Abstract
【解決手段】4−メチル−1−ペンテン系重合体(A)50〜99重量部、スチレン系エラストマー(B)1〜50重量部、オレフィン系重合体(C)1〜30重量部(ただし、(A),(B),(C)の合計量を100重量部とする)を含んでなる4−メチル−1−ペンテン系樹脂組成物によって上記課題が解決される。

Description
<4−メチル−1−ペンテン系重合体系樹脂組成物>
本発明にかかる4−メチル−1−ペンテン系重合体系樹脂組成物は、4−メチル−1−ペンテン系重合体(A)、スチレン系エラストマー(B)およびオレフィン系重合体(C)を必須の構成成分として包含する。
〔4−メチル−1−ペンテン系重合体(A)〕
本発明で用いられる4−メチル−1−ペンテン系重合体(A)は、チーグラー・ナッタ触媒やメタロセン触媒などの公知のオレフィン重合用触媒の存在下で、4−メチル−1−ペンテンを含むモノマーを重合することにより製造される。
〔スチレン系エラストマー(B)〕
本発明で用いられるスチレン系エラストマー(B)とは、ブロックの形態が下記式(x)または式(y)で表されるブロック共重合体である。
(XY)n ・・・(y)
前記式(x)または(y)のXで示される重合ブロックを構成するモノビニル置換芳香族炭化水素としては、スチレン、α−メチルスチレン、o−メチルスチレン、p−メチルスチレン、p−t−ブチルスチレン、1,3−ジメチルスチレン、クロロスチレン、低級アルキル置換スチレン、ビニルナフタレン、ビニルアントラセン等のスチレンまたはその誘導体などが挙げられる。これらは1種単独で使用することもできるし、2種以上を組み合せて使用することもできる。
〔オレフィン系重合体(C)〕
本発明で用いられるオレフィン系重合体(C)は、炭素原子数3〜20のα−オレフィンから選ばれる1種以上のオレフィンを重合して得られる重合体であって、上述した4−メチル−1−ペンテン系重合体(A)は除く。
〔4−メチル−1−ペンテン系重合体系樹脂組成物中の各成分の含有量〕
本発明の4−メチル−1−ペンテン系樹脂組成物は、特定量の4−メチル−1−ペンテン系重合体(A)、スチレン系エラストマー(B)およびオレフィン系重合体(C)を含む。
〔その他成分〕
4−メチル−1−ペンテン系樹脂組成物には、その用途に応じて、本発明の効果を阻害しない範囲で他の樹脂あるいは重合体および/または樹脂用添加剤を任意に添加することができる。かかる樹脂用添加剤としては、例えば、顔料、染料、充填剤、滑剤、可塑剤、離型剤、酸化防止剤、難燃剤、紫外線吸収剤、抗菌剤、界面活性剤、帯電防止剤、耐候安定剤、耐熱安定剤、スリップ防止剤、アンチブロッキング剤、発泡剤、結晶化助剤、防曇剤、(透明)核剤、老化防止剤、塩酸吸収剤、衝撃改良剤、架橋剤、共架橋剤、架橋助剤、粘着剤、軟化剤、加工助剤などが挙げられる。これらの添加剤は、1種単独でも、適宜2種以上を組み合わせても用いることができる。
<4−メチル−1−ペンテン系樹脂組成物の製造方法>
本発明にかかる4−メチル−1−ペンテン系重合体系樹脂組成物の製造方法は特に限定されないが、例えば、4−メチル−1−ペンテン系重合体(A)と、スチレン系エラストマー(B)と、オレフィン系重合体(C)と、他の任意成分とを上述の添加割合で混合したのち、溶融混練して得られる。
<4−メチル−1−ペンテン系樹脂組成物からなる成形体>
本発明に係る4−メチル−1−ペンテン系樹脂組成物からなる各種成形体としては、押出成形シート、押出成形マンドレル、押出成形ケーブル被覆体、押出成形電線被覆体、射出成形体などが挙げられ、その用途としては、例えば、自動車部品(フロントエンド、ファンシェラウド、クーリングファン、エンジンアンダーカバー、エンジンカバー、ラジエターボックス、サイドドア、バックドアインナー、バックドアアウター、外板、ルーフレール、ドアハンドル、ラゲージボックス、ホイールカバー、ハンドル、クーリングモジュール、エアークリーナー、スポイラー、燃料タンク、プラットフォームおよびサイドメンバ、モータコネクタ筐体、バンパー、インストラメントパネル表皮材、コントロールケーブル被覆材、電線被覆材)、家電材料部品、電気・電子部品、建築部材、土木部材、農業資材および日用品等を例示できる。
(1)押出成形シート
本発明に係る樹脂組成物から一般的な押出成形機で成形することにより、押出シートが得られる。具体的には、一軸押出機にて、所定のシリンダ温度通常250〜300℃および所定のキャストロール温度通常0〜50℃で成形を行って押出シートを形成する。
(2)押出成形ケーブル被覆体、押出成形電線被覆材
本発明に係る樹脂組成物から一般的な押出成形機を用いることで、各種ケーブルの被覆成形体が得られる。具体的には、一軸押出機にて、所定のシリンダ温度通常250〜300℃、ライン速度1〜200m/minにて、被覆成形体を得る。
(3)射出成形体
本発明に係る樹脂組成物はペレットを溶融軟化させて金型に充填し、成型温度通常250〜300℃、成形サイクル通常20〜120秒で射出成形物が得られる。
・4−メチル−1−ペンテン系重合体(A)
三井化学株式会社製TPX(登録商標)、銘柄名:MX002(融点:233℃、MFR(ASTM D1238、260℃、5kgf):21g/10min)
・スチレン系エラストマー(B)
JSR株式会社製ダイナロン(水添スチレンブタジエンゴム)、銘柄名:1320P(MFR(JIS K7210、230℃、2.16kgf):3.5g/10min、密度(JIS K7112、0.89g/cm3)
・オレフィン系重合体(C)
プライムポリマー株式会社製プライムポリプロ(プロピレン・エチレンランダム共重合体、エチレン含量4.5mol%)、銘柄名:F227D(融点:138℃、MFR(JIS K7210、230℃、2.16kgf):7g/10min)
・4−メチル−1−ペンテン系樹脂組成物のプレス片作成条件
熱プレス機(神藤金属工業社製 圧縮成形機(型締50ton))
プレス温度:260℃、プレス圧力:10MPa、プレス時間:5分
金型:ダンベル形状(チャック間距離:30mm、平行部(幅:5mmx厚み1mm))
・引張試験
30mmのチャック間距離、30mm/minのクロスヘッド速度にて、−40℃、23℃および140℃の熱雰囲気下で引張強度、引張破断伸びを測定した。
・モルフォロジー観察
4−メチル−1−ペンテン系樹脂組成物中のスチレン系エラストマー(B)の分散様相を確認するために、上記方法で作成したプレス片中心部を切り出し、走査型電子顕微鏡(日本電子(株):JSM6380)による断面観察を行った。
4−メチル−1−ペンテン系重合体(A)、スチレン系エラストマー(B)およびオレフィン系重合体(C)を、70/20/10wt%の組成比にて、2軸押出機(池貝社製、φ=43mm、L/D=32、シリンダ温度:260℃)で溶融混練を行い、4−メチル−1−ペンテン系樹脂組成物1を得た。得られた4−メチル−1−ペンテン系樹脂組成物1の引張強度および引張破断伸びを測定した結果を表1にまとめた。
4−メチル−1−ペンテン系重合体(A)、スチレン系エラストマー(B)およびオレフィン系重合体(C)の組成比を60/30/10wt%に変更した以外は、実施例1と同様の方法で溶融混練を行い、4−メチル−1−ペンテン系樹脂組成物2を得た。得られた4−メチル−1−ペンテン系樹脂組成物2の引張強度および引張破断伸びを測定した結果を表1にまとめた。
4−メチル−1−ペンテン系重合体(A)、スチレン系エラストマー(B)およびオレフィン系重合体(C)の組成比を50/30/20wt%に変更した以外は、実施例1と同様の方法で溶融混練を行い、4−メチル−1−ペンテン系樹脂組成物3を得た。得られた4−メチル−1−ペンテン系樹脂組成物4の引張強度および引張破断伸びを測定した結果を表1にまとめた。
4−メチル−1−ペンテン系重合体(A)単独で得られたプレス片の引張強度および引張破断伸びを測定した結果を表1にまとめた。
オレフィン系重合体(C)を用いず、4−メチル−1−ペンテン系重合体(A)およびスチレン系エラストマー(B)の組成比を90/10wt%とした以外は、実施例1と同様の方法で溶融混練を行い、4−メチル−1−ペンテン系樹脂組成物4を得た。得られた4−メチル−1−ペンテン系樹脂組成物4の引張強度および引張破断伸びを測定した結果を表1にまとめた。
Claims (5)
- 4−メチル−1−ペンテン系重合体(A)50〜98重量部、スチレン系エラストマー(B)1〜50重量部、炭素原子数3〜20のα−オレフィンから選ばれる1種以上のオレフィンを重合して得られるオレフィン系重合体(C)(ただし、4−メチル−1−ペンテン系重合体(A)を除く)1〜30重量部((A)、(B)、(C)の合計量を100重量部とする)を含んでなる4−メチル−1−ペンテン系樹脂組成物。
- 前記オレフィン系重合体(C)が、ポリプロピレン、プロピレン・エチレン共重合体、プロピレン・1−ブテン共重合体、プロピレン・4−メチル−1−ペンテン共重合体から選ばれる請求項1に記載の4−メチル−1−ペンテン系重合体/スチレン系エラストマー樹脂組成物。
- 前記スチレン系エラストマー(B)が、スチレン−ブタジエンゴム、スチレン−イソプレンゴム、スチレン−水添ブタジエンゴム、スチレン−水添イソプレンゴムから選ばれる請求項1または2に記載の4−メチル−1−ペンテン系重合体/スチレン系エラストマー樹脂組成物。
- 請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の4−メチル−1−ペンテン系樹脂組成物からなる成形体。
- 請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の4−メチル−1−ペンテン系樹脂組成物からなる被覆材。
