Abstract
【解決手段】本発明の一態様に係る発光装置1は、基板2と、基板2に実装された、同じ色域の光を発する発光素子3a、3bとを有する。発光素子3a、3bは、発する光のピーク波長の偏差の最大値が1.25nm以上であるという第1の条件と、閾値電圧の偏差の最大値が0.05V以上であるという第2の条件の、少なくともいずれか一方を満たす。

Description
図1は、本発明の実施の形態に係る発光装置1の垂直断面図である。発光装置1は、基板2と、基板2上に実装された発光素子3a、3bと、基板2上に発光素子3a、3bを囲む又は挟むように形成されたリフレクタ4と、基板2上のリフレクタ4の内側に発光素子3a、3bを覆うように充填された透明封止樹脂5を有する。
上記実施の形態によれば、従来は廃棄されていたような製品規格から外れた発光波長又は閾値電圧を有する発光素子を適切な条件で組み合わせて用いることにより、所望の発光波長及び閾値電圧を有する発光装置を得ることができる。このため、発光素子の歩留まりを向上させることができる。

- 基板と、
前記基板に実装された、同じ色域の光を発する複数の発光素子と、
を有し、
前記複数の発光素子が、発する光のピーク波長の偏差の最大値が1.25nm以上であるという第1の条件と、閾値電圧の偏差の最大値が0.05V以上であるという第2の条件の、少なくともいずれか一方を満たす発光装置。 - 前記複数の発光素子の発する光のピーク波長は、共に380〜435nm、435〜480nm、480〜500nm、500〜570nm、570〜590nm、590〜620nm、又は620〜750nmの範囲内にある、
請求項1に記載の発光装置。 - 前記複数の発光素子から発せられる光を反射する、前記基板上のリフレクタをさらに有する、
請求項1又は2に記載の発光装置。 - 前記第1の条件では、前記ピーク波長の偏差の最大値が7.5nm以下である、
請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の発光装置。 - 前記第1の条件では、前記ピーク波長の偏差の最大値が2.5nm以上である、
請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の発光装置。 - 前記第1の条件では、前記ピーク波長の偏差の最大値が3.75nm以上である、
請求項5に記載の発光装置。 - 前記第2の条件では、前記閾値電圧の偏差の最大値が0.25V以下である、
請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の発光装置。 - 前記第2の条件では、前記閾値電圧の偏差の最大値が0.1V以上である、
請求項1、2、3、7のいずれか1項に記載の発光装置。 - 前記第2の条件では、前記閾値電圧の偏差の最大値が0.2V以上である、
