Abstract
【課題】 作動停止時の損傷を確実に防止して、発電性能を良好に維持することができる熱電発電装置を提供する。
【解決手段】 高温流体が通過する高温管10、高温管10に水平方向に隣接して配置され高温流体よりも低温の低温流体が通過する低温管20、高温管10と低温管20との間に介在され高温管10と低温管20との温度差によって発電する熱電モジュール32、低温管20の上部および下部に低温管20と並列に接続された流体チャンバ28、および、液状の低温流体を流体チャンバ28に補充可能な流体補充器110を備える熱電発電装置1。

Claims (8)
- 高温流体が通過する高温管、
前記高温管に水平方向に隣接して配置され前記高温流体よりも低温の低温流体が通過する低温管、
前記高温管と前記低温管との間に介在され前記高温管と前記低温管との温度差によって発電する熱電モジュール、
前記低温管の上部および下部に前記低温管と並列に接続された流体チャンバ、および、
液状の前記低温流体を前記流体チャンバに補充可能な流体補充器を備える熱電発電装置。 - 前記流体チャンバは、前記低温管内における前記低温流体の液面高さを検出可能なレベルセンサを備える請求項1に記載の熱電発電装置。
- 前記高温管、低温管および熱電モジュールを収容し、内部を減圧可能な容器を更に備え、
前記流体チャンバは、前記容器の外部に設けられている請求項1または2に記載の熱電発電装置。 - 前記流体補充器は、予備の前記低温流体を貯留するタンクである請求項1から3のいずれかに記載の熱電発電装置。
- 前記低温管の供給側および排出側にそれぞれ設けられ、前記低温管への前記低温流体の供給停止時に、前記低温管の供給側を遮断する一方、前記低温管の排出側を開放するフェールセーフ弁を更に備える請求項4に記載の熱電発電装置。
- 前記流体補充器は、前記低温管の排出側と前記流体チャンバの供給側との間に介在され、前記低温管から排出される前記低温流体の蒸気を凝縮する凝縮器である請求項1から3のいずれかに記載の熱電発電装置。
- 前記低温管の供給側および排出側にそれぞれ設けられ、前記低温管への前記低温流体の供給停止時に、前記低温管の供給側および排出側の双方を遮断して前記低温管と前記流体チャンバとの間で閉ループを形成するフェールセーフ弁を更に備える請求項6に記載の熱電発電装置。
- 前記高温管の供給側および排出側にそれぞれ設けられ、前記高温管への前記高温流体の供給停止時に、前記高温管の供給側および排出側の双方を遮断するフェールセーフ弁を更に備える請求項1から7のいずれかに記載の熱電発電装置。
