のフロントカバー部材14側の面に、形状保持性を有する薄板材21を貼付けたことにより、弾性材15が容易には変形しなくなるので、手で持ち易くなり、フロントカバー部材14の裏面への貼付作業をやり易くすることができる。以って、フロントカバー部材14の裏面に弾性材15を貼付ける際に、位置ズレを生じ難くなり、貼直し作業を減らすことができる。その結果、貼直しによる弾性材15の損傷や、弾性材15を貼付けるための糊面の露出がなくなって、見栄えの悪化を防止することができる。
形状保持性を有する薄板材21の表面に、反射防止加工が施されたことにより、薄板材21の存在を外部から目立ち難くすることができる。また、表示装置12の表示が薄板材21の表面に反射して表示の妨げとなったり、薄板材21の反射光が表示装置12の表示よりも目立ったりするのを防止することができる。
形状保持性を有する薄板材21の外形を、弾性材15の外形より、少なくとも部分的に大きくなるようにしたことにより、薄板材21をより持ち易くして作業性を向上することができる。また、弾性材15を薄板材21によって隠すことができる。

Claims (3)
- 表示装置を収容する筐体の表面に、前記表示装置を覆うようにフロントカバー部材を取付け、
前記表示装置表面の周縁部とフロントカバー部材との間に、弾性材を介装した表示装置保持構造において、
前記弾性材の前記フロントカバー部材側の面に、形状保持性を有する薄板材を貼付け、
該薄板材が貼付けられた前記弾性材を、前記フロントカバー部材の内面に対して貼付けたことを特徴とする表示装置保持構造。 - 形状保持性を有する前記薄板材の表面に、反射防止加工が施されたことを特徴とする請求項1記載の表示装置保持構造。
- 形状保持性を有する前記薄板材の外形を、前記弾性材の外形より、少なくとも部分的に大きくなるようにしたことを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2記載の表示装置保持構造。
